Meredith, we have a t-post puller but Lawrence's puller makes it look so much easier.
Take Ketchup, Worcestershire Sauce an Brown Sugar Mix together and pour on top. Some people wait until after it is cooked But I like to bake in the oven with the Sauce

I used to have one of these little utility tractors on my farm. LOVED that tiny tractor! I welded 2 chain hooks on the top front edge/corner of the bucket so I could secure loads and added an extension when needed(old garden way cart) to the bucket when cleaning stalls. Got at least 5X more stalls cleaned per load that way.
now thats one smart farmer thats a great way to pull fence post ....as always praying for you and your family..thomas in north central missouri

Oh yeah, a round meatloaf just like granny used to make! It looks just like a cow pie so I bought her a cast loaf pan just like the ones Cracker Barrel uses.

Greeting from AZ. 🌵🇺🇸 I tell you what, Ole LB come up with a great idea with his fence post grabber picker upper do hickey gizmo bob ( farmer lingo 🤣 ), My uncles always jury rigged some device to help out around their farms. I was trying to picture the look on LB face sitting in one of them behemoth JD 9RZ tractors ( I think there only about $1,000,000 ) 🤪🤣

Farmers and ranchers throw very little away (see also the pile in the back 40) and reuse/reinvent/back woods engineer as much as they possibly can. Always interesting to see what they've created out of the cast offs.

When I was a rookie truck driver I turned around in a farmer’s field once. I had made a wrong turn and got on a dead end road. The farmer ran out with his dogs and got in front of my truck. He was very mad. I apologized and said I had to find a turnaround spot. He said there’s a turnaround for trucks at the dead end. I said maybe put up a sign that lets us know that.
Right of way is what you're looking for on the side of the road.

Topping for your meat loaf. A scant 1/3 cup of brown sugar with 1tbls apple cider vinegar, Stir together then when dissolved somewhat add about 4tb sweet baby rays bbg sauce you fav flavor and the same amount of ketchup Mix well and about half way thru coat top of meatloaf with mixture and use extra for a condiment for the meatloaf.
That does sound good!

If your husband would just use the new Holland with the side, arm brush cutter, he’d be really taken care of trees and branches above his head. I do it all the time was the new Holland has their very nice

@@ThisFarmWife_ just telling it’ll be OK. It might not be a John Deere but it’s a new Holland but he’ll like it and if he starts trimming with that he will like it especially when you can trim the side of trees and ditches a lot of different things and just a regular brush hog

we made a post puller almost identical to Lawrence's post puller, about 40 years ago. We used a J.D. bush hog blade also. I believe that Lawrence and my father would have got along great, they both make what they need to get the job done.

Meredith youcanalways mix ketchup, brown sugar and garlic fir your topping.
You should try Bisto Gravy granules for a very good beef gravy. Mind you it really thickens fast so you need to be quick to mix it in otherwise you'll get lumps.

If you want a variation of ingredients for the meatloaf, mom would use so much V8 per pound of beef with an egg or two mixed in. As long as I included all the ingredients she used we always came back for seconds. Some of us made a sandwich out of it too. Oh, and usually chopped onion.

The state made me put in a 15" metal culvert with flaired ends for my driveway. It was in a rather high area. I told the guy that if it ever had any water in it, we better be building an ark. But I went to all the bother and expense. Less than 2 months later, the state came by brush hogging and tore the flair off and put a big dent in the end of the culvert. I decided I wasn't fixing it. If they don't like it, they can fix it.

Haven't heard LBs analysis in a long time, still laughing. Try this with meatloaf, use Onion Soup mix in with the meat, egg and breadcrumbs. Also a couple strips of bacon on the top with the 57 sauce. Happy Spring, stay well and safe.

I grew Matua for a while but found it did not persist needs careful grazing management couldn't graze it for longer than 3 days or else you were eating regrowth which depleted root reserves.
We are only raising it for hay, so we will see 🙏

Why don't you get your water from the stream with a pump with a filter on it so it doesn't put a strain on your water well, seems a portable pump would be a lot faster and cheaper in the long run.
