    Merciful Father, I come before You acknowledging my failings and shortcomings. Forgive me for the times I have fallen short of Your glory, for the words spoken in haste, and for the actions motivated by selfishness. Grant me a contrite heart and a humble spirit, that I may seek reconciliation and restoration. Help me to extend the same grace and forgiveness to others as You have shown to me. Renew my spirit, O Lord, and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. Amen.

    The assumption that Moses and Jethro were white tends to introduce an unnecessary complication. I would agree that Zipporah might have had Nubian characteristics because of a Nubian mother. Be that as it may, she was a descendant of Abraham through her father Jethro and therefore she was Semitic. The seed comes from the father and you take on your father's race. Today, we find Abraham's descendants in most of Africa with African features. The most prominent group being the children of Levi (Lemba's) found in Southern Africa.

      I caution not to add opinion and innuendo to the text. Zipporah was a descent of Cush. She had darker skin. Moses had lighter skin. How much lighter? Does it really matter. What does matter is she was a faithful and obedient wife unto Moses.

    In South india, i have noticed a tribe name is Sambavar. Sambavar means "Sam people" (Generation of Shem) their language is Tamil, one of the ancient language. In Tamil language, pronunciation of Sam is not how we are pronouncing the word "Sam" in english, in English we pronounce "Shem" (the actual person)
    According to some history scholars, Sambavar tribe is generation of Shem who is a son of Noah.
    Sambavar tribe is came from Arbaksath, he is came from generation of Shem(son of Noah).
    .
    Now we are using a name in english which has same meaning of Sambavar word that is " Semitic".
    Sambavar actual perfect meaning word in English is Semitic.
    .
    One more interesting news is
    Apostle Thomas (Disciple of Jesus Christ)
    had came to this Sambavar people (who are living in south India) to preach about Jesus Christ.
    So many Sambavar tribe people were accepted Jesus Christ.
    .
    Conclusion:
    The conclusion according to History scholars is
    SAMBAVAR = SEMITIC

    Moses had two wives. A Midianite woman and later a Cushite or Ethiopian woman.

    • @AdrianDesmond-sh4qp
      @AdrianDesmond-sh4qp 5 месяцев назад +1

      Where in the Bible is there a reference of Moshe or Moses marrying another woman, the Ethiopian or Cushite woman is Zipporah, the Midianites ancestor of Abraham and Keturah - Genesis 25: 2. To be frank with you names and words has been shuffle around to throw off the seeker of truth, like Jethro Moses father n law name is also Reuel and Cushan is Ethiopian Arabian Cush - Habakkuk 3: 7.

    • @sunnyjohnson992
      @sunnyjohnson992 5 месяцев назад

      The word “Cushite” meant that Zipporah was from Arabia, like other Midianites, and not from Ethiopia!
      When Zipporah and her two sons accompanied Jethro back to Moses at the wilderness camp, her newly felt presence provoked Moses’ sister Miriam to jealousy, and she seized upon Zipporah’s Cushite background as an excuse for complaint against Moses. This DOES NOT indicate that Zipporah had died and Moses had remarried an Ethiopian woman, as is commonly contended.

      @AdrianDesmond-sh4qp The Book of Exodus 2 and Exodus 12. And, another ancient manuscript was written by Jewish writer Josephus and others. As well as other Apocryphal texts, which have information that is not in the Bible. Everything is not in the 66 Books of the Bible? You do know that you don't you?

    • @patrickhenry2845
      @patrickhenry2845 5 месяцев назад

      @sunnyjohnson992 The jealousy was towards Moses, not his wife. Being the oldest sister, she felt left out, with her connection to God compared to Moses. She didn't dare criticize her brother Moses, so she shifted her anger towards Moses's wife. God punished her for that with Leprosy. Withdrew that Leprosy by the request of Moses. Miriam, who she was, had to be banished from the camp for several days for her behavior. Women were not known to be Prophets at that time.

      @@patrickhenry2845 First off Josephus isn't reliable for one cause the Bible gives the answer Moses' wife was an Midianite true or false? Second Habakkuk 3:7 gives the answer, Cushan means Ethiopian or Cushite Arabian which Jethro or Reuel lived.
      Third most of the people who lived in the middle east within biblical times were all people of melinated skin tones from ruddy brown to dark black.

    Surprise! Moses did not resemble a European! Three times in the Bible, Jews are mistaken for Egyptians, who are descended from Mizraim, the son of Ham. Moses, Joseph, and Paul were mistaken for Egyptians because Jews in the Bible were brown as Hamitic black people. Zipporah was black -skinned because Jethro was also black- skinned, which is what the word Ethiopian means. The Midianites were descended from Midianite, one of the black sons of Abraham in Genesis 25:1 and 2. The Midianites were black-skinned because Keturah was black-skinned. White people generally hate to admit the Jews were brown-skinned people who loved black women. How do you think the Bride appears as a black woman in the Song of Solomon 1:5? One day, your graphic artist will accurately depict Jews as brown, not white if the artist is an honest individual.

      What you say is somewhat true, but you leave out the part where the Queen of Sheba apologizes to the daughters of Zion for her black, sun baked skin. If the daughters of Zion were already brown or black, would they CARE what color Solomans newest wife would be? I'm as caucasion as one can get but when I work out in the sun all summer my skin can turn black. I have caucasian friends that work resurfacing roads with asphalt and by winter the whole crew are black skinned. We ALL come from Noah who was born bright white. The race of his wife and wives of his sons are the ones in question. But still, what does it really matter? You anxious for religious race wars?

    According to the book of Jasher (the upright ones), Moses after helping to fend of the Amalekites at the well met Ruel's 7 daughters who took him to their fathers tent who put Moses in prison for 10 years, in fear of his neighbours the Cushites. since Moses was famed. Then released him and allowed him to marry Zipporah his daughter at the age of 77 which was was three years prior to going back to Egypt to begin his mission from God with Aaron.
    Book of Jasher
    Chapter 76:12 So Moses went forth from the land of Cush, and went home and ceased to reign over Cush, and Moses was sixty-six years old when he went out of the land of Cush, for the thing was from the Lord, for the period had arrived which he had appointed in the days of old, to bring forth Israel from the affliction of the children of Ham.
    13 So Moses went to Midian, for he was afraid to return to Egypt on account of Pharaoh, and he went and sat at a well of water in Midian.
    14 And the seven daughters of Reuel the Midianite went out to feed their father's flock.
    15 And they came to the well and drew water to water their father's flock.
    16 So the shepherds of Midian came and drove them away, and Moses rose up and helped them and watered the flock.
    17 And they came home to their father Reuel, and told him what Moses did for them.
    18 And they said, An Egyptian man has delivered us from the hands of the shepherds, he drew up water for us and watered the flock.
    19 And Reuel said to his daughters, And where is he? wherefore have you left the man?
    20 And Reuel sent for him and fetched him and brought him home, and he ate bread with him.
    21 And Moses related to Reuel that he had fled from Egypt and that he reigned forty years over Cush, and that they afterward had taken the government from him, and had sent him away in peace with honor and with presents.
    22 And when Reuel had heard the words of Moses, Reuel said within himself, I will put this man into the prison house, whereby I shall conciliate the children of Cush, for he has fled from them.
    23 And they took and put him into the prison house, and Moses was in prison ten years, and whilst Moses was in the prison house, Zipporah the daughter of Reuel took pity over him, and supported him with bread and water all the time.
    Chapter 77:25 And God saw the burden of the children of Israel, and their heavy work in those days, and he determined to deliver them.
    26 And Moses the son of Amram was still confined in the dungeon in those days, in the house of Reuel the Midianite, and Zipporah the daughter of Reuel did support him with food secretly day by day.
    27 And Moses was confined in the dungeon in the house of Reuel for ten years.
    28 And at the end of ten years which was the first year of the reign of Pharaoh over Egypt, in the place of his father,
    29 Zipporah said to her father Reuel, No person inquires or seeks after the Hebrew man, whom thou didst bind in prison now ten years.
    30 Now therefore, if it seem good in thy sight, let us send and see whether he is living or dead, but her father knew not that she had supported him.
    31 And Reuel her father answered and said to her, Has ever such a thing happened that a man should be shut up in a prison without food for ten years, and that he should live?
    32 And Zipporah answered her father, saying, Surely thou hast heard that the God of the Hebrews is great and awful, and does wonders for them at all times.
    33 He it was who delivered Abraham from Ur of the Chaldeans, and Isaac from the sword of his father, and Jacob from the angel of the Lord who wrestled with him at the ford of Jabbuk.
    34 Also with this man has he done many things, he delivered him from the river in Egypt and from the sword of Pharaoh, and from the children of Cush, so also can he deliver him from famine and make him live.
    35 And the thing seemed good in the sight of Reuel, and he did according to the word of his daughter, and sent to the dungeon to ascertain what became of Moses.
    36 And he saw, and behold the man Moses was living in the dungeon, standing upon his feet, praising and praying to the God of his ancestors.
    37 And Reuel commanded Moses to be brought out of the dungeon, so they shaved him and he changed his prison garments and ate bread.
