I saw Sonne Farms do something that you might want to do. When he needs to spray a group of cattle he spreads some kind of biscuit treats the cattle love in a certain way on the ground so the cattle are grouped together and all he has to do is drive around the circle of cattle and they all get a good spray. I’ve seen him do it several tines and it appears to work really well.

You folks are experiencing what I call the 3 "r's" to ranching/farming. It's either remove, replace or repair! You are not alone in this dilemma. When it comes to equipment, if you use it, it will break; don't use it will break anyhow! None of us are exempt. Just keep on moving forward.

Great Video Meredith, I always say spilling a bit of blood is good for your health! Lances tight fisted and messy approach machinery maintenance might change once Wesley becomes the farm! While the breakdowns and constant need to repair things annoys you, it is very much part of the man you love! Wesley is predominantly your personality and thought processes and change will be needed because the future means farming will be a lot more complex and intensive! Thanks for sharing

I had a Mell of a Hess in my shop. Hard work and no time to clean. I started with two shelves against the wall. And would just gradually put things on the shelves. And i just kept adding shelvings...SIX months later it looks good and I can park my truck in there again. later

Had a electric stove and bought a 500 gallon propane tank and had them run a gas line to where the stove was and put in a gas stove so much better to cook on 😊

Your slate border looks really nice and imperfect is the way to go. Don't sweat anything and just be happy. I like that attitude. You are always saying that something is always gonna go wrong.... well it does for just about everyone I know from all different walks of life. It's just how things go in this day and age. Always a challenge around every corner. Sending you nice autumn weather my NC friend. I am ready for the color and cooler weather.

I do sheet pan quesadillas different. I butter 1 side of 4 tortillas, then lay them half on and half off the 4 sides of the sheet pan. I top the half on the pan, then cover with the half hanging off. I do 2 pans this way for my family of 3, but it would be easy to scale this up for even a crowd. My way keeps you from having to cut them up... and butter makes everything better!

We want one of those babies!! Are they pure bred? I know they are working dogs my son has one and we just love Winston. In fact he & Winston are heading our way and we’re excited about seeing Winston, it’s been a long time. He transferred with his job the Little Rock, Arkansas that cuts the trip by 5 hours. What use to be 10 hours from San Antonio is now just 5 hours. Great to see the pups, have a great day & week & month!!
My family loves for me to make them I also put corn in mine big hit with the family I'm cooking for 7 adults and 5 grandmonsters it's fast as easy. Whenever my husband goes out to work something always needs to be worked on never fails he can fixes anything he is very smart like your husband he says he is a jack of all trades but a master of none I don't agree he never fails to surprise me with thing's he comes up with. Lol

Going with the Farmer Flow, Meredith Bernard swept up in the farming life, pounding, patching and piece mealing to no end. It's the life of a farmer's wife and mother.
Same thing in happening on our farm say like it one breakdown after another from tractor tires well you just name is breaking down this year

I like what you did with the rocks outlining your garden bed. I have broken up concrete (fake rock), I could probably use that to make an outline for a no till garden bed.
I done that recipe, it isn't bad. Have you tried the egg roll in a bowl recipe off of the internet? It's pretty good. I had to use sweet italian sausage because that's what I had. Everyone loved it!

Oh I want a puppy. If I was there I would get one. Looks like I'm not going to get up that way till Christmas now :( I so wanted to see the leaves change. Love it when the family takes rides together! I've made that--it is really good! I add a can of Kidney beans to it too. Yummy

Run your cows through a funnel to spray them, the amount you put on is little. Cattle would have more protection and less fly problem and the expense would be justified. Proper way to fix the grinder mixer is a new shield or liner put in not putty weld, it won’t stay. Your Canada looks just like pizza n cooks like one and looks good
Just hauled off 20 bad batteries. 5 or 6 were still good. Or maybe just kind of good.

Patching fixing straighting ah the farm life just another day at my house welding grinding cutting a new pice painting finding a spring a bolt nails thats my days work changing oil charging battarys greese zerts on tractors combine running engines on things not used in a while oil filters hydro and engine call for fuel tanks fill for corn harvest move animals on pasturecut grasses under fence line grounding electric fence why go to bed dont get better till December when it snows but I do it never ends . Those 8 to 5 people got it made they have a life.

If it is leaking by the wand, gun there is a o ring that needs to be replaced. Lawrence should invest in a hot water pressure washer. He'd love it and wish he'd of done it sooner

@ThisFarmWife_ I do pressure washing as part of my job and our machine gets the water up to 200 degrees. It works wonders getting the gunk that's really stuck on, especially grease. God bless you and your family.

I am a full-time farmer I never leave the house without a gloves in my back pocket. I found out it's easier to protect the hands then to have to be doctoring
