Views on the road, yo uso maicena cuando no le pongo arroz. Ah, y hierbabuena picadita en la mezcla de la carne. Gracias por la receta, la voy a calar.
My mom made the best albondiga soup when we were kids. Her soup was very similar to this one and she added cubed potatoes to the broth also. We did not have a lot of money back then so this was mom’s way of making her soup last longer and having enough for all to eat even “seconds”. She also made Mexican rice to go with it. There were also a pot of pinto beans and homemade flour tortillas if anybody wanted some. She fed us simple, inexpensive meals but the memories are priceless. Thank you mom ❤️.
Mrs. Stephanie, I got paid the highest compliment that one could get!! My son's father-n-law said your recipe is fabulous!!! For Mexican meatball soup It almost made me cry cause I try so hard to please my Familiar. I will be donating to you two beauty's monthly, I really do appreciate all you have done for us Gringo's lol..
I made this soup for my grandpa and keep in mind he's a very picky eater since my grandma passed away a couple years ago and He loves it it reminds him of my grandma Thank you so much
Hello yall. It's a good recipe for meatball soup. Because I can't have the grease from the hamburger I make the meatballs and cook them in the airfryer first to get most of the fat off then ad them to the soup mixture and cook it in my instapot comes out so tasty. I also like lots of chayote and carrots and ad knorr chicken bullion to enhance the flavor. I always enjoy watching you two sisters cook. Thank you.
I wish I could speak to my mom. Today she would have celebrated her 90th birthday. She passed almost 20 years ago. Lucky for me, mom had written down most of her recipes. 💟💐
And I'm Polish and Italian but my husband is Mexican and Irish and we both LOVE MEXICAN FOOD AND IVE FOLLOWED MANY OF YOUR VIDEOS BUT ALWAYS ADDED WITH MY LITTLE BIT OF THIS AND A LITTLE BIT OF THAT BY TASTE AND WHAT WE LOVE. WE LOVE YOU SOOOO MUCH THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU DO
Greetings from Guatemala!! So, I cooked this last night and it was DELICIOUS!!!! We did not have any zucchini, so I used chayotes and it still came out wonderful! Hubby loved it and had us save some for leftovers tonight. He asked me while at work today, "Is there still some of that delicious soup you made last night left? Because I want that along with our dinner tonight. And along with the white rice. I hope there is some left." 😁 When he tried it, he gave me such an awesome compliment of "Wow, babe! You are a good cook." 😍 He told me he will definitely want it again in the future very soon. And our little ones loved it too! I want to thank you so much for your channel. I stumbled upon it one day and I am so thankful I did! Your channel has been a blessing to me and to my family! THANK YOU SO MUCH for such delicious recipes!! ❤
Love love albondigas in our family we like to mix beef and pork combined and we chop tomatoes onions cilantro and we add chipotle peppers and garlic salt and oh man there great too
I grew up in Kentucky and never really had any good Mexican food till I moved to Fresno California in 2001. I ordered albondigas soup one day and fell in love with it. Thanks for the great video and recipe!
I'm Chilean ... living in Australia! My mum makes these, I haven’t had them for years … 16yrs since my nephew was born, the smallest of triplets! Lelas ‘little piojo’ now my mum makes them only for him as he was the smallest… 16yr old 6ft tall now! I love them both.
I legit am binge watching your videos 😂 you lady have this pregnant woman salivating with everything. And I know I should stop but I just love your videos and now I will start making all the dishes one by one lol Much love to you ❤️
I had to comment on this recipe because albondigas is my very favorite Mexican dish. I can no longer enjoy eating in restaurants as I am very Ill with a rare genetic disease and I cannot do much at all. I discovered your channel, saw this video and told my husband I was going to make this myself no matter what! He is also disabled and between the 2 of us we managed to put together ingredients to improvise this dish. instead of Anaheim bell peppers, I used 2 small mild jalapenos. I used red onion and celery leaf to substitute for green onion and white onion. I had no tomato but I had a can of diced tomatoes that I strained the liquid out of. I also had no zucchini but had small yellow squash. Everything else I had. Yesterday I was in bed with a high fever and intense bone pain. I had planned on making the soup today so I just rested. I sat in my wheelchair in our kitchen at 11 am and finished at 3pm. I followed your video and OMG, sisters, it is soooooo amazing I cried! My husband is not a soup lover but had 2 bowls full! He admitted he liked is more than he thought he would. It took a lot out of me to do this but it was worth the effort. My body is thanking me and I am thanking you both. BIG HUGS and much LOVE!!🌻❤💖
Love girls I’m Mexican I have make Meatballs so so so many times but, that Anaheim Chile wow gives it another flavor and your cooking time for everything price less, love it!!!! Muchas, muchas gracias 🙏
I made the soup for my friend and 98 year old dad today for lunch. My dad had two large bowls, and I also sent some home with him. He really liked it. I have made the soup for my friend at least 3 times before. He says it keeps get better and better. This is indeed my go to recipe for albondigas soup. Thank you so much!
I live in California and we’re having a heat wave and fires all around us. But I just had to try your recipe. It’s was so easy and we just loved the flavor. Thanks for sharing
Your instructions are so easy to follow. I appreciate you taking the time to give us the measurements. I just made it today and omg so delicious! Thank you!!!! ❤️
Ok. I am not much of soup person or mexican /spanish food, but i dont know why this peaked my curiosity and i am glad. I also made your tortillas with it and i ate until my belly hurt. Even my 10 year old ate and that is an achievement in itself. Best soup i've ever had. Thank you
I'm watching from the countryside outside of Paris, France and I love Mexican food! I ALWAYS "like" these videos b4 watching. I'd love to make this recipe. For once I can find all the ingredients except perhaps the Anaheim pepper. Did they mention the percentage of fat in the ground meat? Here in France we can buy it with 5%, 10% or even 15% fat. It's chilly here too, no snow or icey roads in the Paris area but a tasty albondiga soup would be nice to get our minds off our national wide strikes. Happy New Year and good health to everyone. Bon appétit!
So I have been doing keto and most albondigas recipes calls for pork grinds in place of rice or cauliflower rice...so I found your recipe and I used almond flour....OMG!!! So perfect...thank you!!!
I love when you said that your mom said about the spices like tantito,I remember my mom when I call her for some recipe!!I love all your tutorials!!Blessing!!
Oh my! Such a lovely soup Steph and Cloud. Actually warm here in Columbia River Gorge. I didn't have any green onions so will make sure next time. The potatoes n carrots were perfect and anaheim chilies really make the soup. Thank you sooo much. We didn't make rice but next time. I battled ants all night n only had time for a nap this morning. We've had an unusually warm winter with lots of rain after snow. Guess the ants were sick of the rain too. I am my hubby's caregiver last 9 yrs so I can relate to your Mom's struggles with hospitals. I sure hope she's getting put back together soon. You are an amazing home chef and I love the relationship you have with all of your family and am so grateful for what you give to us. Thank you always!!❤❤
We made this today for our dinner tonight. It's 110° outside but this recipe is bomb! I added one tablespoon of tomato bullion just for fun. Girl, I love all of your recipes. The meatballs stayed together and family loved it!
My friend asked me to make this. No questions asked, I looked it up on your channel. I told my friend, “I trust her cooking, she will not fail me.” Lol thank you cooking Queen!!!!
Steph & Cloud - just wanted to let you know that I made this for my husband and when he tasted it he said it reminded him of his mom’s sopa. I’ll tell you that he has never said that before, and I actually teared up. His mom is 600 miles away and he misses her a lot so it was kind of emotional for both of us. Besides all that, it’s just super yummy. Thank you and your mom so much for this recipe.🥰
Made this tonight. I doubled the recipe and my only substitutions were sweet onion vs green onions, green bell pepper vs Anaheim and no cilantro. This soup is FABULOUS!! We will make it again and again l. Thank you! Very happy and following you for sure!
Made this today and it was so delicious. I’ve always been to scared to mess up the soup but you made it so easy!! Thank you so much for sharing your receipe
My mom used to make albóndigas growing up and I loveeeed them! Don’t tell her…but your recipe beats hers😅it’s amazing, they are truly JUICY albóndigas. I’m not one to brag about food I make but this is your recipe, I simply followed the directions. So I feel it’s okay to brag when I make them, SOOOO GOOD THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS!!🤤
This is a comment for your tortilla video. This is one of the few recipes I’ve seen made without baking powder. I love it because it taste fresher and less bitter. This is how I learned to make tortillas
This evening I made this soup for the second time. It's really good! This time the only thing I did different was to omit the flour from the meatballs. I liked it best without the flour; my meatballs did not fall apart. I think the next time I make this soup, and I will make it again, I will cut the cumin down to 1/2 tsp. Thank you, ladies, for all your hard work.
I have to try your recipe. My families version is adding whole oats,(yes! Uncooked oatmeal) instead of the traditional APF or bread crumbs. Thanks amiga this will be perfect for this chilly weather!!! *we add mint...Yerba buena
I made this tonight! I gave props where it was due and my family loves you! We have a family of 8 so you can imagine the amount made. I even had my daughter post it on Instagram. Thank you from the bottom of mi corazon!!!!
Made this soup tonight. I served with orange Mexican rice on the side. My first time making albondigas but with this recipe it sure won't be my last! Thank you for your videos. I can't wait to try some more of your recipes.
My 6 kids loved these when they were younger and they still do now grandchildren love them as well I learned from my mother-in-law she was from Jalisco, Mexico
I still don’t measure when I’m cooking. When anyone asks for the recipe and I say I can tell you what’s in it but I don’t have the measurements. To this day they don’t believe me. They think I just don’t want to share 😂😂😂
Yes it is summer, yes it has been over 100 degrees here ........but.....O👏M👏G👏 this is the best recipe ever!!! That Anaheim Pepper adds such a nice flavor to it. Thank you!!!
This is my very first time in my life that I make Albondiga soup. I looked thru many recipes and saw yours im actually making it as I write. So already it smells so good but I really can't wait for the soup to be done....thanks again I'm gonna make some more of your stuff...
Hey so I love chipotle sauce and still learning to cook so sorry if it’s a dumb question but do you add some of the chile’s or just the sauce? And you would put it in when your putting all the seasonings in the meat?
So I’ve been binge watching all your videos and I finally decided to make this recipe and omg my family and I loveddddd it!! It was a hit!! Thank you for sharing your recipes and explaining everything the way you do 😋🥰
TFS it's our pleasure. It brings me joy to share my way around the kitchen as it can be intimidating to try traditional recipes. The best part is that in modern time we can make them faster and comfortable for our home. Have a lovely weekend 💛
Thanks for this recipe this is the second time I make this since it’s freezing outside!!!! Love your authentic recipes! Thanks for being real! Your not annoying to listen to while I’m cooking and a attention seeker🤭👍. Your my go too!!!!!
I love your videos! I follow them often but now that we are quarantined I am even more. We are a Mexican household and almost always have the ingredients already 💛
You have no idea how much I needed a video from you today 😩 it's been a tough one but you always put a smile on my face ! Thanks Amiga❤️ and I'm loving the spice containers!!

i love your cooking i always forget to givee you a thumbs up, i really enjoy the long videos. i have ruined a few meals for the fact that they literally leave 75% of the info out. i thank you for your awesome recipes.
We had so many complaints about our teachings and have minimized most of our uploads. Please let us know if you need more direction and time. Thank you for your feedback by the way. Steph
LOVE this recipe! My family loved the soup! my mom was like, "Ya te puedes casar." LOL! If we wanted to add a few other veggies. what would you guys suggest?
thank you it was my first time making it for my family my wife wasn't feeling good so i decided to make dinner and all my family loved it your recipes are the best thanks
Can you make salsas like Robertos? It might be silly to you, but I love them. I'm originally from Vegas, now in Houston. There is nothing like a Robertos out here.
You can try boiling the rice until it’s almost cooked, let it cool down some and add it to the meat mixture with your other ingredients. Then make your meatballs
Loved this recipe after seeing you prepare it. My husband and I love your videos, and this is the first one we tried to recreate at home.
My mom wld say sit here on the step stool watch me from start to finish if you move you'll miss something . I don't measure but this is a good way for u to learn the Mex measuring way a word in Spanish she used . It ment more or less eye ball it . Learn the smell the textures the heat .

I'm not surprised how fast your channel has grown and I love hanging out with you ladies every video you post! When you hit I believe it was 100k or 200k subscribers I cant remember, you were moved to tears with how proud your boys were of you. I cried with you. You weren’t kidding! They were perfect. I’ve made abondigas plenty of times but always looking to improve. I’ve never used Anaheim chili, I think that’s what made the broth amazing….. thank you.
I made this today. And let me tell you. My kids are superrrr picky eaters! And they LOVED THIS DISH! 😍 I also added the rice into the soup. It tasted fantastic!
I have just recently discovered your videos and I am binge watching them on my day off. Thank you for the wonderful recipes! No more canned enchilada sauce for me.
Making this for supper ,smells so good..I blended all sauteed vegetables in blender with a little more liquid, only whole cut carrots an potatoes as my husband refuses to eat the veggies but likes the flavor of some as long as he dont see them so I hope it dont later the flavor...love my ninja blender..6-5-20. Cant wait for supper....I'm a taste ,dash of this an that as well so my adult kids get upset when they ask for the recipe an I tell them it's in my head but then break it down.yet they hate my way,but love the food an cant understand how it tastes the same every time...
I love you girls. My 6 year old chef and I love watching your videos. This is a whole new take on albondigas. I will have to try them. My great grandmother would make them with chicken, she would grind her own meat and make them with rice and yerbabuena. She would also add a bit of maza if she felt the mixture too soft.😍 My grandmother and I change it up a bit sometimes and use a mixture of chicken and turkey. Albondigas are the families signature dish. Everyone falls in love with them.

Made this soup tonight. I served with orange Mexican rice on the side. My first time making albondigas but with this recipe it sure won't be my last! Thank you for your videos. I can't wait to try some more of your recipes.
Awe thank for making this video, I remember asking for this recipe and you actually answered, thank you
You're welcome
I love. How simple and humble you are! You look beautiful when you smile 😃 !! I love albondigas ❤😊
Albondigas is one of my all time fav soup and brings childhood memories. Thank you for sharing your recepie. I love your channel. 💟
Yes it is summer, yes it has been over 100 degrees here ........but.....O👏M👏G👏
this is the best recipe ever!!!
That Anaheim Pepper adds such a nice flavor to it.
Thank you!!!
I do like the rice in it but I love rice so the suggested amount on the side would be MOUNTAINS of rice! 😍❤️😅
This version is juicier 🙌🏽
@@Viewsontheroad Yumz! I am starving now and it's all your fault 😁
This is my very first time in my life that I make Albondiga soup. I looked thru many recipes and saw yours im actually making it as I write. So already it smells so good but I really can't wait for the soup to be done....thanks again I'm gonna make some more of your stuff...
Omg yess!!! Perfect weather for this! I do the same thing! I sometimes add a little bit of chipotle and it’s soooo delicious!
Hey so I love chipotle sauce and still learning to cook so sorry if it’s a dumb question but do you add some of the chile’s or just the sauce? And you would put it in when your putting all the seasonings in the meat?
Yulma Rodriguez it could be either or both if you like
I LOVE HOW YOU MAKE EVERY FEEL THAT EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE OK THANKS
Although the channel keeps growing, I'm still very much a homemaker and cook everyday. Thankfully I love cooking, stay safe amiga.

We had so many complaints about our teachings and have minimized most of our uploads. Please let us know if you need more direction and time. Thank you for your feedback by the way. Steph
Yeessss!. Iv been asking for this. The food gods finally answered me. 😂😁
😘
I love albondigas!!! I like to add cabbage in mine. I also serve the rice on the side. Your cooking is great!! Thank you for the recipes!!
LOVE this recipe! My family loved the soup! my mom was like, "Ya te puedes casar." LOL! If we wanted to add a few other veggies. what would you guys suggest?
I’ve seen someone added celery before & chayote is good in it
I think celery and corn would be great.
thank you it was my first time making it for my family my wife wasn't feeling good so i decided to make dinner and all my family loved it your recipes are the best thanks
Can you make salsas like Robertos? It might be silly to you, but I love them. I'm originally from Vegas, now in Houston. There is nothing like a Robertos out here.
Lol that is funny!!
I miss the carrots
Go Astros!
Luv watching your cook shows, I'm learning all these traditional delicious ways to cook
Especially in this cold time, it's perfect.
I never had it with cilantro only with mint and it's delicious.
I want a video for the fluffy white rice, I never can get it right I don’t know what I’m doing wrong, please thank you 😊
You can try boiling the rice until it’s almost cooked, let it cool down some and add it to the meat mixture with your other ingredients. Then make your meatballs
Loved this recipe after seeing you prepare it. My husband and I love your videos, and this is the first one we tried to recreate at home.
Me watching albondigas videos cause I miss my abuelita 💀💀
Hello from South Los Angeles. I just made this in 93° California weather and it came out amazing! Thank you so much
I had that problem with my grandmother. She never measured. So we had to learn to watch closely at her perpirtions.
The struggle amiga LOL 💕
My mom wld say sit here on the step stool watch me from start to finish if you move you'll miss something . I don't measure but this is a good way for u to learn the Mex measuring way a word in Spanish she used . It ment more or less eye ball it . Learn the smell the textures the heat .
Perfect weather right now in Cali Thank you Ladies
“Salt and Peppa here” 😂. Am I the only one who caught this?
Doubt it
I caught it!
Na, I got it. My wife and I are always popping off Salt-N-Pepper lyrics. 🤣😂🎵🎶
I just finished making this... still simmering. Gave it a taste and wowza! Sooo yummy! I've never had Albóndigas until now.
Great!!!!! I've been wanting to learn this..for my man lmao
You got this!

This is one of my favorite recipes! I have made it for my family many times since I first saw you girl chat version of the recipe long ago! Congratulations on 400k subscribers! I'm not surprised how fast your channel has grown and I love hanging out with you ladies every video you post! When you hit I believe it was 100k or 200k subscribers I cant remember, you were moved to tears with how proud your boys were of you. I cried with you. I know the feeling of how profound it feels when someone so important to you is unconditionally proud of you. Stay genuine ladies! Love you and all your recipes! From one foodie to another! ❤ p.s. I miss your las doñas videos! 💙
You guys are amazing! Thank you for teaching me how to cook some bomb ass authentic meals for my family! My tribe and my husband love each recipe and it's so fun to watch u guys cook with me! 💙 🤜 We appreciate u guys!
Thank you for the recipe! My babies loved it. They ate all and asked for more.
