Who's Could Beat Lebron in a Fight?
Whos The greatest Defensive player ever
Any awards u think are rigged
#nfl #defence #mvp #dpoy #football #sports #american #jets #newyork #newyorkjets
John Elway won the MVP award while receiving a 2nd team all pro. Joe Montana was the best at his position grabbing first team honors and Elway wins MVP.
In 1981 Gastinaeu was a DE and Kecko was DT. Lawrence Taylor was a rookie just LEARNING to play Linebacker after being a DE in college. He was THAT good and won 2 more DPOY awards and 2 Super Bowls and an MVP. Gastinaeu & Klecko had already peaked by then.
I don’t think anything beats the 1982 nfl MVP where they gave it to a kicker LOL.
Lowkey forgot abt that one no lie 😭
Great video! Ain’t got a problem with that DPOY ‘81 take shit checks but I wanna mention that I’m pretty sure MVP candidates are also guys whose teams literally cannot function properly without them, I see the stats and I agree that shit looks bad but that’s something to consider as well.
@@Optimusprime917 preciate it gang 🙏🏿 and ya that’s a good point, I guess I’m use to the mvp being the best QB award and not literally the most valuable player to team success, I still don’t think he should’ve won but regardless good point.
The real holder of the NFL sack record is a guy named Coy Bacon he had 26 sacks in 1976 during a 2-year stint with the Cincinnati Bengals
This was a really well done video. Subscribed.
I think both awards have the issue where two teammates were so amazing that they split the vote and resulted in a third performance getting it. The elway thing is so apparent cause most voters chose montana over him for first team all pro.
Tom Brady earning a 2nd team all pro over Carson Palmer in 2005 is an underrated snub.
Hot take- LT and Deion, while ATG hall of famers, were both overhyped to increase support in the major media markets of Atlanta and New York
The 2003 MVP award
2 players won it at QB where 2RBs should’ve won instead of
The MVP award should be called the quarterback award and MVP award should be given to others that deserve the recognition
that dpoy race is similar to this years heisman race....
This video is already out of date as of tonight
Brah you feel me
I remember the 1981 season like it was yesterday and yes one of the sack exchange should have beaten Taylor for that award and Ronnie Lott also was just as good a defensive player as Taylor ever was
Thank you. My generation has stopped giving Ronnie Lott his flowers recently and seem to think Troy and ed are better. But yes Ronnie Lott is one of the 5-10 greatest defensive players ever.
I knew Elway was going to come up fwiw, he won because Montana/Rice basically split votes, but also because Elway WAS the Denver offense. Notice Montana and Rice are on the same team. Elway was surrounded by guys who probably wouldn't even make the 49ers roster. By today's metric of it being a QB stat wh*ring award, he'd definitely not win it. I have to wonder if Gast/Klecko being on the same line hurt their chances as well.
Elway is the best player of all time. Show the respect he earned. If so kids can’t see the truth, who cares?
Ain’t sure about this one gang love the enthusiasm tho 😂🙏🏿
Steve Nash won his MVPs over Kobe, rightfully, stay mad my dood
Swarthoid
Last years DPOY is big fraud energy. As a Seahawks fan: TJ Watt should've won and there is literally no argument
🤣
Lawrence Taylor is so goddamn overrated
Have you seen him play?
@@marcusnickens6665 yes and he's great, but everybody talks like he's clearly the best defensive play ever, which he definitely isnt
You got to be kidding.
@@conservativeguy9329 He had two all decade team members in his LB Core (banks, carson) had two great d-linemen in George Martin and Leonard taylor, and had the greatest coaching mind ever
@OJTheMarriageCounselor I am a Giants fan,. My comment of you must be kidding was the comment Lawrence Taylor was overrated.
