Muscle Car Lover Gets Surprised With a 1987 Buick Regal Turbo T!
Those as look serviceable which is very nice. Thanks kindly Gary for sharing. Buy American, Buy Aldan!
Thank kindly Gary for sharing this nice example. With a little research, you can find the weight of “Sprung” loads like frame, engine (SBC=600lbs), A-6 compressor= 43lbs, Carb, condenser, radiator, coolant (Water=7lbs per gallon) Alternator. Parts show shipping weight, etc.
Thank you Gary, this helps the individual who is not a suspension expert, but knows what stance they want their vehicle to have. This places the the piston, valving in near the middle of the shocks body. By doing this, allows it to compress on a bump 2”, then rebound 2”, this keeps the shock happy and functioning in the middle. Never bottoms out, never extends with force to full rebound. Shock is happy while the customer gets the best rides once dialed in, and they are happy. Win / Win! Sweet. Thank you kindly Gary for the informative video. Buy American, Buy Aldan. DK, ASE Master since 78.
I love this pickup truck nice and super clean u guys did a good job 👍👍👍👍👍
💪🏼🏁🏁🏁
Two of your wheels are on backwards.
If it was baseball you would be batting 500! The wheels were installed wrong when the car arrived and we did not want to flip and have the tires reversed.
@ hahaha!! We don't really have baseball in this country! Having worked on C4s and pretty much only C4s for a bit over 28 years, it tends to say a bit about a car when you see the wheels on the wrong sides. If they can't get that right what else is going to be done wrong?
@@CaseTheCorvetteMan As Tanya mentioned, a family friend gifted her the car after a while of not being used. She has done some work to get it back up and running and using it for drag racing with her friends. The car can only get better!
@ yep, i did hear that, along with a couple other things mentioned by others such as the aftermarket rear bumper that is fitted to the car. Fixing that wheel problem is a ten minute job for any competent tyre fitter, i won't let Corvettes leave my workshop with wheels on backwards and make that clear to the customer before i decide if i'll do the job they want done or not.
Spoke to my long term friend today and we spoke about years ago tapping out powder coat in a chassis. We both said jimmy shine lol lol
That's hard 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿
It's a sick build!
Very tastefully done. Man this has got to be the best looking Monte Carlo SS ever built. Seriously my boy, this is just right. I know it brings lots of smile time
Couldn't have said it better.
Nice!!!👊🏻🏁
Than you for your support!
She looks real good Otis, great job under the hood bro! I am building the last generation with my 15yr old Son, a 2007 Monte Carlo SS. Just finished the 4T80E Transmission swap. Lots of upgrades and rebuilt the top part of the engine. My son thinks he is helping me to build this car for a customer, he will shit when I hand him the keys when he gets his License. She's won't be the fastest car on the road and she does have flaws because I can't afford to make her perfect, but she has teeth and will definitely be able to hold her own. That LS4 V8 sounds amazing and all the upgrades from OEM is for safety & reliability. Every Gentleman should have a Bowtie... I worked a 2nd job to get my Son his. As long as he treats her like a lady, she'll always get him home. Again, well done 👏 that's a Sinister lookin 88 Monte!
She is awesome but not into the rims and steering wheel but hey u like it all that matters but that motor is pretty dam cool 😎 👌
Sweet gbody 88 SS
So sweet ❤I love it
That is over my son black 86 Monte SS. Stock factory. Happy thanksgiving! DK, Omaha.
Garrett, Thank you for bringing this product to the public with your huge line of spring and shock and coil over packages. That upper control arm has multiple points of adjustment for the vehicles intended purpose. On this thanksgivings day 2024, it is some of the best to fit any project someone is building. Wow! Buy American, buy Aldan. Have a safe time with friends & family. Don’t forget our vets! DK, Omaha. (Folks, I have only positive comments when I turn-buckle style uppers, different lengths pivots, very well designed for any LSA front suspension as this. ) ASE Master, 78
Beautiful evening sunset for sure. Looks warm! Wish I could be there. Thanks kindly for sharing! DK, Omaha.
Thanks for the offering as I build up my wild money. Great looking shirt. ❤ Buy American, buy Aldan! DK, Omaha.
Great video! Im looking for rear coilover options. Very informative.
Nice video
thank you for your support.
@@CutlassVibes God Bless “CutlassVibes”! Have a great Thanksgiving. Stay safe, best of luck with your project! DK, Omaha.
@deankay4434 thank you very much! Same to you happy Thanksgiving.
It's not a 40th anniversary car, that would imply RPO Z25, and it would be Ruby Red inside and out. It is the 40th year of Corvette, but that is not a Z25 car.
The owner of the car called it a 40th anniversary car. The 40th anniversary package is the Ruby Red version with the special emblems.
@@AldanAmerican i know that, i said it in my comment, and i have two of them here.
working on my dads 1955 210 he passed away a few years ago and everytime i work on it i think of him💪
That sounds like a great build - we'd love to see it.

That is a great combination. I built my son a 500hp small block for his 1981 El Co. Two diff’s later it is painted & done!
American made multiple combinations! Buy American, buy Aldan…😮😮
We couldn't have said it better.
@ Thank you guys as we give thanks for the land of the free. It is real tough saving money as I even started a second savings account at our new credit union. This is a car owners money, instead of paying some insurance company to cover car repairs. Life has many surprises as people get injured, family issues, babies born, etc. But you folks have great options and hats off to your design team. I worked on vehicles for 40+ years, taught for ACDelco, tore a rotator cuff 430 miles from home. Drove back, had surgery then my phone rang to tell me I had no job. Dr. said fine as he wanted to pulled the plug on my career. 14 lumbar procedures (4 fusions) but still worked from 7:30AM till 9PM at a dealership. Enough of me! God bless all. Happy thanksgiving! DK, Omaha.
Now your vehicle can ride like the 21st century with almost 20 different combinations for your 60’s farm truck to grandmas grocery getter! Front or Rear of both. Aldan can talk you thru the options so you don’t break the bank! Best of luck with everyone’s projects. Keep that American iron alive. Don’t forget that many state recognize “Historical” vehicles 30 years or older. Never pay for tags & taxes again. Buy American, buy Aldan!
This gives an opportunity to meet anyone budget. Single adjustable shock to dual adjustment. Coil over choice to spring packages that fit the shock and stock upper spring pocket on your current frame as the older cars, just starting by upgrading your ride feel! Engine swap, added A/C then save up and advance to a higher end package plus the rear. Springs are high-end alloys from 300 rate to 750 rate for big block, LS swap, etc. Buy American, buy Aldan. Retired ASE Master.
thank you for your support.
I love the products you offer and the quick response from customer service. I am saving up to purchase! It is worth it but disabled and forced into retirement doesn’t pay well. But trying to save up for my project. Thank you kindly for sharing and the current offerings. God bless! ASE Master tech since 78. I love Aldan suspension parts!
❤
Thanks kindly for sharing both Craig and Gary! I’ll be looking forward to Craig’s channel. Learning never stops. DK, Omaha.
Gary, Thanks for bringing these American made problem solving products to the market. Many 60’s - 70’s muscle cars and pickups never came with power steering, so adding positive caster helps those who want it proved a better driving experience. After all, this makes it more fun as these are meant to be driven. “Aldan, products for a better road ahead.” Regards and thanks kindly for sharing. DK, Omaha.
What have you got for 98 deville to. Improve the stock ride ?
We do not offer anything for the Deville at this time.
Stock or dropped, the “Hot Rod Supply” with Justin can set your ride height and set compression and rebound to fit each customer in that stratified category. What a great story. DK, Omaha, NE. ASE Master
Wow, I thought it was a Buick Grand National. My god I work a number of those, bringing memories of the cam sensor adjustment that took the place of the distributor. Set to zero and retard 8 degrees to place in the 180 MPH range! But very nice car w/factory Tee-Top. Very nice guys. Thanks “Aldan” for great American products for Americans that enjoy near perfection with hard earned money can buy! Thank you kindly for sharing! DK, Omaha. 😊
Good work.Which drill bit are you using because I've tried some titanium and did work to good. 👍
Did not work to good
I use a typical 3/8” high speed steel drill bit.
Thanks I was using harbor freight bit did not work, then I got me a Dewalt brand bit and it went straight through .
Good stuff!!!
Thanks Gary for sharing! To Everyone at “Aldan”, have a safe and enjoyable thanksgiving!
These F-100's are beautiful trucks! I just posted a video of this beautiful purple one I recently saw. Really love the grille and overall front end design. They have such a cool aggressive look to them. Really enjoyed the video and I just subscribed! Thanks for posting.
Gary, thanks for the information and I hope customers work with a good alignment shop & talk to the tech directly. After all, taking a 50-60 car or pickup is completely different specs than just 20 years ago. Toe is a visual inspection by you as tire tread wears. Frames can flex or twist, while Aldan components are stiffer than OEM parts. Roads have a crown to drain water off to the edge. Often, extra “Caster” is added on the passenger’s side as it overcomes a rougher road, but rides smoother. Tilting the top in is negative “Chamber” and some use this to push the vehicle towards the drivers side to offset road crown. This is fractions of an inch as machines use degrees of which a circle is 360. So, 0.3 degrees negative Chamber on right with 0.0 degrees on the left. Alignment machine store OEM specs, not new specs for updated vehicles. So ask questions, talk to the tech, get a printout, inspect tire tread for abnormal wear after. But on flat inner concrete lanes, loosen your grip on the steering wheel and it should run straight. Listen for noise and don’t be after to back to the shop for new adjustments. Thanks kindly Gary for sharing! DK, Omaha. ASE Master since 78.
This truly ingenious and soon to be a favorite of builders, installers and alignment technicians everywhere. Look how easy this is to simply increase or decrease the required “Chamber” and “Caster” adjustment to make the muscles cars & trucks of the 60’s, 70’s to create the ride profile of a 2020+ vehicle. The only thing left to choose is the right coil over shock that completes the ride & handling you have always wanted at any speed. This is super cool design! Thanks kindly for sharing & bringing this to the marketplace. DK, Omaha. NE. ASE Master tech, 78.
Black anodized is a protective process with chemicals similar to nickel plating until the mid 30’s when chrome plating was standardized. Regular aluminum and polished is available in certain shock series, but if adjust spring seat, use a copper or aluminum based anti seize on the shocks body where the nut rides. Thanks to the people at “Aldan.” DK, ASE Master since 78.
I want one of those kits for my Maverick. I'm from Venezuela.
check out the kit here: Part #300124 aldanamerican.com/product/suspension-package-ford-maverick-1970-1977-front-and-rear/
Just ordered a set front and rear for My 78 El Camino! Just put 2 inch drop spindles on the front. and new US mag 18 rear and 17 front! want to get the rear a little lower and stiffen up the front. The new wheels hit the inner fender well when I hit a bump going down hill. Hope this fixes it.
Love you coil overs have them on my chevelle they are one best
Thank you for your support! If you have time leave a review on our website.
Thanks Garrett for wonderful 40% off. I wish I could swing a decent purchase and will look into it over the weekend. I have $350 payment for a sacral-iliac bilateral injection Monday, then a possible pain-pump install discussion on next Thursday. Wife needs $300 per eye for Glycoma surgery two weeks apart. Sorry to start your “Black Friday” sale in this way but rest assured. I will tell everyone! ASE Master since 78. You guys have great products and great customer service. Thanks kindly for sharing.
Using the tires you want, remove shocks, add sand bags if changing engines, adding A/C, add weight or remove as needed then measure top extended length and compression plus add about 1” or so, measure and take notes. Make your call and you have information to determine spring rate and shock type with length. They will help you pick equipment for a great ride & look to turn all heads. Thank you kindly Garrett for sharing.
Are these coil overs good for drag racing also?
Our shocks are not designed specifically for drag racing. However, we do have customers that run them and have been very successful for the last 40 years. We also have a lot of street/strip cars running on Aldan's.
I installed the single adjust front and rear kit in my 71 chevelle .it is absolutely awesome ,and i mean everything about it from the purchase to the simple install . Thank you alden american
Thank you for your support. We'd love to hear from you! Please leave us a review on our website and we'd love to send you something.
I honestly think trucks are the hardest to get right. Like the video, dial in the ride height first to get the look and comfort somewhat, then move compression 1 click or 3. Just stay consistent and write it down. Go for rebound afterwards. During test drives, note if you hit a raised bump, or if pavement is damaged on you fall into a hole. This is the worst so making sure suspension is tight & right, remember the wheel speeds up when rolling into a hole, then slows down coming out. Hitting the bottom is compression adjustment (Perhaps gentle) as it comes out, then the shock enters rebound or extension. This could be higher. You just have to spend time & be consistent or start over. And remember, there is no one setting to fit all. God bless, Thank-you kindly Gary for the words of a great American with a beautiful color combo in/on his truck!
I agree, could add the advantage of coil over shocks is it is the ability to adjust ride height and a wide variety of shock lengths and spring choices.
Nice c10! What wheels and tire size are you running?
US Mags - “Bullet” 22 x 9 front on 255/35-22 22 x11 rear on 305/45-22
