  • In this video I'm giving you some tips on how to find the BEST camera angles for your RUclips Videos! Many times people try to use a low angle shot or a high angle shot in their camera angle types and cinematography. Knowing techniques like the rule of thirds, leading lines and negative space will help you level up your videos.

    Incredible thanks. With no formal background in video, it’s been a blast learning to create spaces to provide the viewer with a certain experience.
    As a musician it reminds me so much of a buddy who was excited to play a few songs he wrote…they sounded awful on his iPhone, but was kind. I took him in my home studio and began re-recording a song of his, but professionally.
    His eyes just lit up with excitement from the first guitar take.

    Wide angle is also great for audio, since your subject is closer to the mic (considering it’s not a lav mic)

    Great video! I would also mention "head space". But as you mentioned, putting the eyes on the top horizontal line should create enough headspace, but it's not guaranteed (maybe their head and/or hair is huge! haha). Too much or too little is what to watch out for.

    This would have been useful before the abomination that I put up yesterday! :D Next day I imagined someone watching on a big screen TV so I started researching camera placement.
    So thank you for this!!
    Wanted to ask you, how do you do all the flashy text you have around (like when you talk about the rule of thirds, leadings lines, and negative space). I think that would be the next thing to learn for me to make videos more interesting.

    If I am working on SW that has camera in it should I higher the ISO to get more light then reduce the light after I get my photo out ?
