I raced a 1989 Honda CR125 at Culham MX. EPiC Fun .

I raced JPs 1989 Honda CR125 in the final Moto of the day at the Acerbis Nationals at Culham. Hadn’t ridden the bike since farleigh castle vets des nations in September last year. It was such a blast! Set the 2nd quickest laptime of the race. Fun times over lap times on this occasion 💯💯💯💯. Mind blowing that these old bikes can still compete against modern machinery.

TIZ TRUE THE 89 IGNITION WITH CRANKSHAFT WAS MADE TO REV , BILLS PIPE WAS MADE FOR THIS SET UP 12000RPM PLUS .A VERY GREAT BIKE THAT A TALENTED RIDER LIKE NEVILLE CAN USE TO THE FULLEST WITH DEVASTATING CONSEQUENCES 💪💃. ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS VIDEO 👍

I had a few cr125s in the early 1990s, '93 was the best one I had. In 1990 one of the tricks to make the bike faster was to use the 1989 ignition system because it made the bike crisper. I used to stand in the driveway with the bike on a milk crate and rev it just to hear the bark... this is a great reminder of the 125s, next year my 14 year old son is getting a 125 and I will send him this video 😎

I'm going to. I love this bike. I love the conventional forks so much better. KTM and GAS GAS have proven that you don't need that aluminum frame. Outdated style but update that and it would still be competitive.
