Thank you for the tips! After looking through, I've realized that Notion is the exact thing I was looking for without realizing LOL
I've always wanted to have something that could include both Sim information as well as their pictures, and Notion literally has a wiki-esque template that you can use; so, now I don't have to flip between google template and screenshot folders just to see images of my sims! It's all just right there in their designated areas :'>
Yuuussss - big notion fan! I literally use it for pretty much everything in my life. For me, it was way easier to learn than Excel and I love using it for tracking my sims.
Also, you can change the icon that’s associated with a property! In the database hit edit property and then just click on the icon next to the name you typed as that column’s title to change it - was an absolute game changer for me! 😅
i've been seeing more and more simmers using notion and I can see why! this video was so informative and I'm totally moving over _all_ my hoods to notion.

Oh this is lovely. The tags and drag/drop are major ups for me. The group toggles are also amazing, I have way too many households and am starting to get lost in my sheets 😂 Time to make the switch to notion, thanks for sharing!

I've been looking for a better way to organize my hoods cause my excel sheets are starting to become unmanageable 😂😂 I'll have to try this out! Thanks for the tutorial 😄
For me, I really like how i can copy certain things from one view and hide what's not relevant... like I used the households on a Taxes view of my data, that has the households and their networth, tax bracket, and a simple formula for determining how much they owe in taxes. I find Excel way more intuitive for the calculations but I managed to figure it out!

When I first started playing Sims 2 I found online a Sims 2 data base which was nicely put together and pretty easy to use. Unfortunately, whoever created it didn't update it past Open For Business so some things there is no place for. For instance there is a space to check off is you sim is a supernatural but there's not spot for witches or werewolves so I have to add that info elsewhere . I still use it though.

I still haven't set up my rotational gameplay tracker bc I hate exel with all my heart 😁 it's pain to load it up on the same machine and edit it on mobile is even worse. Let's hope Notion is free and editable offline 👀
Yes it is free (there may be paid versions I am not sure, but I don't use them!) and if you download the app on your computer/phone I am pretty sure it works offline!
ooh imma give this a try. due to me not being able to see anything due to your dark mode on im going to have to wing it but i get te gist of it from what i could see. also not complaining about dark mode i use it all the time i just couldnt see anything through glare and dark writing
Lol I always use dark mode! I guess it is a matter of the device/screen you are watching on that effects how easily seen it is.

I love watching these videos but in the end I'm a lazy bitch. Everything I need to know I just write in the household description. If I don't, it just wasn't important.😅 Wish I was this organized. I also can't play in window mode which would make it easier. But unfortunately my game alwayw crashes in window mode. The android version could maybe work for me. But am I motivated enough for it?
i like notion a lot more than excel, but my sheets feel a little... bare for my bacc? anyone have any suggestions or tips of what i should include? :3
Good question! Do you use secondary aspirations that could be included? Do you list college degrees? Those could be extras to add. I use a traits mod and I list each sim's traits which fills up a good bit of space. I also make note of occult/non-occult status. Maybe even a place to list future plans/notes/etc.?
