Ingredients
Onion -2
Tamarind - small piece
Salt -
Grated Coconut -3 tbsp
Curry leaves -2
Kashmiri chilli -4
Whole normal chilli -2
Water -
Sugar or jaggery -
Seasoning
Oil -2tbsp
Mustard seeds -1/2tsp
Urad dal -1/4tsp
Curryleaves -few
dry red chilli -1
Method
Take 2 onions add it to the grinder jar of the mixie. Add few whole Kashmiri chilly and red chilly to the sliced onions. Add small piece tamind. Add salt and curry leaves. Add a pinch of sugar/ jiggery (optional). Add grated coconut. Grind this with little water at a time. Grind it well. Check the sourness. And adjust accordingly. You can roast the whole chilly if you want.
You can season this chutney. Take some oil in a saucepan. When it is heated up add mustard seeds, urid daal, whole red chilly and curry leaves. Add this on top of the chutney.
