Beautiful ole bike. Had no idea a 125 could rip like that. That bodybuilder dude is a madman. He's definitely got some riding skills. I wish someone would pay me to test ride bikes.
Man, Ken.. You did the same thing with that '91 KX 125 a month ago.. Shows your skill levels for sure.. The 500's are just straight up brutes, but you THROW these smaller bores around like nothin'.. 🏁🇺🇸🏁
When I travel to America this is no doubt the first place I'm going to visit. I'm a owner of 17 bikes everything from dirt bike to big bore road bikes this place locks like heaven on earth 😎
I've seen my fair share of talented riders over the year, since I was 5, and I'm 49 now! Ken's better than my Dad, and My Dad would have no problem admitting that. Dad was damn good though...quite a bit smaller than Ken. About 175 lbs, and he threw them around like Ken. I don't think Dad understood the phrase, "Don't go faster, then what your angels can fly, like Ken says." Awesome and Valid Phrase. Lol....Honestly, when Dad was young, I think he could have gotten as good as Ken, with enough practice, and the right trainers. He was 150 lbs, when he was young, and fearless like Ken and Jr.
scooped up a 2002 Kx125 fully restored, with Tom Morgan 144cc race motor, V3 reeds, Fatty Pipe, and shorty !!! Tow hitch on S.U.V. just got installed, so now just waiting on my rack and i can actually start riding again for first time in 20 plus years!! and your channel was instrumental in having me make this decision !!!
Love watching you rip these bikes like the way they should be. Nothing better than a 2 stroke. Proud owner of a 1985 Honda H100s myself. ☺️ It's small but still a beast of a bike.
Had a 91 cr250 and absolutely loved it, minus the suspension but i was young and thought i didn't need it re valved. Boy if i knew then what i do now! Love it beautiful bike great video as always. I love seeing the older bikes from you guys. They are always pristine and make my mouth water
I remember watching Lorusso in the late 80’s at Southwick, he was fast! my childhood friend from Newton rode a YZ80 as an Expert, and then a short stint in the 125 expert class. However, the YZ80 my buddy rode was possessed, in fact he would take the hole shot against the 125’s at times. Such great memories as a kid watching so many fantastic riders of the day. Can’t wait for the reopening!!
Your videos just popped up on my RUclips favorites and I cant stop watching you ride like a boss and every color scheme of a bike you ride bring back a memory keep up the good work, I'd love to visit your dealer someday
Iv still got an autographed picture of Pat Barton on my wall from when i was a kid. My father knows his brother an actually had my 92 RM250's engine rebuilt by one of his friends way back when. That dude can ride
I’m over 13 years Sober but have always been on the Pipe or wanted to be ;) My 2000 Cr 250r is the weapon of choice for a while now and just about done her complete redo .. I love that sweet wicked girl we fit like a a throttle hand in a glove hooked on giver 😱😂😍🥰 Thanks for the video !
Man your starting to make me want another Honda . Cr 125 on the list . Love the size of the 125 just an absolute rocket 🚀! Another beautiful vintage motocross killer ! God bless Kaplan and God Bless America 🇺🇸👍
damn ken just tearing THAT GROUND UP ....CHRIST ALMIGHTY U HAD TO OF BEEN GOING 60MPH FROM THE ROAD TO THE ROOST...Everytime i watch 1 of your 125 2 stroke demos i always go out and go for a quick rip and try to emulate your bad ass moves on my go pro.....lol....you gotta be one of the coolest dads on planet earth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love seeing these 125s run only owned a couple got an 87 right now best part is you run them as they should be ran blows up fix it you and your son both bad asses all I can do is send mine but got to be careful 62 yes old don't want to break a hip death sentence for old folks so I watch yall send it very impressive D.h
I had a Honda peak anti freeze 125 1991 bought from a supercross it was Jeremy McGrath’s old bike from a supercross event in Sweden... in the 90’s man I miss that bike 😌
That was allways my favorite color scheme and layout for the CRs. I remember seeing these brand-new at a dealership.. If I get another post '89 CR500, its being done up like this..
I just got a 1990 Kawasaki 125 2 stroke but it needs some work needs new front end but it starts has headlights and taillights it sounds good can’t wait to rip it
Bro what a life, you do work very hard, you are a lucky man you get to rip on beautiful bikes, you was carrying the mail on that CR125. The bike sounds great and rides just as well obviously. Keep em coming👍👍.
I love my 98 CR125. Rebuilt it from the ground up last year with the best parts you can put on that bike. Even did a few mods, obviously the airbox mod because that year had such a tiny airbox, then got a bigger, better carb. Went from a 36mm PJ to a 38mm PWK and tuned it (had to get a new needle, throttle body and jets. A lot of research and tinkering to get it just right). Stiffen the spring from the exhaust governor by adding a 2mm thick shim. If you don't add more spring tension to the exhaust governor or use exhaust spacers when you put a bigger carb on this bike, that it will cause it to hesitate every time it's about to hit the power band. Doing all that really brought out the bottom end it didn't have before. Complete night and day. Then obviously got it sprung for my weight since I am a little heavier of a rider for the stock suspension.
Did not realize you had an impromptu motocross around the old mill grounds. Super kool and handy. I have always been in love with the YZ 125s. They had the monoshock first. But, i always loved the big bad red Hondas. I would b just as happy with this red cruise missle..
There's a shop that restored older bikes near me, And they are restoring a whole bunch of Cr and Some Kx and Rm's and they are trying to put all original parts on it. This bike looks insane! I need to get myself a cr lol
Lol...... Wow wot a piece brings bk memories i had a 96 cr 125 with a pro circuit pipe on with gold MR racing head on it..... They dont make the same anymore great video man..... Ps ken was riding it like it was stolen lol!!
I have one and it is my first real proper dirt bike other than Chinese pit bikes and I haven't fully got to rip the bike yet due to a transmission problem however when it hits in third gear and up this bike is a beast. I"m happy its my first bike. PS: This guy rides like an animal!!!
Reminds me of ME on my YZ 125 right after I started racing . The called me Hammer on a YammerHammer or something or Freight Train... like that It varied sometimes lol...yet Hammer always stuck . Back then Bob Hannah was my MX hero .
ProCircuit ran the same porting on these from 1991 to the end of Cr125 production. =They got it right the first time and never changed. Even though they are great bikes the 1991 Kx125 is the way better all around package stock. Seeing this Cr125 blast a 250lb man around easily is quite stunning. You could make the Johnny O'mara claim who needs a 250cc, or 500cc when you have a Honda Cr125.
I had a 1990 CR125, FMF pipe renthal bars and sprockets awesome bike wish I still had it, for its day the fastest 125 and turned and stopped like no other 125, we also raced these motors in 125 shifter karts, in a class called stock moto with 99' and then 01' cylinders
You guys know just give up after while knowing that Everytime Sr seems like he is going to stop and chat he just blazes by again Like a big kid. I'm just watching laughing my ass off! The undisputed king of classic bikes.
Nothing better than the sound of a two stroke in the powerband
Totally agree with you there Lawrence McDonald
125*****
Love it too but won’t ever hear that from 2vintage
Unless its a tree surgeon at 7 am with a chainsaw on the band hahaha
@Ben Smith he means quit being a smartass. Its youtube comments. Become an editor if you want to correct people.
Seeing Ken dragging this 125 around just makes me think of Ronnie Mac 😂😂
EXACTLY 💯 💯 💯
There’s a very strong Ronnie Mac vibe going on in this vid.
I agree 69%
Yea buddy lol 🤣🤣
Beautiful ole bike. Had no idea a 125 could rip like that. That bodybuilder dude is a madman. He's definitely got some riding skills. I wish someone would pay me to test ride bikes.
I have one of my own, the video doesn't do the feeling justice
His employees are very blessed, although they do much more, than just riding bikes. Trust me on that! Lol
Best “work” ever 😂🤤
When there tuned and running right they're fast and they rev out to the moon fast 🤘😅‼️
dude this guy is the definition of full send
Man, Ken.. You did the same thing with that '91 KX 125 a month ago.. Shows your skill levels for sure.. The 500's are just straight up brutes, but you THROW these smaller bores around like nothin'.. 🏁🇺🇸🏁
Everything about ken makes me think all American badass
When I see him, I think, Buddy Repperton from Christine.
citrus1973 me too! Every time! I was watching one day and my wife asked “ who does he look like?” I said Buddy Repperton from Christine, she agreed.
The fact that hes a follower of Jesus Christ makes it even better!!!!
@@577buttfan is he?
Ken is as American as apple pie, Legend!
so you must mean he's English since we made the apple pie but nice try
@@declanclark1113 we made most things first mate, as America as we know it is a young country and full of English people lol .
I had and raced this bike when I was a kid. Still one of the best looking CR's through the ages.
You can definitely ride!
When I travel to America this is no doubt the first place I'm going to visit.
I'm a owner of 17 bikes everything from dirt bike to big bore road bikes this place locks like heaven on earth 😎
Legend has it he’s the only man in the world who can make it look easy on anything with 2 wheels 👍🏻👍🏻😎

That thing's nuclear! The pipe is amazing - brilliant tuning.
the force was strong with SR on this bike
Honestly. How’d I miss this video. One of my favorites. I could watch the first 20 seconds over and over!!!
His face as he tightens up and hangs on for dear life lol!
scooped up a 2002 Kx125 fully restored, with Tom Morgan 144cc race motor, V3 reeds, Fatty Pipe, and shorty !!! The sound in the woods takes me back
You can sure ride those bikes...
I had a 91 CR125. The power band was like a light switch. On or off nothing in between. That bike blew my mind as a kid.
I'm proud to say I owned one and raced it for a few year's. Ken looked like he never had so much fun riding a bike as much as this one.
That two stroke sound always puts a smirk on my face 😏
Lightweight and a great power plant makes you rip.
I remember watching Lorusso

Raced one of these back in 93-94, loved that bike. Hello from the uk, Keep up the good work Ken.
Now that’s what I call music! Nothing like a one two five screamer.
