The rear has leaf springs to support the car. To install a coil over rear suspension a 4 link conversion would have to be installed. A 4 link conversion can be an invasive installation requiring modifying the structure of the car.
Do you guys offer any spring rates below 450? Im looking to upgrade the suspension on my straight six and i dont need super stiff coilovers and shocks like these, and the lowest i could find on your site was 450lb?
For our Mustang and Early Ford Muscle Car kits, we can go lighter on the spring rates. Please give our team a call and we can help you with part numbers. (310)834-7478
1964 T-bird with a 390 we would use Aldan American Kit # 300197 (1963-66) coil over kit. This kit is designed to bolt on and allow the ride height to be adjusted from stock height to 2” of lowering.

Great video! Looking good!!! Nice Mustang!
Nice work ! Why is there no spring ( coil over ) on the rear shock ?

Makes sense ! Thx@@AldanAmerican
Is there any reason this could not be used on a 66 3.3L Mustang?
Our kits will also work on any Mustang 1965-1973
