Oh Thank you thank you THANK YOU!! I must make time to watch ALL your videos! Your video is the most helpful. My husband just got me a Brother SE1900 and my children have been asking for this and that. lol . I have wasted sooo much materials (thread, needles, some clothing and time! I was getting sooo frustrated. I am sooo happy I have found you and this wonderful video. Thanks so very much for taking the time to create your wonderful and most helpful videos!
Thank you for all your explanations. They were so very helpful. You explained in detail why to use each of the items rather than just say to use it, I appreciate the explanation!
New to your channel and I'm loving it! Boy are you right on!! I've been embroidering for several years and I find painter's tape is an absolute necessity. It helps with guiding fabric, tacking bits of fabric down, and taming stray thread. Once you have it you'll find plenty to do with it. Next is a decent assortment of long tweezers. Harbor Freight has a great package of shapes and sizes for about $5.00. Pick up a dental mirror while you're there for about $1. Oh.....and a magnet on a metal retractable rod. I don't know what its called, but if you drop a screw or needle, it's a life saver. After that is some paint brushes. Great to get down in between those mystery spots in the bottom of the machine and pull out all kinds of yuck. THe last thing is a granddaughter of about 4-5 to enjoy the magic of embroidery with you. Have fun!
This video was so helpful, than you. I have just ordered y embroidery machine and it isn't even here yet so I really am a real beginner. Your video was super helpful to me because now I can get supplies in and be confident about what to order and be all ready to go when my machine arrives.
Thank you so much😀 I have been looking at so many videos for information on embroidery 😒this is my one stop shop 😀 I will be attending my new embroidery school 🤩am learning.
I was searching for help with nesting and tension problems and came up with your channel. Although you did not focus on my particular problem. I gained knowledge of what nesting is and how to cut it out from under the hoop. Thank you for such a wonderful job, your instructions are very clear and precise. Further, I loved the optional tools that can benefit beginners.
I've been watching your vids for almost two years. Loving them, thank you for postings. I'm sure the videos are time consuming to edit and download. I appreciate every one. Thanks to your videos, I included embroidery as part of my sewing business. Just got the Brother Pe800 last week. Thank you, thank you.
I just got a single needle brother's pe 100 I think machine I bought it used so im super afraid to start working on it but watching this video will at least gives me a lot of information to start. It has that arm in the middle which is different from the full base one that I watched at the store but hopefully ill get over my fear and get to work. Thanks so much for your videos.
First time viewing your channel because I’m considering purchasing an embroidery machine for home use. Wow…you are so informative! I really appreciate how clearly you explain everything! Thank you!
Hi, iv'e just watched this video , brilliant brilliant. So clearly explained and patiently explained, so informative. i can't thank you enough, bless you.
omg your videos are so informative im glad I found your channel. I have been watching this other Girls embroidery vlogs and I just cant stand how she makes unnecessary noises. cant really see what shes trying to show her vids areso dim, and honestly whenever I finished watching her vids I ask myself what I learned, Not A thing! while you are giving out prices kinds of stabilizers and infos and its just 6 mins in this video! your are doing a great job, thanks so much.
My wife and I are newbies that want to start a small embroidery business, I loved all your info I took notes and I will be following you thank you so much for taking the time and I’ll use all your links to support you💯🌹
Thank you so much! This video is an absolutely Embroidery materials 101! I bought a machine embroidery book which is awesome, but nothing comes close to a thorough explanation. I have been sewing since I was 9 years old. At 55+, I decided to learn machine embroidery. I bought a PE 800 in April that is still in the box. Bought everything I thought I needed. Thanks again!
Thank you, thank you, thank you. I am buying my first machine (beginner) and your information was very, very helpful! You should offer classes in Charlotte!
I'm new to machine embroidery and just wanted to say how informative and useful I found your video. I had already worked out that good quality thread is a must but I found the part about the different needles so useful. Thank you.
Have watched approx three of your videos (found you by accident) and love each and everyone of them. Based on many RUclips videos and your videos, I recently purchased a PE625 (yesterday..hoot, hoot!) and I am so excited because, yes because.....Because I have you here to guide me and answer ALL of my questions (I promise not to worry you). Haven't opened the box yet (little tired from work) but plan to in the next few days. Your videos are thorough and detailed, and I love how you even compare different stitches, gives us great tips and suggestions along the way. Been sewing for a while but embroidery is my next adventure I wanted to add. I'm going to use my Brother embroidery machine just as is and use my Singer as my go to for sewing when needed (have learned that Brother machines are way superior!). I have a lot of great-nieces and nephews on the way and I am quite excited about the little gifts I will be able to make with their names embellished on them. Now to get motivated :) Thanks again for your gift to teach and share! God bless. Keep doing a great work!
I just purchased a Brother PE800 embroidery machine and need some clarity on stabilizers. Should tear away stabilizer be used on top of your embroidery fabric or can it be placed underneath the fabric, like other stabilizers are usually placed? I would like to practice embroidery on some hand towels(not thick)that I have on hand...do I need to use a stabilizer for towels? I would like to say a big thank you for posting this very clear and informative video! i love that you spoke slowly and clearly for all of us newcomers Thanks, Eve!
Your video was extremely helpful! I have yet to start with my one needle machine. I’m watching videos and will begin soon but found your video a confidence builder.
Someone mention ur name on Facebook today and I came over to check u out and I must say I’m super impressed, u took the time out to explain, I appreciate it so much
Well thank you kindly for taking the time to stop in! We always appreciate referrals 🤗 Feel free to hang around and throw out any questions/suggestions you may have!
I appreciate all of your information. I only do home embroidery on my machine. After watching your video lots of questions were answered about stabilizers and items that are needed. Your video is straight forward and direct. Ill join your group and look forward to the knowledge that you have provided. Thanks.
Thank you for all your instructional advice. I greatly appreciate your intelligence. I have experienced the birds nest issues. Thank you for the advice of the blade. It was quite a challenge. I was very new to embroidery and nearly walked away. But my curiosity keeps me going. I love creating new gifts.
Thank you for truly making this a REAL beginners video - some folks act like they can still skip steps in application. I hate when people call themselves training you but don't give you the explanation behind why you are selecting something or doing something. Knowing the why is how you remember NOT to do something that could cause harm or break the machine that you spent so much money on. You definitely got me subscribed and I am thinking on joining. Thank You So Much!!
Your video was very Thorough & well presented! I now have Confidence to get in My sewing studio & FINALLY unbox My New Brother Embroidery Machine!😂 Thanks A Million!❤👑🕊New Subscriber!👍🏼😁
I just bought a Babylock FlourishII and a friend told me to see this video. It was so informative. Thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge with newbies like me.
Wow! this was excellent! Thank you so much!!! (and yep I'll probably use more !s ! ) I also love that you put time stamps in the drop box. Thank you again!
Dear Ms. Baby Bootie, I just discovered you, and I am amazed at your ability to teach. You do not stutter or search for words. You explain the "why" with each process and product. You give great information, but do not waste words as so many instructors do on line. I loved your help, and I love your skills. Thanks so much.
Very nice video. Alot of good information 😀 One question though, when talking about needles you didn't talk much about the needle actually called embroidery needle. You briefly mentioned anti-glue being great with sticky or glue spray, but nothing was said about the standard embroidery needle. Understand you prefer the metallic/topstitch and why, but what can you say about the embroidery needle? Waiting on my first machine now and was told the embroidery needle was the way to go and that you rarely need "fabric specific" needles, so I bought a few packs. But what you are saying makes more sense to me... Thanks for sharing your knowledge 👍🪡
Embroidery needles are similar to topstitch in that the eye is a bit bigger than the standard sewing needle, but not as large an eye as the topstitch needle. Either option is a great choice.
Another superb teaching video. The information is really useful and based on practice not money. Well prepared, well presented and incredibly helpful for me, and I suspect many others. Thank you.
Great video Eve. You always explain things so anyone can understand. I have been embroidering for over 10 years and I am still learning. I have been watching you for a while and you always make things easy and fun. Keep making those great videos. You are a blessing to all of us.
I just found your channel. I wish there was 1 stabilizer fits all projects😁😁😁. It would be a lot easier. However, your information has been very helpful. Thank you
Thank you for sharing your sewing knowledge! I just purchased my first machine yesterday and I am trying to learn as much as I can before operating it for the first time which I am hoping will be this weekend. I have already learned so much from watching your videos. Thanks again!!!
This video is straight to the point. I'm a beginner and I have a Brother PE800. So, I'm going to order all the materials that you suggested. Thank you...

Great video training. I learn a lot. I have the Brother SE65. I use it mostly for garment and home sewing. I haven's used the embroidery feature in a long time and need a refresher. I'm making branded labels for my projects - just my name to label my garments.
Wow, you have given us so many great tips and much needed information, I am so glad I decided to watch your video before even trying any embroidering! Thank you so much, Eve!
This was the best, the best introduction to embroidery I have come across. Thank you!

Very informative. Thank you. Any comment on using natural silk threads? They sure look nice, but dDo they get destroyed in the wash?
