Right? Romulus it didn't need the last 30 minutes or anything with the offspring but it still would've been a fine Alien film without it. I almost called it good when I sensed where it was going with the pregnant character and just walked out Lol

This movie is on hype now since it's still on theaters. Over time it will get the same status as Prometheus or Covenant, which were like "awesome" on its initial release and became obvious they are so forgettable. And this one it's going to be rememebered as a cringy joke. PD: I'm not on any drugs but you can think whatever you please to fulfill your denial, boy, I'm ok with that. Cheers!
Felt the exact opposite. The rest of the movie was good but the third act felt super rushed. We needed alot longer scenes to build more tension. Kay has a baby in lik just 20 seconds and the thing grows from an infant to a huge monster in just 10 seconds. it felt so rushed

Saw the movie about 2 weeks after release, wasn't a full theatre at all, but when we saw the reveal, the gasps and 'WTF"'s that I heard ringing thru the crowd really surprised me considering it was a good amount of time after release. Such a good twist and its a truly disturbing reveal. Really fun movie.
When that thing appeared, I suddenly lost my breath and was frozen in fear. The way I hid behind my hands because of how fucking terrifying this thing is
The whole theater I watched in, which was full house, audibly gasped when it appeared. Heck I thought I could get over my fear of facehuggers, but then something else comes along to add to the list.
Movie was awesome. Personally, I think it was better than 3, Resurrection, and Covenant. Not better than Prometheus and the first two though. I thought all the actors performances were amazing. You don’t see acting like that anymore. Definitely one of the best movies of 2024!!

At least with Prometheus and Covenant Scott took the series into a different direction and delved more into new lore we haven’t seen before, way more original than rehashing what the first 4 movies already did. Shame that most people are basic af

I will say, that would make a near perfect SCP-096 design. Just have to get rid of the secondary mouth, the tail, the back protrusions, and add pale eyes and a mouth that can open wide.
