- Well this is it. The one and only track test on the 1990 CR125 rebuild. Was hoping to get to ride it more, but the bike was bought after i took it for a couple of laps. Runs great and the new owner is very happy. I will let you all know at a later date where the bike is now and what the new owner is doing with it.
Sweet CR125, sounds and looks really good.
Damn, that thing was worth 6500-7500 all day long!! I see this was in 2019 and now that we are in 2023 it would be worth even more!! There is not a 125 that sounds better than an HPP CR on the pipe!! These hondas are freakin legendary!!!
My great congratulations for this Amazing bike... Excuse me for my english, i'm italian, very very nice bike. I love 80/90 2stroke bike, i have yz 125 89, Kx 250 90 but is no in this conditions. Thanks for this experience, byeee
thankyou
Didn't even have to list it ! Bittersweet, but on to the next one . Great work !
The bike of my youth.
I've really enjoyed watching this build . To sell it like that was a great compliment on your skills and the presentation of the the bike good luck with your next build .
Thankyou. Looking forward to the YZ490 build next year, already have 2k in parts on their way.
bike looks great nice work....that is how selling a bike should be quick and simple...lol congrats ..on to the next build....
And yet another build that came out awesome! Nice work 👍
Love the sound of a well tuned 2 stroke !! Beautiful bike.
Looks great and sounds great for being a little rich too. You did an awesome job on it!!!! Great video!!!!
Really is a thing of beauty great job on the restoration 👍
I enjoyed your build and riding video! I do something similar reviewing old bikes on my channel. They are a blast. I just sold my restored 93 CR 125 to start a 87 CR 125 build. It was sort of like your situation, mine sold in three days after listing it but I was fortunate to race it for a couple years. Keep up the great work and videos!
nice
Sweet build for sure
Absolutely awesome job and congrats on the sale.. It kind of says alot when bike sells the first day out for that kind of money. I really respect what you do to these old bikes.. Now lets see some 89 cr125 videos! I have two of them im working on slowly.
Winter now. Not sure I will get to ride or work on my 89
I hear you but that's ok, it will be worth the wait. Keep up the great work an thanks for all the vids.
Your channel is great. I grew up with late 70s to mid 80s bikes. Love the look and feel of them. After '96 somewhere, I loose the passionate interest. I enjoy my 2010 Gasgas ec300 but it's more of a dirtbiking tool than a fetish like my old (stolen) husky 610te was. I would never be able to get things done at your rate and at your level. And probably would have major problems coming round to selling. Every bike or car I've owned and sold - I've regretted selling.
Love that build. I miss that sweet 2 stroke sound.
i just finished a 1996 cr125r.. came out nice..
Good job, on to the next build
as easy as that! looks fantastic
Great job looks and sounds awesome
Loved watching every episode of this restoration, great that the bike sold so easily for you also. Have you got another one planned?
Already ordering the parts for next year's 1983 YZ490

Ya I have my own 125 so all is good.
Amazing restoration! Where did you get the plastic kit from? Cant find a new set for my 1990
Ufo plastics usa
WOW!! It looks great!
Thank you. Build cost video comes out in a few minutes
Awesome. Hope my 92 husqy does the same when it's done. Congrats!
Sounds great!
Vey cool bike but they do cost a lot to rebuild. $3000 into mine and I still have to rebuild the suspension and get the cylinder plated. I'll be keeping mine though.
I hear you. Part are very expensive i am fortunate enough to be able to pick my parts up in the USA but the exchange rate is brutal.
Beautiful! I have a 91. I’d love to add that one to my stable! What’s the price on this bike?
Bike sold for 4k
Is there a nut and bolt package you can get for those bikes I’m n the middle of doing my 90 n am going to do exactly what you’ve done. I’m missing a lot of the screws and bolts but that’s the way o got it any help would b apprwciated
Yes Steel frame from BOLT.
Easiest sale yet probably!
Yes it was but most of my bikes sell within days.
TNT MoTo rebuilds and jeeps those bike so beautiful he can sell right at the track😂😂
Do you have any bikes for sale now or in the near future?
Not right now but my yz490 should be done in the next few months.
Nice bike. Last vid you said you have 3000. Into it. And probably sell for 2000. Now this vid you told the guy you have 4000.00 into it. And want the 4000.00. The guy gave you full amount wow. Smart business man
Last video I said i thought i had 3k into it and i would get 2k. This video i know i have 4k i to it. Next bud will be the cost breakdown. This bike has gone somewhere special. If the seller allows me i will take a photo of it's new home.
Well, I feel better now about the $2500 I have into my '87 CR125. It's really hard to know when to stop spending is'nt it?
I try to keep track as i go along but it adds up fast.
How long did this restoration take?
@@user-qg5lj9oh1t6 months. My regular job takes 12 hours of my day so not alot of time to work on the bike each day
Ive looked around an cant find the fender can u put a link in the comments for please
ufoplasticusa.com/new/index.php
@@TNTMOTO thank u
where do you sell your bikes what site ????????
Craigslist and local facebook groups
How did u get the exhaust to fit properly?
Never did. The silencer tube slides over the expansion tube up to the flange which is about 1/2 inch from where it should be. Then the rubber connector over top. It works fine but not the perfect scenerio. I'm guessing honda kept the expansion chamber the same for years but changed the subframe silencer mount. The silencer I have is probably one again not the right one for this specific year.
How much you charge for Restore my Honda cr125
Sorry I am too busy to restore anything but my own.
Idk man she sounds pretty crisp to me.
After I said that I took it out again and I think the rings seated was running and idling perfect.
That's got to be the most dangerous mx track in my life. Trees on the track wtf
Yes it can be. Someone actually died hitting the big tree on the back straight. Its native leased land so no cutting down any trees.
What does something like that sell for?$
Sold for 4k cad
the throttle is the right hand twist it :)
You don't twist a throttle on a brand new never broke in motor or it will be in the same condition as when i bought it. :)
супер
What did you get for it $
$185
@@TNTMOTO I'm in Australia love watching your build s 185?
@@jackfox693 Oops thought you said what did i get it for. I sold it for 4k
@@TNTMOTO but you put more in to it didn't you mate
@@jackfox693 About $150 more. I have a cost break down video under playlists that shows everything'
Wow 4k$ is a lot of $ for a bike that old, I know it nice but u can buy a bike 15 years newer than that 😯
Not the same. Its about the nostalgia. It's like owning a brand new 2 door sedan and owning a 57 bel air.
I mean 25 years newer
New. 9k to 10k. Used 3k to 5k. Older restored bikes are becoming popular.
Learn how to ride a 125 let alone a dirt bike
51 years old, broken back, first lap on a brand new motor not yet broke in and the bike was sold. Sorry you did not enjoy the video. I have over 150 videos on my channel, maybe one of those would be more to your liking. Thanks for watching.
