- This was a great viewer choice recommendation! I loved mixing my own colors as well. That was one of my goals for the new year and I was happy to incorporate that in. I cannot believe that the new year is already approaching us again! Wow! This design is not my favorite composition, but this was more about the colors than the design. I am still on the fence about retro colors LOL. Hope you enjoy the video! Thank you so much for watching. Happy painting!

I love it ❤️ amd I love the color combo!
Love it
Love the colors, would love to see something in red, white and blue.
I couldn't agree more!!! Groovy and funky!! And absolutely AWESOME!!! ❤👍❤
Before the last stretch that you did, the painting looked like something one could use as a pattern on material for a cool, funky 60's shirt
It turned out exactly what it was meant for….fun, funky retro 60’s vibes!!! Love it
As a child of the 60's, I think it's really groovy. 😅 I love the colors and the head scratcher patterns.
You know what's coincidentally cool about this, not only does it look totally 60s but the green and blue in the middle looks like a fist with a thumbs up. Clearly a Peace and Love piece
Yess! I did see that when i edited it and it is so cool!
Molly, this reminds me of my grandma’s furniture back in the 70s! I know it is not your favorite color palette, but this is so much fun! When I first looked at it I got a 3-D feel from it! Beautiful!
Thank you!!
It’s people like Molly who makes you glad to be alive.😊
Retro vibes for sure. I’m glad you poured additional rings in the center. The swipes created the perfect retro feel as well. Interesting experiment.
It really reminds me of the early 70’s. The design is perfect for this color palette.
Love 💕 it! Sooo retro…..a masterpiece 🎉
It Definitely has the Retro feeling
I can remember having the gold and green refrigerators and bowls and Tupperware stuff for sure… Definitely hit that nail on the head… It’s got a cool vibe to it
This was so much fun to watch! I honestly never expected anyone to even attempt that colour palette tbh but somehow you actually made it work. It reminds me of a peacock feather and gives me retro vibes but also like an Asian Sari print feel with the almost paisley-shaped loops and whorls.
I am so glad you enjoyed the challenge and took it in the spirit of fun that it was made in, I think there's a reason that retro colours never stay in style for long (not sure they're anyone's favourite colour palette haha!) so I don't think it would ever have been a masterpiece but I genuinely smiled the whole video through because it looked like you were having a blast.
Thanks so much for taking a chance on my crazy idea and for the great content you put out every single week.
I shall have to put on my thinking cap to figure out a new challenge for you now! 😂
Loved this one and thank you for the suggestion! It was great getting out of my comfort zone! Thank you for your support!
@@MOLLYSARTISTRY You keep makin' 'em, I'll keep watchin' em! 😂 You are a joy to watch and give me so much inspiration and advice for starting out in my own fluid art journey.
This is so cool!! I’m a child of the 60’s, and this represents the decade well! Love it!!💕💕💕
This is sooooo retro 60’s and it’s fabulous! This will add so much character on someone’s wall. Love it!
The colors and design are perfect!! Growing up in the early 70s this reminds me of the best time of my life. It's actually relaxing to look at it and remember those days. It takes away my anxiety❤
Thank you!
Exactly what I was thinking.
This turned out so cool! It was definitely a “trust the process” painting. Lol! I get the retro vibe, but also a fall/Thanksgiving vibe, for some reason. ❤
Thank you! And yes definitely got Thanksgiving vibes too
I remember the 60s! Today is my birthday... yeah old! Great colors ❤
Happy birthday!
I love this, as a child of the 60’s, it brings back memories and happy times. At first I was questioning the color palate, but the fait d’accompli is wild, sassy, and fun!❤
Love the laughing devil in the upper right corner... fits right in with the retro vibe!
Hi Molly! Inagadadavida baby! What a neat throw back 😊 Love it!! Love you too! 🖌️🎨❤️

The center in much more green looks like an abstract fist. I love it!

Hi Molly! This turned out really kool! How about doing a peacock themed one? Love the colors of the bird! 😊
Oh, be still my little retro heart! Fabulous! Peace …
Reminds me of the colors of my kitchen in the early 70’s! My mom loved that gold color for the whole house! Gold furniture in the living room, with red shag carpet lol! I think it scarred me for life lol! Very cool.
I LOVE this color combo much more than I thought. I am so glad it did not get too muddy...I was worried about that a little at first. It turned out so amazing!!!
There are some features of this that i LOVE! I like it darker, too!
I love the purple and light blue combination, and the blue and green to
This was so much fun to watch❤

Absolutely love this. Reminds me of growing up , my mom’s living room had all of these colors.
Totally Groovy!!❤️❤️
Retro peacock!!! I really love that purply-brown. So cool Molly!!!!!
It definitely looks like it’s from the 60s. Well done I think it’s very cool! What a fun conversation.😊
I swear! My Aunt had a dress in this exact pattern in like 1971! 😄 And I’m sure I have seen afghans in this palette in my lifetime as well. Fun.
Nos llevaste a los años 70 retro total❤️👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
So much interest and motion in this painting. Looks so retro. Cool!
Egads...I felt like I was back in my 70s kitchen with the orange and greens!! Was never a fan of the color combo...but the 70s were awesome, so much fun. Wouldn't mind hanging this in my living room just to stare at the patterns and......ohhhh... the colors. Sorry, just had a flashback...lol You're right, Mollie, this was fun to watch.

Эксперимент удался! Прекрасная работа, как всегда!
Molly what a brilliant idea. This was so much fun. My mind is in hyper speed thinking what I'd like to see you do. Awesome painting
Very groovy I feel like I need to find my bell bottoms love it 😍
I just watched this clip again because someone made a comment, and it popped up on my feed.
Now I realized why this painting resonates so strongly with me. I had a skirt in 1974-5 with those colors. Just not the purple and the gold. It was big paisley shapes
Súper fun, hippie colors, love it.
Molly it looks trippy and so cool 😎. You rock!
You nailed it Molly! Definitely retro.
I think you should do it again because the outside is really cool and the retro is really in style right now! & I like the colors!💜💙🧡💛
Hi Molly
What a fun painting. Love the colors, great experiment with different colors. Leta
This colour combination soo reminds me of a cheesecloth skirt which was my favourite item to wear in the 1960’s. Now very much back in vogue.!!!xx
I loved the top left corner before you stretched it more. Still super funky and I Love it!
wow I'm super surprised at this one! Love it actually! Retro is super cool.
Wild thing...I think it's GROOOOVVVYYY.✌️
What a gorgeous horse! (Once you see it you won't unsee it, and it's a gorgeous piece to get stuck in your brain.) Before that final tilt, I was on the fence but the dried painting is outstanding.
See the face but thought fancy bird
I really love the greens and all of it really very pretty colors turned out beautifully Molly ❤
I would love to have seen more of the dark red. Very funky!
Love the color palette, yes turned out very retro. Would love to see you do this color palette and wreck it with the puddle pour technique. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🕊️✌️😀😁😃🤗
I would love to see deep purple, light purple, deep pink, light pink, white and maybe throw in some ocher gold and lime green. Love the head scratcher wreck.
Great result. Glad you had fun doing it.
Fun experiment, love that purple color ❤
Acid-trip- worthy! Lol. The inner feature almost looks like a partially closed fist like a Protesting symbol from the 60’s.
Feeling groovy! Love the. Colours. Love from NB Canada!
Wow!! So cool… not my colors, even as a child of the 70’s 😂 but I love this!! It’s amazing!! Great job…
Super cool retro design! ❤
I really love this one. The patterns are very cool!!
That was a fun video. Love the head scratcher as a tool. ❤
Very cool!
Loved this. I think another good combination would be the gold ochre with burgundy, forest green and silver for the holidays.
Wow! I agree not my choice of color combination either, but wow! That turned out amazing!
Molly, good morning
After you got done, pouring in looked like candy corns. Now, with it stretched out, it has so many different things in it for me. Fall leaves , campfires, and a little water. Very beautiful. Thank you for sharing another video. I have learned a lot to help me start out. No utube. I know I could not do what you do. Have a great day.
I Love it Molly😍 retro master piece to the rafters ...😂 such a fun 'out there' geo feel 😎 cool stuff 🥰
Very cool! I do like that you tilted it a little more. 😁😘
I’ve just started paint pouring! I’m loving it and absolutely love following you and learning. Excited to see this one.
