Awesome video. This is going to come in handy in 6 years when I finally finish drawing and re-drawing my model over and over. Bookmarking it until then. Thank you! 😩
this is amazing! thank you for making this! ive been making models for a while, but ive always struggled with hair. this video was very simple and direct, so it was super easy to follow. it helped a lot!!
Good vid. I was super sick of skimming 15 hour videos trying to glean literally anything of value. Vids like this should be at the top of search results...
Thank you for the video! It was reaaally helpful and I understood so much thanks to you. But perhaps, someone or you can help, because after some skinning it suddenly stopped working. Problem: When I go at modeling->skinning->create parameter, the parameters are added at already existing keyframes/parameters. It only creats a new empty folder, but the connectino is to an old parameter, which defines another strand. That wouldn't be that big of a problem if the physics would recognize the new "false connected" strand with the old keyframes, but the strand won't move. I already checked the parameter-settings, but there were no duplicates of IDs or sth. I already googled it and looked for it at the official discord server but nobody could help. Are you familiar with this? I don't know, what to do. (Sorry for my missspelling perhaps, I try to improve my english.)
if I understand correctly, you might want to try changing the name of the generated skinning parameters to something very different to any other parameter you've created and see if that works out I'm not sure why it happens but sometimes if a parameter is named similarly it will assign it to them instead of new parameters

i love the non-skinned hair physics, so simple and easy to create while looking great!
omg! This is going to be so helpful when I start rigging my own model!! Thank you!! :,3

do you need paid version to do this?
the beginner version will be keeping to the free version limitations as much as possible!
