My man! Outstanding list. If you haven’t got your nose on it yet, I cannot recommend Mercedes Benz Club Black enough! Fantastic vanilla. One of the best designer level vanilla scents out there! And for the price………the price to quality ratio is ridiculous. It goes in and out of stock but if you can get it for around $50, it’s a no brainer. Sweet, woody, smokey, warm, vanilla. I get great performance even at the EDT concentration.

Phenomenal video. Some really great fragrances. I haven’t tried Pegasus, but I do own Pegasus Exclusif and it’s one of my top 5 in my collection. Also, I am really loving TF Tobacco Vanille lately. One of my first loves in my fragrance journey however, is Mancera Aoud Vanille. That one really does it for me with the vanilla 👍

I think it being mixed with the saffron it gives it the more medicinal vibe, but not smelling like a hospital. To my nose, it gives it this slight metallic vibe. Metallic, campfire vanilla almost. Little bit of roasted marshmallow type aroma. Something along those lines
Awesome video. Really pleased to see PDM Herod & Pegasus in the list. Both are great vanilla scents, one with the mixture of tobacco, another with the touch of almond. My personal favorite vanilla scent is Guerlain Spirituese Double Vanille.
Thank you! Parfums de marly nailed the vanilla in a lot of their fragrances. So good! Double Vanille is an intense vanilla.. That thing packs a (vanillic) punch for sure! Have you tried Dior Vanilla Diorama?
Italian Leather was the fragrance that immediately let me know strong leather frags along that line were not for me. Vanilla is a personal favorite though so thanks so much for the vid!
I tried Tom Ford ombre leather as well and couldn't do it. Certain leather scents have a dead/dead animal smell to me or something. I think the leather has to be relatively subtle because some fragrances that supposedly have leather don't bother me or I don't notice it the same way. My favorite vanillas are Layton, Side Effect, Guerlain Ideal EDP, and Mercedes-Benz Club Black. I'd like to try Absolute Aphrodisiac but the leather has made me question it. I need to get a sample!
@@twodeepmatt Thanks for sharing! Not everyone enjoys wearing the scent of leather. If you are still curious about it then check out Salvatore Bright leather, intense leather and spicy leather. I feel those are much easier to wear and quite smooth leather scents compared to a lot of my other more intense leather scents. Although they might be too much for you as well depending on how "sensitive" you are to the scent of leather 😊 When it comes to AA from Initio I feel the leather/suede in that one is very much pushed behind the vanilla which to me is the scent that dominates that fragrance. Try it if you're curious, before you buy tho since it's not cheap
Yup most of my faves are in this video. Can’t go wrong with the whole Allure Homme Sport line, le male le parfum, le beau, most wanted Parfum and 1 million elixir are all heavily in rotation during the cooler weather
My best vanilla is one i just smells & put on this week. It's from the brand My perfumes called Khanjar. It's a warm spicy, vanilla, leather & oud. But the vanilla is really strong. Armani stronger with you oud is a close 2nd.

Incredible selection, there. I really didn't understand the deal with the SWY line until I got my nose on the oud flanker. What a gorgeous fragrance. Oddly enough, I always hated Pegasus until a friend of mine wore the Exclusif version and it blew my mind how much I love it. Got a full bottle now. 👍👌

The original Pegasus nowadays I don't mind so much, I just feel it's too sweet for me, missing that touch of oud I love so much from the Exclusifs (both Pegasus and Layton). At first sniff though, I found the OG Pegasus way too sweet. Maybe it's that almond note you really like but to my nose it didn't play right? In the Exclusif, it is very toned down by the woody oud note.
I have chanel allure sport eau extreme, Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male,the new azzaro the most wanted and elixir Paco rabanne 1 million. The rest of them, I haven’t smelled them but I’m not surprised that the scent are good. I like azarro and JPG Le Male but if it’s informal places I’ll choose JPG Le Male and for special occasion or date I’ll choose azarro in my opinion. Awesome video and I like vanilla and sweet scents. Ani is incredible. I hope they bring out some a 'new' version of code absolu. Something that has that intense dose of vanilla bit a bit more updated. Code Absolu is a great one indeed.

I have to say. You generally review the fragrances I enjoy. Most are mass appealing. These vanilla fragrances are almost guaranteed to get the thumbs up from people around you. Le Male Le Parfum is a total masterpiece. Must get a back up bottle.

It is the perfume that all the people say is exactly the perfect match for me. What perfume do you recommend for summer that is from Herod's olfactory "family"? I like perfumes/scents that people are surprised not to know much about. I'm looking for a perfume that has these characteristics but for use in hot temperatures. Here in Madrid in the summer we reach 42 degrees.
Have you tried Armani Magenta Tanzanite? It's definitely unisex and it's an amazing sweet and spicy tobacco scent with a unique touch of coffee and myrrh. It's a unique head turner that smells fantastic.
Indult tihota is the only one that’s actually an amazing smelling vanilla..All these may have vanilla in them but they don’t actually smell like vanilla
Personally my all-time favorite fragrance video ever! I've watched so many of you and Sandra's vids I knew what you were gonna say before you even said it, so I was fist pumping when I saw an all vanilla video! I was fist pumping that u chose not 1, not 2 but 3 JPG frags and an that Le Beau was one of them 🤜🤛. Xtra-Xtra credit for ur decision to showcase Prada Luna Rossa Sport instead of Luna Rossa Black like most people would have chosen but I agree that sport is so friggin awesome and underrated and it's 🔥 for the summertime and spring. But my favorite part of this video was for something that you actually chose not to even mention and I think that was a ballsy and a great decision. Of course I'm talking about the absence of Armani Code Absolu and Profumo and even Absolu Gold. Out-FN-Standing my man! If they were still available I would have put all 3 of them in my "best vanilla" list cuz they are so friggin awesome and Armani ripped them away from us for no reason and no explanation or F'N apology so we gotta fight back the only way we can and you not giving them any airtime while some of us boycott their products is a message they will 1000% hear and understand because dollar's and cent's is the only language they actually speak. 🤘🏼 U nailed it with this one brother 🤘🏼
@@rottenrebels Well these might surprise you cuz these are by no means new scents but I never bothered with them becuz everything I read on them labeled them as weak, boring, lame, mediocre but that has not been my experience. They are Carolina Herrera 212 Men Sexy and 212 VIP Black and last but definitely not least Mercedes Benz Select Night EDP. I know club black is the hype monster but just hold the bottle of Select Night in ur hand and you will see how much more care and quality went into this juice. I'll take it over club black 10 out of 10 times. As for performance my answer is always the same: Everything performs above average on my skin because I know what I'm doing so I don't even consider that when I'm deciding whether or not to buy a fragrance. 🤘🏼 Rock n Roll baby 🤘🏼

Impossible to answer properly without knowing what that person enjoys in fragrance 😊 with that said, while both are often enjoyed by people getting a whiff of them, some guys feel they are not their kind of scent to wear. They are both amazing but They are a bit unique compared to a lot of the more common scents so some guys are just not used to them. Maybe better to go for something else unless you know for sure he likes those? 😊

i used to find vanilla too challenging (too many cloying womens perfumes) but recently have come around to them (hello Layton), as RR says its vanilla done right. BTW I have to see where SWY oud is available in the UK, is that a limited edition?
Vanilla is so common it's probably already (maybe just a hint) in some of your fragrances? SWY oud is a middle eastern exclusive but it can be found in different online outlets as well. So my suggestion is to look around online and see if you can find it 😊 So how do you rate layton from 1-10?

So Herod to me is this very attractive sweet tobacco that has a smooth kind of spiciness to it. So my guess is that's the kind of scent you like (sweet scents with tobacco and a bit of smooth spiciness)?

I like perfumes/scents that people are surprised not to know much about. I'm looking for a perfume that has these characteristics but for use in hot temperatures. Here in Madrid in the summer we reach 42 degrees.
Have you tried Armani Magenta Tanzanite? It's definitely unisex and it's an amazing sweet and spicy tobacco scent with a unique touch of coffee and myrrh. It's a unique head turner that smells fantastic.
Indult tihota is the only one that’s actually an amazing smelling vanilla..All these may have vanilla in them but they don’t actually smell like vanilla
Personally my all-time favorite fragrance video ever! I've watched so many of you and Sandra's vids I knew what you were gonna say before you even said it, so I was fist pumping when I saw an all vanilla video! I was fist pumping that u chose not 1, not 2 but 3 JPG frags and an that Le Beau was one of them 🤜🤛. Xtra-Xtra credit for ur decision to showcase Prada Luna Rossa Sport instead of Luna Rossa Black like most people would have chosen but I agree that sport is so friggin awesome and underrated and it's 🔥 for the summertime and spring. But my favorite part of this video was for something that you actually chose not to even mention and I think that was a ballsy and a great decision. Of course I'm talking about the absence of Armani Code Absolu and Profumo and even Absolu Gold. Out-FN-Standing my man! If they were still available I would have put all 3 of them in my "best vanilla" list cuz they are so friggin awesome and Armani ripped them away from us for no reason and no explanation or F'N apology so we gotta fight back the only way we can and you not giving them any airtime while some of us boycott their products is a message they will 1000% hear and understand because dollar's and cent's is the only language they actually speak. 🤘🏼 U nailed it with this one brother 🤘🏼

@@rottenrebels Well these might surprise you cuz these are by no means new scents but I never bothered with them becuz everything I read on them labeled them as weak, boring, lame, mediocre but that has not been my experience. They are Carolina Herrera 212 Men Sexy and 212 VIP Black and last but definitely not least Mercedes Benz Select Night EDP. I know club black is the hype monster but just hold the bottle of Select Night in ur hand and you will see how much more care and quality went into this juice. I'll take it over club black 10 out of 10 times. As for performance my answer is always the same: Everything performs above average on my skin because I know what I'm doing so I don't even consider that when I'm deciding whether or not to buy a fragrance. 🤘🏼 Rock n Roll baby 🤘🏼

Would it be wise to purchase Dior Fahrenheit le Parfum or Parfums de marly Pegasus for a 17 yr old bo?
Impossible to answer properly without knowing what that person enjoys in fragrance 😊 with that said, while both are often enjoyed by people getting a whiff of them, some guys feel they are not their kind of scent to wear. They are both amazing but They are a bit unique compared to a lot of the more common scents so some guys are just not used to them.
Maybe better to go for something else unless you know for sure he likes those? 😊

i used to find vanilla too challenging (too many cloying womens perfumes) but recently have come around to them (hello Layton), as RR says its vanilla done right. BTW I have to see where SWY oud is available in the UK, is that a limited edition?
Vanilla is so common it's probably already (maybe just a hint) in some of your fragrances? SWY oud is a middle eastern exclusive but it can be found in different online outlets as well. So my suggestion is to look around online and see if you can find it 😊 So how do you rate layton from 1-10?
