I just watched this video on September 7, 2024, and I thought I would post what I just learned yesterday. Here is a summary of his accomplishments: "Donald announced his retirement on March 15 after 10 seasons. In those 10 seasons, Donald was a three-time Defensive Player of the Year, an eight-time first-team All-Pro, a 10-time Pro Bowl selection and the 2014 Defensive Rookie of the Year.Mar 22, 2024". What I learned was that Aaron became only the second player in NFL history to be selected for the Pro Bowl in every season he played when playing at least 10 seasons. 10 seasons played, 10 Pro Bowl selections. Interestingly enough, the only other player to meet this threshold was Barry Sanders, who also played 10 seasons with 10 Pro Bowl selections.
Donald is the greatest DT of all time, the greatest defensive player in Los Angeles Rams history, who also have Deacon Jones in their ranks. Congrats on retirement AD!

Top 10 defensive player ever without any doubt in my mind. Ray, LT, Prime, Reggie, are the names that instantly come to mind who are better… the rest are up for debate…
You can't compare eras. A defense lineman who weighed 260 in 1970 would easily be 25 lbs heavier today just from the diet alone
@@openlotus9558 Sapp didn’t play in the 70’s!!!
@Derrek W , I was giving an example and you took it literally.. My point is, you can never compare erras. It's like some1 comparing your fifth grade child to your first grade child and saying the fifth grader is better because he knows more spelling words. No, hes just had 4 more years to develop.
@@openlotus9558 pretending like Sapp and Donald’s eras are so far apart is just funny! Donald is the best DT ever, this isn’t even a real conversation…
Aaron donald, warren sapp, jj watt, julius peppers, Vince wilfork. Beet d lineman I've had the pleasure to watch. These guys are true football players. Real dogs
Sapp is ma man. Humble. Funny. and dangerous.
Pick anyone on the Purple People Eaters, Alan Page, Jim Marshall, Carl Eller, Gary Larsen, when I was a kid these guys were who we all talked about, and I lived in Arizona!
Warren has a great point here. A. Donald has more Sacks, more forced fumbles, more Defensive Player of the year awards, ect. than Sapp had in his 13 year career, and Donald only finished his 8th season.
I wonder how he feel about Odell now, he was one of them saying OBJ overrated and just had one catch.
Keep bringing it Sapp! Thanks for reppin that Reelhead hoodie
Warren Sapp is a true treasure 😂
BIG Warren & Aaron Donald are the BEST I’ve ever seen from that DT position. Top 5 below
LT, Reggie White, Ray Lewis, Aaron Donald, Sanders 🐐
John Randle was better than Sapp and Aaron Donald.
@@Hopper830 Randall was a beats but he Played DE too-ppl forget that. The other two got/get the majority of their sacks from the interior. He’s NOT better than Donald, man.
@@ShadomanGThe Rams move Donald around as well. Against the Buccs he lined up a few times over the right tackle.
Offensive line play was way better in the 90's than it is right now. That's why I have John Randle rated higher than Aaron Donald.
@@Hopper830 He moves around yes, but seldom & the same could said about sacking the QB in today’s game-You can barely touch e’m. Randle’s era you could essentially rip the quarterbacks ahead off hit him anywhere w/o a flag. Both GREAT players but 3 DPOY awards, 8 Pro Bowls, 7 All Pros, 100 career sacks in 8 years as a DT is unmatched
@@ShadomanG Randle's era still had much better offensive line play than Donald's era. There really is no debate there. Guys today don't hold a candle to someone like Larry Allen, Will Shields or someone like Willie Roaf.
Sapp knows his stats and lists
I just watched this video on September 7, 2024, and I thought I would post what I just learned yesterday. Here is a summary of his accomplishments:
"Donald announced his retirement on March 15 after 10 seasons.
For sapp to say that. One of the best to do it. 💐
What about Cortez Kennedy?
Warren Sapp needs a podcast
Props to the sapp
Wonderful take… great analyst, very descriptive, and very entertaining.
Just lay off da weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed 😂
All facts! The great ones play even better when they get pissed 😤
Donald is the greatest DT of all time, the greatest defensive player in Los Angeles Rams history, who also have Deacon Jones in their ranks. Congrats on retirement AD!
That's big for Sapp to say this
Aaron is the best DT ever. We can now start saying that.
Mean Joe Greene
Don't forget how good JJ Watt was in his prime.
@@mezanine10 Jj was amazing but this man Aaron Donald has been dominating the last 7 years
@@johneaston918 not even close to being as good. The different era point actually works in Donald’s favor
That Rams pass rush was no joke in the 4th quarter
