Benjeeman yes this is best used at distance the greater the distance from the opponent the more successful the move. Also helps if u hv tacs in you pocket but be sure to drop them behind u not in front of u. Very effective.

I've been trying to practice and perfect my spinning back and heel kick but I realised I have been doing it a bit wrong. Thanks for the useful tips Shane
The spinning back kick is great for intercepting an opponent’s attack, and you can also use it with a little jump backwards if the opponent is too close (a classic Taekwon-Do ITF move)

Shane, all people are awarded a certain level of respect from me regardless of their lifestyle, but you are one of the few people that I can say have actually earned it. Very genuine intent, trustworthy energy about you, and you have a very direct yet explanatory style of teaching which makes for a super forgiving but effective means of improvement. Like a placebo self fulfulling prophecy or something haha. It's super rare to see someone as young as you with such a profound level of understanding, im 22 and you reassure me that great wisdom is possible before 30😂 but with that being said i have one minor request, read below:
Very grateful for your videos but watching them has put a lot of emphasis on footwork for me, amd my attention goes to the feet. Ive noticed that sometimes on the heavy bag drills you cant see your whole foot, especially when you are Tyson close to the bag, plus i use subtitles because i remember better visually which makes it real bad sometimes, so i was wondering if you would consider scooting the camera back a bit so we can see the area around your feet at all times, usually everything is on point but here and there one goes off screen. Youre vids are always improving anyway so im sure you woulda thought of this in a week or so haha. Thanks flr everything man i hope you and yours are surrounded by love and light, much respect.
