I can’t express with words how much these guys mean to me. It’s amazing how some of their songs still give me goosebumps after all the times I’ve heard them. I love them so much

Songs from the Big Chair is one of the most listenable albums I've ever bought. You can pop it on and just let it go... not a bad song on it. I wore out my auto-reverse cassette deck with it.
Same with Roland's solo albums for TFF. Elemental and RATKOS. Never had to skip a track only if it was by choice. ELAHE was great as well. Well worth the 9 year hiatus.

As they aged they got better and better I just never get tired listening to test for fears there music is just so good I just love Roland and Curt there a natural talent happy they got back together as a band.
I saw them solo. I was way up in the nosebleed section, yet the energy emanating from these two were electrifying and reached the rafters easy. It is by far, one of the best concerts I have been to. I still get goosebumps thinking about it.

These guys are the sound track of my life. They can do no wrong. The hurting and songs from the big chair are my favourite and woman in chains is mye and my partners song makes me sob now we are parted. Shout I can listen to over and over and over again and never tire of it loved it the first time I heard it and will till I die and will have it played LOUD at my funeral I could go on and on about these bit their music says it all. For me no band comes close even though I’m a huge cure fan who have made way more music of eaqual quality a forest Charlotte sometimes Shout shout letit all out These are the thing I can do without Come on I’m talking to you come on I’m 100% serious these guys know how to make music that never fades or ages. Can't leave out how GREAT Oleta Adams is. Such a beautiful woman and voice! Nicky Holland too! Both got recognition working with TFF. And it's a better world as a result! TFF Rules! And you also skipped right over Elemental and Raul and The Kings of Spain. And Tomcats Screaming. Saw them finish up the Sowing The Seeds tour at Jones Beach. What a SHOW!

These guys were my world in junior high, so I needed to watch this- didn't learn a single thing I didn't already know. It's amazing how some information just stays with you. The album, The Hurting is still one of the most important albums to my musical life. But tracks on Big Chair Iike Listen, Working Hour and I Believe are works of genius as well.
Unfortunately there’s no mention of the albums ‘Elemental’ or ‘Raoul And The Kings Of Spain,’ neither does it mention Roland’s solo album ‘Tomcats Screaming Outside’ or Curt’s group “Mayfield.” But despite their success, I think Roland Orzabal is highly underrated for being a musical genius. I can’t say or express enough of the love I have for them and their music. Their music will forever be a most precious part of my life.

I recall one of their arguments before their breakup in 1991 was because Curt was complaining about not getting enough singing time compared to Roland. Producers explained that their audience, by that time, have become accustomed to Roland's signature voice and they wanted to maintain that momentum of familiarity.
They had their 2 concerts in Manila,Philippines last 2010,2012 respectively. They were amazed of their Filipino fans who watched their first concert because the Filipinos were singing with them the whole time. That's why TFF promised to come back after 2 yrs. But I wasn't able to watch both of their concerts. I usually watched them on MYX channel here in the Phils. I'm a proud fan of TFF way back the 80's. Aug 15,2021

I don’t care what type of music it is I grew up on metal and West Coast hip-hop so when I was a teenager it was either 2pac or Metallica or Ice Cube or Pantera or Snoop Dogg, Slayer, Ozzy, Tha Dogg Pound, Guns N Roses, Dr. Dre, White Zombie, NIN, Westside Connection , etc. but Tears for Fears is one of the greatest music ex of all time in my book. Their music in the bed pretty easily. It always takes me back to when life was good when I hear they’re not sick and anytime on at the beach sitting on the balcony watching the Ocean with a beer in hand or a joint they always seem to be the perfect soundtrack. They have made some of the best things your ears should ever hear hands-down.

There were a few iconic beats that spawned dance moves that defined the eighties. TFF songs definitely contributed to that phenomena.
