    It’s crazy how much the Gold Ochre disappeared but holy cow, how pretty is that blending! So gorgeous! I’ve never used thinner paints for a straight pour but now I wanna try. Haha! Beautiful job my friend! 🤗💕

      I just did a Dutch pour with yellow ocher, steel blue, sache red, 24k gold, black and copper with a white base. It was initially where you do the puddles and then run the skewer through them, but mine got to distorted, so I dutched it and love how it turned out. 😊

    Gorgeous Molly!!! I agree with another comment of the gold ocher and burgundy is beautiful. I absolutely love the color blending into the green. Overall this is a striking piece.

    Oh this is gorgeous… I love the results. My first thought is that you lost the majority of the gold ochre is because it’s denser than the other colors. I have a done challenge with Dave from The Left Brained Artist with densities/colors & most of the dense colors I have are “muted” or “vintage” like this one. It definitely made a huge difference… even so, I love your results!!

    You do such AMAZING work Molly!! I would LOVE to see you do a piece in different shades of purple and turquoise together. Those are my favorite color combination and I don't see too many pieces with those 2 colors together. So, if you could maybe try that at some point...I would REALLY LOVE IT!!     The lines along the edges remind me of one of my geodes. I love the finished painting. It is more colorful but it reminds me of hurricane photos.

    I think the gold ochre is playing nicely with the light blue. Reminds me of a sandy beach. It's just those deeper blues and yellows that are overpowering it.

    I've used the gold ochre with a deep burgundy, burnt umber and cadium orange deep hue. Gives a fall vibe.

    Golden Ochre as a background could work with dark/light greens..dark browns,,copper and golds..I feel like I need to try a Yeet pour with these colours..maybe with a splash of Reflex Green or Yellow...thanks Molly you are always inspiring me to try new things...

    Those greens are amazing! I bet the Gold Ochre would work well with an autumnal palette - a bright red, a maroon, a bright orange, a burnt orange, a bright yellow, a light warm brown and a dark warm brown. Maybe toss in an eggplant shade just for kicks!

    As far as the gold ocre & colors to try it with...maybe you could try doing it with red, maroon, dark chocolate & like a light orang or golden yellow! I think that would give it a warm retro maybe but almost like a sunset maybe!

    This was very pretty. Looks like either a fingerprint, or a weather map. Maybe next time you try that color you can add more layers of the gold ocher a long with thickening it up. Also using like a true red or a maroon.

    I love gold ochre, it's one of my 2 favorite colors from Amsterdam, I'm always running out of it! I use it with burgundy's and mauves, blues, turquoise is pretty with it. I prefer to use it in my abstract paintings tho, it's a stunning color in abstracts.

    I’ve used a deep red like cranberry/ burgundy - parchment - dark blue - golden ochre - red orange - brown - blk - Gold or a nice Copper works great too

    I'd love it if you tried out a navy blue with the gold ochre, but still with the thin paints? So you get those thin lines, but perhaps put a thin layer of white in between it act as a barrier?

    Oh, that's one of my fav colors and I've had some amazing results using a particular color combo (in an open cup pour) - navy, white, dark green, leaf green, gold, bronze and yellow with the ochre. (I always alternate colors so I have a clear delineation with this combo.) 😁
    Try it for yourself!!!

    While you were filling the cup, I was saying, “Molly, it’s all going to mix to green!” 😅 I think gold ochre might look really great with burgundy or Bordeaux red and also Nickel Azo gold. And definitely thicker paints!

    It’s interesting, the pigments in that color are Hansa Yellow and Red Iron Oxide, and FYI, it’s semi opaque, but you already know all this from the tube. Not a green person, but that is a gorgeous green. Thank you Molly
