Best Iris fragrance I have ever smelled is from Niche House Day 3 Fragrances and is called Say Less . Amazing blend of iris , candied violets ,lemon and bergamot with a base of cedar , musk , amber and rain ( a fantasy note ) . It is spectacular !
Smells are subjective...for me is Amouage reflection 45.

Bleu Noir is my favorite recommendation for a sleeper Iris scent. I love it.

I actually wasn't sure about it at ferst but I grew to like it like people have suggested. Once I stop thinking about it like a makeup smell.
Saint Hilaires Ambre Chic is one of the best Iris fragrances, smells just like VUI, its amazing
Great video and list, Ash! I’m actually wearing Dixie Iris today. I have all of Cam’s fragrances, and they are all really good. Plus, he’s a good dude.
I also love that Gentleman EDP! Still my fave in the line.
I've had Carolina on my radar since the beginning, but I can't force myself to pay $12/sample in addition to $10 shipping for a package I know costs $5 max to ship.
Definitely Blue Noir Parfum is my absolute favourite iris scent of all time at this very last day... I mean i really love iris, but this one it's truly something else. Period 🫡
Joop le parfum is a stunner. Highly recommend a try.
I like really subdued iris. I own Le Male parfum and it just rounds it off and adds longevity. My favorite is the way it's blended into Gentleman EDP Boisee. Very mild but it's sitting underneath some spicy wood and chocolate. The heavy iris put me off of EDP and Reserve Prive.
That Boisee is smooth operator, somethin else. I too, liked it a lil better than Reserve Privée

I recently stumbled onto a fantastic iris scent. It’s Milestones Fabulous King. I paid a whopping 14.99 at Marshall’s. Huge sweet iris blast in the opening and then you get a great blend of leather and a green tinge, I absolutely love this one and I can’t believe it was so cheap,

I just acquired a bottle of Valentino Uomo Intense. I had a bottle several years ago, but once I got through it, I already had several other Iris fragrances (DHI, Givenchy Gentleman, etc), but I do believe there's enough of a difference for historical purposes to own a bottle. ❤
Personally, i like how Prada Luna Rosa Ocean does iris rather than L' Homme. Givenchy second and DHI the absolute kind of iris

Prada L'Homme Intense is the best of the line
I agree with Dior Homme Intense not being a love at first sniff, specially if you're not used to that DNA. It happened to me but as you said, i grew to love it. So much that i own a bottle and is top 3 in my collection.
For me it was)) thats how i became a fraghead. Was used to classic manly fragrances then boom.
I would love to see fragrance lists based on the note. So instead of “10 spring fragrances” its “10 apple fragrances” etc. thanks for the video!
Code Parfum is a good iris beginer fragrance as well as it's quite subtle which is the way I like iris in my fragrances as I don't really like it too dominent
I have Le Male Le Parfum and Givenchy Gentleman, I’m very happy with those. Dior Homme Intense is on my wishlist and I may get that this fall.
Ash doesn't usually produce videos about a singular note. Could it be possible that he is thinking of creatively directing an iris fragrance with Michael Malul? 😮

I was in the Prada store and the sale person said that lhomme is discontinued and it’s showing sold out on the website. Also, surprised no one ever talks about the Green Matcha note in Prada Lhomme. It has a green tea accord.
Does Dior Homme Intense have the woodiness that the rest of line has?

Armani Code Parfum is missing from this list. Nice fresh iris scent.
Mostly excellent frangrances in this list. Just a few words of caution. Prada L'Home could turn to be too sweet in high temperatures. Dior Homme Intense could be too dark or cloying to some. Narciso Rodriguez Blue Noir Parfum could be too dusty to some. Givenchy Gentleman EDP has some exotic spiciness to it that may be quite surprising ! As I said, those are excellent fragrances. Just be warned of some of their traits and properties !

Everytime test the Narciso Rod, i smelled body odor of a man when he sweat. Is it the quality of musk?

Smells really good. Similar to the edt but way better imo. A little like Eros edp imo.

Power of any fragrance note cannot compete with the power of dressing well and being in shape.
May I add to that an approachable and friendly personality. A good fragrance is just the cherry on top.

Just seven, including "la creme de la creme" of designer iris fragrances (DHI, Prada L'Homme, JPG Le Male Le Parfum, Givenchy Gentleman EDP...) but hey let's not include any Valentino, yet I'm gonna include this out of the blue odd man out, and hey full disclosure, it's from a friend of mine, but this is no disguised ad believe me, it's just seven I like. Right, makes sense. Not sorry to say makes enough sense for me to unsubscribe from this alternative channel, Ash.

@@lunada7127 To explain, the note of iris particularly in DHP & DHI smells like a "tarts handbag" and is strictly for sausage jockeys and salami smokers.
