Oreste Papadopol Well you're right it's sounds a bit like it but it's not. The croatian guitars "Tambure" originate in croatia and bosnia. But the kind of manufacturing and playing differs from one region to another. This is more coastal type of music (where i also originate from), but back in the mainland in slavonia and the lands arround zargeb for example they play much faster, more rapid and a similar but another guitar that plays even more high. Different regions, different traditions.
Dalmatians and southern italians are mentaly the same, you even have croat settlemants there ,and it is well know here in dalmatia when you go to sothern italy you'll find out that everything is same if you put language aside
@@hanszepanzerfaust7425 it has to do with the fact that Dalmatia was part of Venice and Slavonia was part of Hungary for centuries. For this reason I don't consider Croatia, Balkanic. It has nothing to do with the Ottoman cultural sphere of Bosnia and Serbia with their Oriental sounding music.
Beautiful folk song. Does anybody recognize this old Dalmatian song? My Grandfather used to sing it missing his mother country. drive.google.com/file/d/1P2IQ1ApSuP5_sdNlK3a1gRSgAUPC1ZL9/view?usp=sharing

When your father is Italian and your Mother Croatian than this would be your song
so, this is an original composition, or?
This is just a part of the "Dances of Korčula island", there is more :)
I am listening in 2018 sounds so italian lol
I guess we Dalmatians influenced Italians a lot...they took a lot from us.
