Thanks for the video. I "lost" my faith when I was eleven, and have been an atheist ever since. But I study the three major religions, and read passages from the KJV Bible every day. As a historian I find it very interesting, and it's certainly contributed a lot to events past and present. I'm now seventy but still amazed at how much I have yet to learn. I find these videos a good springboard for further research. As I say , " I was born ignorant, but don't want to die that way".

I like your presentation, especially the way you match paintings to the story. I thoroughly learned the bible stories in my childhood , but often felt I inwardly heard many details that change the nature of the story. I believe Solomon through Bathsheba understood a new depth that was important. Solomon wanted to lift women up to have a spiritual place, but the Priesthood felt threatened and thus wrote Solomon failed, or was seduced. I think the Song of Solomon is the story of Solomons love of the Queen of Sheba, and it has the story of how the Priests instructed the army to make it appear she brought shame on him. However in the end Solomon and Sheba find each other and live in eternal love. The ideal of men and women becoming a sacred couple is also perhaps initiated by by Jesus and Magdalene with Paul fighting that narrative. Perhaps that is why religion gets caught in depravities of power struggles between men. The sacred couple is always fought by "religion".
