I was into "well, for a hard to kill human maybe a Champion fighter class and vengance Palladin" but your build is way more powerfull, flexible and represents well the power ups. So, once again CONGRATS!
It always really bothers me when people make him a paladin. You can't smite on ranged or unarmed attacks, and he doesn't use melee weapons all that often.
First, sorry I missed launch. I was busy. Second, I saw my request at the end and that is about the single most awesome thing to happen today. Third... DAMN! This build went off! I was kind of halfway expecting some kind of convoluted Armor Master Artificer build maybe mixed with Ranger. This one was just... *chef's kiss* perfect. Loved it!
What a cool build, next time I play a space version of Dungeons and Dragons I definitely got to do this build. Also I'd be very interested to see you tackle Shadow from the Eminence in Shadows.
That is actually a really sick build! I always wonder how someone should approach these things within an actual campaign setting, as a lot seems to only really come to place on higher levels and such. Been thinking of doing something similar, but with the Witch Hunter from Warhammer Fantasy, but it feels like most of those ideas don't work till at least level 5 or later.
I went human variant, took sentinel feat, went heavy focus on barbarian path of berserker, and a few levels in paladin to get oath of vengeance. Second feat is great weapons master. Background wild spacer for tough.
i would have taken artificer artilerist instead of ranger. freeing up the gunner feat for heavy armor prof, as Arties get Fire arm prof any way. thats how you also get the shoulder cannon. just drop the ranger MC all together
This build is wrong. He’s clearly a level 140 Fighter/Barbarian/Paladin/Artificer/Cleric/Warlock/Ranger. Level 20 in all classes, perfect 20 in all stats.
Can you make the black knight from Monty Python sometime in the near future? I'm not asking for it for the next video, as you might have something planned already.
Fun build. But this build will not rip and tear. My recommendation is to sacrifice some of the flavor to make a character who can rip and tear. A fighter, barbarian, ranger can rip and tear. Alternatively, the Pathfinder 2e system can make a Doom Slayer who can rip and tear without the need to compromises the theme. When I first started playing DnD 5e, one of my first characters was a gladiator named John Paul the Swift (mobile feat). He sucked at fighting and combat. I've had fun playing joke characters before, but making a serious character that turns into a joke is not fun. If you want to play a incompetent character that thinks he is bad a** (which would be hilarious) this is the build for you.
Had to pull of a triple multiclass to make a full blown fiend destroying machine that is the DOOM Guy
What edition is this
@@sambass8073 I've been seeing you comment all over, all of my builds are 5th edition
Do you know that feeling in the upper part of your heart when someone you like does something that just makes you purely happy?
If you're saying my video did that, then I feel very special 😁
Not your video, *YOU* made me feel that and you should feel very very special
That's called a heart attack and you should go get that checked out 😆
Anyone else notice the sneaky Quake footage.
Glad someone noticed lol

I always went with artificer(artillerist)4, barbarian(zealot)4, fighter(Battlemaster)12 for my build of him.
I was tempted to grab some barbarian but that would interfere with heavy armor, since you can only rage in medium armor or less.
@@dndbuilds I completely understand, I try to get admantine half plate with buffs from the artificer because he has his guns out in eternal.

What a great video. I like to think Giants might would be the rage rune thing from the doom game that quadruples your damage or whatever

Dr doom would be cool to see
Some backgrounds are so much better than others. I mean intergrated Tough feat is wild.
YES! Can't wait!
Good, this one turned into a triple multi-class and plenty of fun
Gonna try adopt this for bg3, thanks heaps!

i was waiting for this
I'm happy this one's finally up 😁

But the int 13 is a bit harder to snag.
Kinda surprised that Barbarian was left out.

@@dndbuilds that's true. But when you got to Paladin all made sense.
Nice
Very nice
Really enjoy your videos! I know you did an Ichigo one from bleach a bit back, but are you going to be doing an Aizen one?

Could you do the Mandelorian?
Insane I was thinking artificer for all the gear he gets but you weren’t focusing on that you were making a fiend mashing god
I would love to see you try and build Trafalgar Law from One Piece next!
Growing big, could represent the Beserker Power Up. Especially as tend to favour brawling when berserk.
Hmmm how about animal hybrid swim and carapace might help a lot
Human (Variant - Gunner) Fighter Brute 13 Paladin Devotion 7
I was kind of thinking berserker barbarian and artillerist artificer.
wouldn't we use the pathfinder game for this and start from ranger?
i have a homebrew class i made with a friend that would be perfect for the DG, but this is definately a great dnd convertion, good job!
Can you make the black knight from Monty Python sometime in the near future? I'm not asking for it for the next video, as you might have something planned already.
What if you use variant human instead of normal human, and what if you choose warlock instead of paladin?
Captain Yami from Black Clover build?
Anyone got a copy of Doom: Assault On Armaros Station?
Could you make ragna the bloodedge from blazblue or sol badguy from guilty gear
I don't see Unarmed Fighting in the Fighting Style list, I'm using the player's handbook. Is it a feat or something?
Unearthed Arcana
Pretty sure it was added in either Xanathars or Tashas books.
Cloud Rune = monster infighting. Enough said.
Considering that the doom slayer can kill the creator of the creator of the multiverse… you can’t really make him
I’m watching this to make him as my bbeg my players are not going to be happy
This is awesome! Can’t wait to try this out. Okay okay, but what about a Robocop build??? 👀👀
Build rimuru tempest
How about: "Dante from Devil may Cry in DND"?
Can you do an scp 049 plague doctor build?
Kinda ironic how the first Doom game was created because John Karmak and Co played DnD campaign.
He should be a fighter. And conquest paladin
