@@Rosannatxt so I figured it out if you go to the top right you can hit sign in and then if you don’t have a account with notion you you can’t use this but if you make one then hit the copy button on the top right it copy’s it to your account then it working I hope that helps but if not idk how to explain it better
@@pikachgirl5579 Correct, that is how you're supposed to use a notion template. You need to make an account and duplicate the template to be able to use it. It also explains this in the instructions when you get the download link. This is correct and means the template is working. Am I right to assume that after copying it did work and the numbers now go up if you use it?

I do have a second channel about productivity and Notion where I do explain some things about Notion. I don't think I'll do an exact video on how to make these but with some basic Notion Knowledge you should be able to make this fairly easily! My second channel is Extratxt but for some beginner Notion techniques I'd recommend Thomas Frank! :D

I’ve also never heard of the pack challenge, and it sounds like so much fun cause I think I have the majority of the packs, and have never played with some of them! I've been playing through the Star Sign legacy challenge by GinovaSims, that would be a cool one for a tracker. I love the idea, I might have to revisit my long abandoned Not So Berry challenge now, or maybe just start fresh.

I'm currently creating a legacy challenge where each generation is inspired by a different Greek god and I'm also a Notion girlie. I was already using Notion to write down the rules, but now you've inspired me to make a full on tracker for it!❤✨ P.S. these are incredible! i'm doing a rotational build a city challenge, and doing various different legacy challenges within the households of the save, so keeping track of everything is an absolute nightmare. i've made just a simple thing with onenote for some of it, but this more interactive tracker is absolutely delightful and will make it so much easier. subscribing and keeping an eye out for everything you make and using it as inspiration for the page for the BACC itself. i'd suggest that one for you, but it'd be a massive undertaking for you and you've already gotten such great suggestions!

Yay!!! 🩷 Making a plain one would be quite hard since the whole template is based on filters that would be empty when the template is empty 😅 As in, if I’d deliver that you’d be off faster building the whole thing from scratch in notion yourself😉

I kove the Sims,. I love notion. And i was looking for a legacy challenge to play that utilizes as many packs as possible because i have them all but i never played through them seperately. this is PERFECT. I might veen abandon my current legacy to start yours I would love a template for the Whimsy Challenge! I could make it probably myself though
I love it when people who love the sims and love notion find this video, every single time i'm like YES ME TOO!! 🤭 I have the whimsy challenge on my list! I recently had to take a small break from creating templates amongst other things due to health reasons but I just picked it back up last week. I have a backlog of 52 though so if you want it soon and you know how I can recommend making your own haha
I just play through 5 gens (the mim) or 10 gens (the max) and I just roll with it I don't ever have a plan going into it besides that I have to go through 5-10 gens. I ALWAYS have mods and cc, though, and I have my last gen have only 1 child so that I have another gen to come back to. Sometimes, I'll even play it out as like a long lost legacy kinda thing. I'll come back to that last child like 2 years after I finished that gen challenge, and it's so fun remembering and playing out with that last gen. I do like to list important things and turning points that happen during the entire gen challenge, noting what gen this thing happened in and what Sim it affected. And of course, I note what happened. Something I also do is I'll add different species into the gens, for example, witches or vamps and so I'll end up with maybe the 3rd gen being a mix of vamps and witches or other things. There's so much you can do, and that's the thing I love most. If you can't already tell, I take the Sims Gen challenges very seriously, and it actually brings me joy and all the emotions with everything that happens. If you have a mod that allows you to edit how good your sims fertility is, then you can set the fertility to low chances so that it gives more emotions even to you, not just your Sim. It adds a fear of "omg what if this is where this gen ends" when I play I always have realistic mods and especially more traits and trait slots. You get the idea. I love depth. I love detail. I put myself in my sims shoes throughout the whole challenge. And when I come back to where I left off like 2 years after I'm hit with nostalgic bliss and it's the best thing ever. I always remember EVERYTHING that happened. When you take it seriously, it is when it actually gets good, and you actually get pulled into it as if you were your Sim in game. I love all challenges, but the gens is definitely my fav.
Now I want to restart the sims in bloom challenge. I currently have the nsb challenge going and I’m starting the pack legacy. I’m doing the whimsy legacy as well!

I started my very first legacy challenge as I’m tired of the mundaneness of starting and giving up after two generations. It became basic and boring. I came across Morbid’s and decided to play in a legacy format. So, t begin updating my mods, batting period CC for 1300’s and realize I need a better family tree. The family tree I chose by a RUclips referral created a back tree and it broke my family. Everyone a baby has any need, everyone snaps back to anatomical position that stops them in their tracks and everyone has to pee all at once. SO ANGRY!!! My game is no longer playable and now I have to work on finding the broken mod.
Do you have a link to the basic one? because ai cannot seem to find it. The only “basic” one I can find is just a regular “play 10 gens” but that doesn’t have any goals so I would not know how to make a tracker for it 😅 It is already on my list but I’ve yet to find the source info!

these are incredible! i'm doing a rotational build a city challenge, and doing various different legacy challenges within the households of the save, so keeping track of everything is an absolute nightmare. i've made just a simple thing with onenote for some of it, but this more interactive tracker is absolutely delightful and will make it so much easier. subscribing and keeping an eye out for everything you make and using it as inspiration for the page for the BACC itself. i'd suggest that one for you, but it'd be a massive undertaking for you and you've already gotten such great suggestions!

Making a plain one would be quite hard since the whole template is based on filters that would be empty when the template is empty 😅 As in, if I’d deliver that you’d be off faster building the whole thing from scratch in notion yourself😉

About the Taylor swift gen challenge.. there is also a era’s legacy challenge, in the challenge (if I remember correctly) your sims follow like the road map of how Taylor went from highschool girl to global superstar. I can’t remember where I saw it, but maybe you can do that one aswell!

I love it when people who love the sims and love notion find this video, every single time i'm like YES ME TOO!! 🤭 I have the whimsy challenge on my list! I recently had to take a small break from creating templates amongst other things due to health reasons but I just picked it back up last week. I have a backlog of 52 though so if you want it soon and you know how I can recommend making your own haha

I just play through 5 gens (the mim) or 10 gens (the max) and I just roll with it I don't ever have a plan going into it besides that I have to go through 5-10 gens. I ALWAYS have mods and cc, though, and I have my last gen have only 1 child so that I have another gen to come back to. Sometimes, I'll even play it out as like a long lost legacy kinda thing. I'll come back to that last child like 2 years after I finished that gen challenge, and it's so fun remembering and playing out with that last gen. I do like to list important things and turning points that happen during the entire gen challenge, noting what gen this thing happened in and what Sim it affected. And of course, I note what happened. Something I also do is I'll add different species into the gens, for example, witches or vamps and so I'll end up with maybe the 3rd gen being a mix of vamps and witches or other things. There's so much you can do, and that's the thing I love most. If you can't already tell, I take the Sims Gen challenges very seriously, and it actually brings me joy and all the emotions with everything that happens. If you have a mod that allows you to edit how good your sims fertility is, then you can set the fertility to low chances so that it gives more emotions even to you, not just your Sim. It adds a fear of "omg what if this is where this gen ends" when I play I always have realistic mods and especially more traits and trait slots. You get the idea. I love depth. I love detail. I put myself in my sims shoes throughout the whole challenge. And when I come back to where I left off like 2 years after I'm hit with nostalgic bliss and it's the best thing ever. I always remember EVERYTHING that happened. When you take it seriously, it is when it actually gets good, and you actually get pulled into it as if you were your Sim in game. I love all challenges, but the gens is definitely my fav.

@@beckyxogames6472 I searched for that but as I expected, just a generic legacy challenge doesn't come with rules. Its just a challenge to play through 10 generations. I could not make a tracker out of that because there is nothing to tick off 😅

I love these templates.
I started my very first legacy challenge as I’m tired of the mundaneness of starting and giving up after two generations. It became basic and boring. I came across Morbid’s and decided to play in a legacy format. So, t begin updating my mods, batting period CC for 1300’s and realize I need a better family tree. The family tree I chose by a RUclips referral created a back tree and it broke my family. Everyone a baby has any need, everyone snaps back to anatomical position that stops them in their tracks and everyone has to pee all at once.
SO ANGRY!!! My game is no longer playable and now I have to work on finding the broken mod.

Do you have a link to the basic one? because ai cannot seem to find it. The only “basic” one I can find is just a regular “play 10 gens” but that doesn’t have any goals so I would not know how to make a tracker for it 😅 It is already on my list but I’ve yet to find the source info!
@@Rosannatxt I couldn't find anything either. The reason I asked though was because I remember seeing rules for it somewhere, it was like you had to complete your career, you had to have your kids have an A, things like that but I can't find it.
