Hi bruno, for the alfa 156,wich type of bulb is for the fog light?great job,as always, thanks
Hello. It's exactly the same fog lights and bulbs for the 156 and 159. H1.
@@alfaromeonoproblem thank you for answer
They are different on the 159. Or at least on the restyled 159. There is no wide clip on the bottom, just a long narrow one. I broke the top small one and the bottom one that holds the metal clip. -_-
But I finally received the new original Trust foglights from the UK. Was not cheap...
I'm not aware of a modification. And I did replace them at all M.Y.
How do I do this on a Alfa Romeo 147 Series 2? Is it the same process and what size bulb is it ?
Hello. Very few of those in Portugal. Cannot say how it's done. But my guess is that it is the same
Hi boss, can i follow the steps you did on my 156?
Hello. Absolutely.
But just in case:

Excellent thanks very much
Hello. Thank you very much for watching
Which brand are the original ones? I think mine are also Trust, or some similar name. On my 159, the chrome is gone on the bottom of the fog lights. I will replace them both, but the thing is, original ones are not easy to find. I managed to find them in the UK, but the shipping to Serbia is high, so total price is 105 Euro a peice. But I will order them anyway...
Also, that looks like H1 bulb, but the manual says H7???
Trust ware in fact the lady suppliers. Not the best. Before that was carello.
@@alfaromeonoproblem Thanks.
@@alfaromeonoproblem Well those fog lights are in fact TYC, just overcharged to make them seem original. I did not buy them. Two dealers in Serbia refused to order the original ones for me, due to Stelantis taking over the ownership, so they are not sure about the delivery time and the price. And they said that I should wait a month or two and then ask them again. The guy who repairs headlighs says that it is not worth doing the rechroming on my fog lights, and that it would cost about 100 Еurоs for just one. I was not able to find good used ones. I was only able to find one original in the UK, but it is just one and I need two...
Are DEPO and TYC realy that bad, that I should not even buy their fog lights?
@DashCamSerbia in Portugal original ones are not available anymore. And aftermarket only tyc and depo. Unfortunately there is no choice here.
@@alfaromeonoproblem I dont know what to do. The original ones (if I can get them) are (quoted) 140 and 250 a piece, from the two dealers. The Depo and TYC are about 40. I mean, they can't be that bad? I do want the best performance from the fog lights, I already have OSRAM Night Breaker Laser +150% for them. And winter is comming soon. So I think I will just buy DEPO ones, and see if they are OK. For the price, they can at least serve as temporary solution.
The alfa romeo 156 sedan has 2 rear fog lights or just 1?
Hello. It has two. And two back lights.
@@alfaromeonoproblem ty for response
@dualelite2573 thanks for watching
Do you have a vid on how to remove the scudetto on the 156 fl? Great video btw
Hello. Not yet, but you need to remove the bumper and then you have the screws behind the scudetto.
@@alfaromeonoproblem yeah, i saw the screws and was hoping there was another way lol. Thank you very much have a nice day!
Thank you. Removing this bumper is not the worse thing, but a bummer non the less. Keep watching!
@Alfa romeo? No Problem! Can i ask you one tip? I Have 156 2.0 ts 114kw and when the car is cold the revs when i press clutch or stop on the crossroad the revs drop down and up few times, what could it be, i changed maf, thermostat, cleaned the butterfly and it keeps on doing. Thanks for your tips
Hello. Thanks for watching. It can be a number of reasons. Bad timming, bad MAF, bad oxigen sensor. But with age the pcv valve is the the one that falles the most.
I forgot to ask, is subframe rusty on those cars?
Hello. Here in Portugal no. But I know is prone to it in different countries.
@@alfaromeonoproblem Thanks.
Good to know, for future.
Yeah, Depo is bad quality manufacturer.
Thank you very much. Yes, and I have to deal with that every day.. so bad
