I don't know if you're old enough to remember Lisa Frank prints. They were incredibly popular in school supplies. The lines are in her signature prints. I'm sure it's better without trying to capture the light just right. You could never get the lines the same using different paints. Though, you've successfully solved how Lisa Frank created her art. It's beautiful because you did this going in pretty much blindfolded. ❤😊
My goodness Molly this painting is absolutely gorgeous! I love how the colors blended together how many different colors are all over it!! so beautiful!!!!! Watercolor is my new passion. I started in October 2022 realized in February that I hadn’t poured in months so I mixed up a whole lot of paint made 10 paintings that all got messed up. Something was off, at least 1 something but all of my paintings got eaten up by the background and some of the other colors also ate others… I made galaxy paintings I absolutely loved and then they were completely messed up by my mixing error. All that to explain why I haven’t touched acrylic paints since. I have been exclusively doing watercolor. I uploaded all of my watercolors to insta and I’ve started posting some shorts here too (only 2 so far, but it’s been a week so I’m still working on my third video) I didn’t think that I could love brush painting again, after falling in love with pouring so deeply, but in this stage of my life, I needed something that didn’t have a big set up or tear down. I have 2 special needs kids 3&5 so my only painting time is when they are asleep and if they wake up I need to be able to stop that moment. Pouring just doesn’t work with my kids current needs but watercolor does. I’ve never known the magnificence of being able to leave a loaded paintbrush next to your pallet for minutes or days and yet still being able to just wet it and use that paint. In almost all of the stages of painting in watercolor you can simply put your brush on a horizontal surface and walk away and nothing will happen to negatively affect your supplies. It’s much more in line with what I need right now, and I am so thankful because I have to paint, I always have. It’s my therapy and self care and mindfulness practice. It’s just bliss.
That turned out amazing. I had started playing around with pearl paints the end of last year. I haven't been doing a lot of painting since my grandfather died and my uncle is holding my property all my paints and stuff hostage. I'm hoping to get back into it soon. I always tie my hair back when I'm painting and my big drag through was my apron. So I had ordered knew aprons and those seem to have been working out great. I love the lines in this and all the cluster or cells.
Hi Molly. I LOVE your videos. Is there a way to message you privately? I have some questions for you. I'm sure your busy with all your videos and business and everything, so your time would be greatly appreciated! I have had the same exact thing happen to me with your hair in the paint and everything. Definitely had days like that haha. Thanks Molly!!!
Another great one! Thanks for taking us along for your painting journey. I had a couple of ideas while watching this one: 1. What if you could shine light **through** these interference paints? Maybe an acrylic panel with offsets with diffusor and LEDs behind. I'm not sure if the colors would still show up, but it could be really awesome. 2. It might be cool to mix up normal paints into really muted colors to sort of replicate the intermediate look we're seeing with the interference paints. The contrast between almost white and black with lots of faint color streaks is almost cooler than the dried result.
Wow is so beautiful. At first I was asking why she make all those lines but the results are beautiful. You still amazing me you didn’t scared to try new things. Thank you for that.
I think this might be my favorite of your pearl paints?? The way it goes light to dark, the beautiful rainbows , the crazy motion. Its so so gorgeois. It'd interesting to see what it'd look like of you added an irridecsent silver or gold to it :0 but as it is def my fave
You have totally inspired me to go a little crazy 😂. I’m very new at acrylic pouring but your wrecked puddle pours inspired me to try it on one of my bathroom doors 😳. I haven’t tried the pearl paints yet but my door is so dang cool!!! Thank you for all the inspirations!!! You are awesome 🤩
Girl!!! You’ve got me hooked!! My next 2-3 videos are these Amsterdam Pearl paints and I’m having soo much fun watching the magic happen! I’ll tag you in each one so I’d love your thoughts, suggestions, etc! Thank you so much for ALWAYS teaching us something new and keeping me inspired!! Much love my friend!!🤗💕
Just watched this video and I have to say, I’m gobsmacked at; 1) the artistry and beauty of this piece, 2) how easy you showed that this kind of technique truly can be, and 3) thank you for being so inspirational to many people. I also thought it would be fun to see the picture hung with the lightest corner ( ^ ) up so it appears as if the colors are draining down and out the bottom.
@dandraducharme72 I am crazy about these paints, but they're super expensive, so I just ordered the same thing in Pearlex mica powders. Hopefully, those will go a lot further and work out cheaper in the long run.
OK you have me totally corn-fused ! You pour WHITE paint into your bigger cup. You say “now I’ll use blue, and now I’ll pour in this color that color” But all I see is white !!!!!! How do you know which white is what color !?!? THEN as the paint is all on the canvas, it slowly turns into different colors !! HOW DID YOU DID THAT 😊😊😊 BTW this painting is GORGEOUS !!!!!😊
LOVE the technique, think you're on to something SUPER COOL with this!!👍 The yellow seems to take a back seat, wonder what a painting would look like with just black & Pearl Yellow, wreck technique with spirals, minimal black again, hmm🤔 or TWO ring pour cups, multiple colors first pour with yellow as 2nd ring pour on top, hmm🤔. Gosh, Molly, my mind is like yours when you think of ideas on camera to us! You create ideas in us, too! ANYWHO, I'm REALLY LOVING this Pearl Series SO much!! I bet after resin and putting a light above paintings, the iridescence of these paintings EXPLODES off the wall!!💥 Thank You for your videos, your teaching & sharing. You really are an amazing artist😊
Loved this creation right from the beginning 😍 Your black & all the different Pearl colours, swept all over the circle. I get excited, as l wait to see what pearl colours appear ✨🌟 Love that one spot that looks like an eagle’s head🤗 The rest reminds me of being in Victoria this summer vacation, we went to a park full of peacocks. Such beautiful colours and the males were putting on quite a show for the females ❤Even shaking their puff in the back 🥰 Love all your colours that appear, l wonder why that one side went so dark. This painting is so fantastic, love, love the way you made it ❤️💕 🌹🌹🌹🤗✨🌟🧚♂️🧚♀️🧚Molly, no paint in your hair 😄
OMG, Molly, this is so very awesome. At first, when you were wrecking I kept thinking ‘too much’. And when you said “did I wreck too much” I said outloud ‘YES’. But when you tilted it, OMG the lines and ‘patterns’ are awesome. Pearls or interference paints/pigments are my favorite. Can’t wait to see a pearl paint swiped…….hint hint.
My daughter and I have been making Perler bead animal/mandala/flower pictures and then gluing them onto notebooks for the up-coming Mothers Day stall at her school. It’s Fun!
Oooh I love the darker side (that doesn't sound nice lol).. beautiful, Molly!! Awesome pearl series!! I've replied to several comments.. paint brand.. Amsterdam pearl set.. and No, I'm not a paid spokesperson 😂 Enjoy!! 😊🩵💚
Absolutely gorgeous! ❤💜💛💚💙🩷 I purchased some pearl paints from Amazon, but the tubes were trial size 😮. It's okay to test run with these paints. Wish me luck! Connie
I'm sure I'm overlooking the obvious, but all of the "colors" look white when they are layered into the mix. Of course, when they dry, I can see the rich (and beautiful!) colors. Am I missing something? (Besides intelligence!)
Hi Molly. Love this piece. As you know, I love doing resin (I sent you a picture), and love experimenting with abstract acrylic. I’m going to have a go at the pearls paints. See if I get confused or successful. 😅 👌🫶
Hi Molly !!! I love so much this painting. The many lines and the colors are so incredable. 🥳 You are super Funny wirh you anecdotesssss. You take it with a smile, and your husband also adds humor.😄❤ I love every video is tasty. You are so interesting and funny it brings happiness in my life when I listen to you. 💗 Thank you for sharing your tries, for explaining... thank you for all that you are. 💞🤗💞
This is so beautiful, Molly! The colors of the pearlescents are amazing! Not sure how you are going to top this one!! 😍 Wonder what it would look like if you wrecked it in a spiral only covering the whole surface of the canvas...hmm?! I know your pour kind of is like a spiral anyway, but if you used your tool to spiral I bet it would look great because I love that "pulled through" look of the wreck! Ooh...like an oval spiral like rings around a planet. I just love these paints and don't want you to stop using them...lol! 😋
Amazing!!!! When you pull back the colors really come through... it's gorgeous! I was wondering, what if you did like a splash? Still have the black base, but then either tip a cup (or something else) with pearl paint layered in it over onto the canvas so it sort of splashed on the canvas instead of poured? it'd be a little messy, but you could try to make sure it was a small splash so it didn't get too messy.. It'd make some really cool and different patterns.. just a thought. :)
Loving the swirls, and the dry version, Just WOW!. I think a black and white, or black white and Gold and maybe red, done like that would've stunning as well
That's beautiful - I loved it in the 7:57 minute before you started moving it - it looked like an ink drawing - so so stunning. As you asked at the beginning of the video, I'm a wood carver mainly but do ink drawing - just done my first ever resin pour + want to have the confidence to do some fluid art - which is why I watch your videos (+ the others you did the course with) I will very soon but I'm having problems getting some of the paints I want here in Wales 😮 Tho I did have a delivery of Australian floetrol 2 days ago - long message apologies but I love watching + listening to you - thankyou ❤❤❤
I have ordered the pearlescent paints today! I have three family members who just bought houses, and I will be working on gifts for them! I love these pictures! Thanks!
12:31 I think your work is amazing! The painting you did in this video came out so different than I expected, WOW! I am a beginner the problems I have is at times the paints do not flow to the end corners of the canvas, fixing this is extremely difficult to say the least. However, I will over come this. I am sure!
Molly you’re hilarious, so funny, appreciate you for sharing and been watching you for long time. Been watching ur videos long time love ur work/style it’s great to watch real!
I have been trying these and love the results. I have a big gallery show coming and every time I think I am done I see one of your you tubes and I have to try that for the show. Now i have to do this one. I love it. ❤
So pretty, but all your pearl pours are beautiful. I want to try the pearl pour, I watched all your pearl pours and can't decide which technique to do. LOL. I'm still curious how a straight pour or ring pour would do without any black in the cup, just black as the base. So many choices.. 😅
As soon as you started pouring off, I saw some of the colors and I'm yelling out to you to look. So you have viewers that talk back to you. The painting, so far is my favorite. I haven't painted since November because I have taught myself to make jewelry. Got to share my time so I can start painting again.
Molly I love this one. Is the black paint pearl as well. What do you mix your your pearl paints with? Water. Glue. Floetrol. And also are the pearl paints made by Amsterdam?
I love this piece. It is absolutely stunning. The pearl paints are such a fun thing to see develop. What causes the " black freckles" that I see in so many fluid art projects? Always wondered because, while it can enhance some paintings it can also distract from others.
😮that turned out beautifully. The swirls the movement of it. The colors are amazing. Love love love this one!!!😊
Yay! Thank you!
So beautiful, Molly!! These paints are pure magic and you make the most gorgeous pieces!!❤️
So pretty!!
Hahaha that story about hair and dripping etc had me giggling! I do that!! Still need those elbow gloves and maybe a cute hair tie? LOL
So beautiful. Such a great idea. 😊
Thank you! 😊
This is gorgeous! It reminds me of peacock feathers.
My thought exactly!
YES! I saw the same thing instantly ❤
You should paint a peacock in the center of this one! Its gorgeous.. the swirls look like peacock feathers!
One with just black, green, blue, and purple would really look like peacock feathers.
Yes! Light, airy peacock feathers. Mesmerizing ❤
This is terrific!!!! What medium did you use?
How do you add color to the white?
Do you sell this paint your using now. It looks all white but I know it turns to colors. I’d love to try it tku
WOW MOLLY! THIS IS STUNNING! ❤❤❤ I can’t believe how many colors came through once it dried!😮❤
My most favourite one you’ve done I think in the Pearlescent’s. I absolutely love all those fine lines! 🎉
Where do l buy them white coloured paints ? They are super
I don't know if you're old enough to remember Lisa Frank prints. They were incredibly popular in school supplies. The lines are in her signature prints. Sorry for the loss of your grandfather 😢
Honestly Molly I love this !! Think it might be my favourite so far 😊❤
What you've done with those paints is awesome. I wonder how much it would make the patterns pop with a resin coating over it. 😊❤
Wow this is great I love the many swirls and lines in this painting and the color just beautiful
Man O' Man is an understatement!!! This is amazing! Thanks for all the inspiration Molly ❤😊
My jaw dropped when it was drying but when you showed it completely dry I was speechless!! It’s soooo pretty!!
Wow, I think this one might be my favorite of this series! Thanks for sharing Molly!

Stunning! It looks like the gorgeous marbled end papers ypu find in old books, and I just love those!
That is SO COOL! I love this one!
I really love all the wrecking you did. The composition is outstanding and I love the colors.❤
Thank you so much!
Molly, I really love this! It really is a lot of fun!! I had trouble the first time I used pearl paints, but you are inspiring me to try again!

Really Recked Ring!! Great Wet and SUPER Dry. Fantastic.
Glad you enjoyed it
So pretty. Its like an abstract interpretation of Alice in Wonderland. So cool
Wow! "Intricate details" is an understatement! So so gorgeous! Absolutely brilliant! 💐

Great job on this Molly. I want to get some pearl paints and try it out myself.
I love the lines in this painting! Molly you inspire me so much ♥
I love this Molly ! I was a little on the fence about the amount of wrecking, but it came out amazing !!
What if you did the same painting only adding some of the pearl white to it??
I think this is my favorite one of the pearl paints that you have done!! Gorgeous!!
Oh thank you!
Stunning!!!! I love this series, and this one is amazing.
Yay, thank you!
I am loving these pearl paintings! ❤ Beautiful!
Thank you so much!
Wow this is gorgeous Molly! You are so inspiring. I'm really excited to get my pearl paints this week and to try this technique (on a smaller scale!).
WOW, AMAZING; my favorite of your pearl pieces!!!
Thank you so much!
I love it! It looks almost like a black light poster 😁
I would love to see how this turns out with silver 🥰
This is absolutely amazing❤

This is my all time favorite so cool!!!!
This is the best one yet. Love it 😁
Just watched this video and I have to say, I’m gobsmacked at; 1) the artistry and beauty of this piece, 2) how easy you showed that this kind of technique truly can be, and 3) thank you for being so inspirational to many people. I also thought it would be fun to see the picture hung with the lightest corner ( ^ ) up so it appears as if the colors are draining down and out the bottom.
Molly, this painting is gorgeous ❤
I love how the colors just pop once it dried. Almost like stained glass. 💙
It reminds me of a peacock 👌🫶
Wow, this is insane!!! Already shared it with my group!
You're the best!
Speechless, in a good way
Ooooooohhh!!! I am definitely getting some more of these and trying this. It is STUNNING! It's like an abalone shell or an oil slick shimmer.
Great way to describe it! ❤
@dandraducharme72 I am crazy about these paints, but they're super expensive, so I just ordered the same thing in Pearlex mica powders. Hopefully, those will go a lot further and work out cheaper in the long run.
Brilliant ❤ I've been playing with the pearls too they are so much fun, but the yellow never seems to show up much 😕
Holy cow Molly... This is stunning. An absolute must try for me! Love, love love this piece!

What causes the " black freckles" that I see in so many fluid art projects? Always wondered because, while it can enhance some paintings it can also distract from others.
Omgosh that's amazing 👏 really love this one Molly, thanks for sharing ❤ can't wait for your next video 😀
Hi Molly, hope you and your family stay safe with the hurricane coming. Love your art😊 Angela from Australia
