Aaron Donald once climbed to being considered the best player in all of football...as a defensive tackle. That is rare, and that is because he put immeasurable fear into his opponents' eyes and blocking schemes.

@@irlzy oh shit I forgot about Fletch that fast😂. I was actually talking about Jalen Carter! But yeah Fletch was the second best at the time but there was still a pretty big gap between the 2. Jalen taking over that position AD left startin next year

There will never be a defensive player as good as Lawrence Taylor

Don’t say that you didn’t watch any of THE SHOW, and then anoint Donald the goat of both era’s. He is great, but pump the breaks kid.

He said he only planned to play 8, but since he won the Super Bowl in year 8 he played 2 extra seasons hoping to get back

He’s achieved nearly every possible accolade in the league for a defensive player, while also being almost unanimously the best player at his position the entire time.

Yeah, he is. Faulk, Warner, SJ39, Dickerson, Holt, Isaac and Deacon Jones were great but not on the level of AD

He wasn't feared... he was great, but no one feared him. He was contained many times by many teams... John Randle was better and Randle is #10 All-Time leader in sacks with 137.5... AS A DEFENSIVE TACKLE! Yeah Aaron Donald was a DT too, but ended his career 28th on the list with 111 sacks.

Warren Sapp called Donald a monster and said he was better than Donald. Also, the o-linemen John Randle played against weigh less than most Texas Olinemen do today
