Aldan is next level stuff 🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻 changed from QA1 to Aldan on our Chevelle after we couldn’t get it to hook at the track. Installed the Aldan coilovers on the front and rear, and it hooked up right out of the box! Aldan American is the only way to go 😎
This is a strategy that is lost to new racers and some trying hard to lower their track times. By increasing the compression rate on the rear, and decreasing compression rate on the front, it affects weight transfer off the line. The pinion gear wants to climb the ring gear, twisting the rear axle housing down. If you spent money on a stiff 4-Link, this pushes the back of the car forward. With a reduced front compression rate on the front, both in stance and less hydraulic pressure, it quickly allows weight transfer forward allowing for better tire hookups on the rear. This where the lower tire pressure Micky Thompson developed in the 60’s and dragsters, funny cars and track builds benefited from as well. Having Aldan’s longer spring, shock stroke and adjustable compression come in to reduce actual track times. Congratulations on your project.

@@deankay4434 I like the way you explained that. I learned a lot from just your comment. Thanks Man!
