Whether you're going with references from X-Men, Wolverine, Comics, Cartoons, Video Games or even Deadpool himself this should be a solid way to recreate the character in Dungeons & Dragons (DnD 5th edition).

I appreciate the "maximum effort" you put into this build. Very cool.
I was hoping someone would pull out that line
What's funny is that this bard build would actually be playable as an offensive support that bounces back super easily and is overall really beefy due to regeneration plus your bonus action weapon attack.
I could also see it working as Warlock (Not sure which subclass, but you could play around with it a bit) solely because in the movie THAT'S how he gets his powers, by making a "pact" with the villain and you could reskin eldritch blast as his bullets
I would love it if Ryan Reynolds played D&D with this build. 😂
Ok i'm gonna go ahead and try out this build.
This build sounds bad ass.
Please do! I love hearing people are going to use my builds
@@dndbuildsHere we go I going for it.
@@professormadlad7773update?
That is one of the most accurate build ive seen! Great job!
Bard makes so much sense but he is also an assassin as part of his merc-ness.
incredible as aways 😄
Thanks!!!
great build my one nit pick as a fan of comicbook deadpool is the lack of teleportation. Dimension Door could have been a solid option. Other than that bravo sir and good job.
Since he usually uses a device for it, I didn't include it, but it could be as straight forward as swapping far step for one of his magical secrets
@DnD Builds In retrospect this could also be alleviated with the Ring of Teleportation.
So I recant my previous nitpick.
Solid build sir, well done
Who's here after watching Deadpool 3
I'm loving that metal take on Take on Me in the background
Great video! I think Senator Armstrong from metal gear rising revengeance would be a cool character to build
This
I made a senator Armstrong build using armorer artificer and bladesinger Multiclass. Armorere artificer let's your punches deal thunder damage and bladesinger ups your ac by a lot. Additionally you can also cast shield as a reaction. Which is literally a "nanomachines son" moment xD.
Another enjoyable video.
Some other characters that I hope you consider making DnD build videos for are Danny Phantom(from the Nickelodeon animated series) and the 4 main characters of the anime series Konosuba(Kazuma, Aqua, Darkness aka Dustiness Ford Lalatina, and Megumin).
I would love to se you try to make Zora from Black Clover. I always liked that style of playing, as a magical trapper/rune master. My attempts of making a version of him didn't go so well.. 😅
As someone who has just got into dnd(watching for a while but just started playing) it would be nice if you could make a video explain kind of how different parts of character creation happen or when you make a character what you are thinking about. Also I am having a hard time figuring out what actually is a race or class so that would be nice
I have been planning to do a video series about exactly that for a while now, it's just been taking me way too long. But I promise I will make one at some point
@@dndbuilds that would be amazing, because it is a lot
A race is like your subspecies (elf, dwarf, etc.) It's WHAT you are in a physical sense, whether you're a human or some kind of magical creature.
Class is like a job: think of it as your character's "college major." It determines what kind of powers or skills you have and where they come from. Some examples of these are Rogue, Fighter, or Wizard.
The biggest difference between the two, mechanically, is that you pick a single race when you make a character, and it never changes. Because it's just an innate trait of your biology.
You can take class levels Ala carte. Think of them like semesters of college - you might choose to focus on creative writing one year and then history the next, for instance. Or you might focus entirely on one or the other the whole time you're at school.
So each time you get a level you can choose which class you want to dedicate that level to. The level cap in 5e is 20, but most campaigns end well before then: you should talk to the DM about what level range to expect.
An example: someone might choose to start the game at level 1 as a Warlock, and when they level up they can either become a level 2 Warlock, or they can become level 1 in another class as well. So they could "take a level" in Bard and be Bard 1 and also Warlock 1, for a total level of 2.
Each class has an entry in the player's handbook that tells you what abilities it gives you at each level.
@@sumanoskae ok my next question is there are the base races but then I have heard about others
@@star14604 What I think you're asking is if there are more races besides what you see in the player's handbook? Yes, there are.
Not sure what your level of familiarity is, but one thing to remember is that D&D always gets released in pieces.
There's the core rules you need to run the game, which get published in 2 books: The Player's Handbook (PHB) and the Dungeon Master's Guide (DMG).
The PHB comes with a selection of common fantasy races - your elves, your halflings; the works. But there are a bunch of expansion packs for D&D: books with extra, optional content. They don't contain anything you NEED to run the game; they have new monsters, alternate rule options, and yes, new options for players in the form of new spells, new sub-classes, and new races.
Example: Changelings are a playable race; they can shapeshift, that's their gimmick. But they aren't in the PHB - the rules for how to play them are in an expansion called Eberron (I believe.)
The races that are in the PHB are sometimes CALLED the base races, but there is no mechanical distinction between them and the races published in other books. It's just a reference to whether or not they were part of the game since its inception.
I mea fighter is right there....swords, gunslinger, etc
this build is definitely gonna be an interesting one to play, might have to give it a go and see what happens.
i'd definitely love to see if you'd be able to set up a build around Goro Majima or Kazuma Kiryu from the Yakuza series if possible at some point
Update?
I kinda wanna see a cosmic ghost rider build or a regular one based on the undead warlock
Would love if you could do Saber Artoria Pendragon from fate stay/night!
I wonder what Kumoko from “so im a spider so what?” would be formatted into dnd. Me and my friend are trying a version we made ourselves but i wonder how it would be made by people who know more than us.
Though you’ll lose a couple spells I’d add at least 3 levels in rouge for the assassin sub class.
I'm hoping you can make an acnologia build from fairy tail. I like the idea for the concept of his character and I would like to see how you come up with him I have a lot of good ideas for it but I just want to see what another person thinks
But you can use your offhand with two weapon fighting as a bonus action anyway so valor is useless in that context
I would go with bard too
enjoyable video however I would've gone College of Swords
so this is the metagaming build
Perfect.
Have ever thought of doing a Hulk D&D build?
sabretooh one day?
Awesome series, is the dragon born possible
As in the Skyrim dragon born?
I think the benders from Avatar: The Last Airbender and Legend of Korra could be cool or just airbending if not all of them
Because of recent events w/ WOTC, maybe you could do some Pathfinder 2e builds?
Just until Wizards learns their lesson
I do have a video coming out where I plan to mention that, I just need to really dive into Pathfinder before I can even consider doing that, because I'm definitely a Pathfinder newbie
Why not just not use the new rules? (Or whatever new they implemented)
I think kirby would be very hard to make a build for
Can you make madara in dungeons and dragons
Do you think a build like this is possible in baldurs gate 3?
You can have something similar, but you would have to go with college of swords instead of college of valor
@dndbuilds thank you so much! I'm gonna try it out asap
Do you pick up potent cantrip at some point?
I would’ve just gone full champion fighter
Think you can do a Wilson Fisk / King Pin? or Jack Nappier /The joker?
I would pick Sword C. Bard, since the inspiration works on the character. DP is charismatic but not a great team leader
How can i make Deathshot or deathstrok from DC Comics?
I wonder what musical instruments Deadbard would play… oh I know
ruclips.net/video/sv7uG_ht69g/видео.html
Can you do death from puss in boots 2 pls
🥑
Lol that’s been the rule for RUclips if you want your video monetized
Yeah, they just did some additional updates and expanded it a bit lol but I just thought it was funny
Yeah they just changed it recently and retroactively to no swearing in the first 8 seconds, previously it was no more than 1-2 swears allowed in the first 30 seconds.
I don't really see Wade as charismatic
Wow, I'm impressed somebody has that opinion but it is yours to have
@@lejandario7779 unlike Ryan Reynolds, who has tons of charisma, Wade is universally reviled, hated and viewed with disgust, distrusted and disliked, with very limited exceptions which is mostly Vanessa in comics and movies.
even if he's not well liked, he still has insanely witty comebacks, and one liners. I think the fact that he knows he's in a comic, he's trying to actually entertain the reader, and less the people in the story, because of the awareness of reality. Leading to his charisma being a bit more valid.
@@dndbuilds Is that really charisma? or just an appropriate skill proficiency (performance maybe?) if he completely lacks social aptitude?
You know charisma isn’t just looks……. right?
I'm really not seeing how you equate "annoying as hell" with "charismatic." Seriously.
I do 😂
