I really love this series as I am in the process of restoring my z32 as well. It would be cool to see you guys replace the suspension components ie like FUCAS, RUCAS, Tension rods, hell even sway bars. Keep up the awesome work!

Omg I used to own a black 2 seater 300zx 15yrs ago. When imports were still a new thing in Melbourne. I had those exact volk racing wheels too. I was running front 245/40/18 and rear 285/35/18 . I had my volks polished it looked tough with the deep dish rear rims and phatt tires.
Quite a new follower, loving this series, a 300ZX is one of my so called reasonable dream cars. Wish you had shredded the old tyres in spectacular fashion before getting new ones though(unless they were dangerous ofc.)!!! ;)
power3244 we have pretty strict laws regarding smoke shows here in Australia. To the put where the police are known to chase up your car if they find footage of burnouts online. But don't stress, we will make it to the track/pad eventually.
Oh geez, that sucks...I personally don't see the problem, as long as it's away from residential areas and on a road/lot with no traffic at the time, but gotta stick to the rules indeed. I look forward to seeing that, as well as the rest of the build, good luck with it! :)
A new set of those AD08's would offer more grip than the Federals, and about the same percentage more expensive too. Nice work on fitting the correctly sized 295 to the 10 inch rim. I have rim envy now, I only have 9.5" rims... but I have 5 sets of them and a race car to fit them lol. Nice dig at MCM...
Yep. Unfortunately on a budget. But the federals will do exactly what we want them to do at this power level. Dig? No, we don't dig. That doesnt sound like Intake! at all. But we do like to take the odd jab. Don't hate! Appreciate.
Tom Ault I think you can see where the bead is destroyed where the tyre is being removed. We wanted to put the 245s on the front rims and remove the 225s completely but they are not worth the risk.
TBH! We drove 800m on them back to Cameraman Ben's and its been parked there since tuesday when we filmed. Sidekick Nick is driving it home for me on Sunday when we film episode 10. But hell, the z32 is loud as piss on a tin roof in comparison to the x5 so I won't notice any roadnoise.
