You cannot use any shampoo after applying any type of relaxer. You MUST only use a NEUTRALISING SHAMPOO!!!!!!! There's a reason why it's intended to be used after relaxing hair cause you gon break and damage your hair. Great video. Thank you 😊
Oh Yes , you so right ! Easy waves is the best relaxer for blowout and I've been using it for years. I always wanted my hair straight but everytime the results is a blow out 😂😂😂. I roller set my hair sometimes if I want a straight texture and use a hairfood
I forgot to mention , I use the Chebe hair butter on my hair but I apply it on the scalp first and it makes my hair grow super faster, my hair is soft and manageable then I only use a afro comb. And I'm also selling the chebe butter to ladies with African hair. Can be use on virgin natural hair and relaxed hair. I cut my recently but I regrets it immediately after , but I will never use any other relaxer besides easy waves for blow out , it's the no1 product.
Gud morning ma i have stubborn thick natural hair and i haven't relax it b4 its two yrs now an i wanna blow it out today how can I maintain it without my hair breaking or turning to relaxer hair please help me God bless you
Hey there. Your hair is beautiful. What products can I use after blowing my Hair to keep it soft and smooth? My hair and scalp usually become dry after two weeks when the growth starts to form. I normally use hairfood to moisten my scalp and to make the growth become softer. The growth makes my hair painful to comb and also my scalp.
Hey love, thank you 😊 I had the same problem. I’d recommend that you keep on using hair food (try the EasyWaves Shea Butter hair food) but also use use a detangling/hydrating (water based) hairspray, spray your scalp and growth. The spray will wet your hair and make it easy for you to comb it. I use the EasyWaves Oil Sheen Comb Out Conditioner spray and sometimes the Perfect Choice Oil Moisturizing spray.
Hi, I see yoou keep the relaxer for 3-4 minutes. Do you apply on your whole head and then set a timer for 3-4 minutes or give yourself 3-4 minutes to apply it and washh it off as soon as youre done? I hope my question makes sense 🙈
Thanks for the response. But over a few relaxing kits, you're going to be processing the ends over and over again as you wash the relaxer out. It will gradually get weaker. Coconut won't build up the hair strands after. I was wondering how to protect the ends in the first place.
@@annia3685 Oh okay I hear you, but it’s unlikely that the ends will weaken when you wash your hair because of the relaxer, remember relaxer is not effective when mixed with water. You should avoid heat at all to protect your hair.
@@annia3685 you can use Vaseline on the processed parts because Vaseline creates a barrier so nothing can penetrate or leave your hair strands. I saw another girl do that on her relaxed hair and it works
I have a question. What happens when you get some hair growth at the roots of your hair? Is this process something that you have to do every once in a while?
Hi love, before you blow out your hair just make sure you cut out the relaxed and leave the new growth. You can only start blowing on natural hair for better results.
Hi Can I do a blow out on a relaxed hair? I usually relax my hair and it's been 3 months since I've relaxed it, so I want to change it to natural hair, can I do a blow out next time instead of relaxing it?
Hey love. No, otherwise you won’t get the “natural look” results. I recommend you change to natural by cutting the relaxed parts of your hair (leaving the new growth) and start blowing out your natural hair for better results. ❤️
It won't accept moisture anymore 😭took my natural hair for granted 🥺. Yes it was stupid thick and kept making knots but the moment I apply water or hairspray my hair was good. Relaxed hair wasn't this difficult to care for..
Your hair is like mine. I now use moisturizer or hair food for my scalp only. To achieve soft hair, I suggest you use a waterbased hairspray, your hair will stay hydrated and easy to comb. When you spray your hair make sure to spray from the roots and with sections. I hope my advice helps you ❤️😘
You relaxed it. If you want to blow it out, add oil or conditioner to your relaxer, that way, you are doing a taxlex, and not relaxing it. If you want to do it like Vee did, you should rinse out the relaxer almost immediately after finishing applying it, or like 5 minutes later.
Just came here to say a Blow out is a blow out. A relaxer is a relaxer. Please use neutralizing shampoo so y’all hair don’t fall out from the chemicals that are still active in your hair.
Nokuxola Ncwane Hi love, I mentioned you should keep the relaxer for 5 minutes or less. Maybe you missed that part, it must not stay longer than 5minutes
@@Valentia_Love i guess i did sorry, anyway besides that i loved the video and you have such a beautiful afro. Since lockdown i have to do my own hair so its been rough now i have a solution ❤️

😍I cut my hair last year wanting an afro..it's been a horrible journey because I've got coarse rich hair. I'm definitely going to do this.

I've been very indenial about the fact that my hair needs this. The texture is just too ungovernable. I'm doing it.
I can’t wait to see the results 🙌🏽
Me too. Ungovernable, nice word. You want to be natural but when you can't do anything with it, there's no joy in it
I did mine a week ago,no regrets.
I love how my hair turned out how long do I wait to do another blow out
Loved this video, I usually use black silk hair relaxer but I will definitely try easy wave now. Thank you
Noxolo Mqadi that’s awesome, please let me know how it goes
How did it go ? Black silk says you should not use a hydroxide relaxer after using it.
You've got such beautiful healthy hair😍.
Thank you babe ❤️
Cool
For how long do I stay with chemical when blowing out my hair

Hey babe, I think you should try not to comb it the first you try it and see how it looks, if you don’t like it you can try combing it the next time?

What happens if you don't renew it? Will your hair damage?
Hi Genie, yes it will damage it. Try not staying more than 3/4 months without renewing it.
What about the already processed parts of your hair? How do you protect the processed hair when washing the relaxer out?
Try coconut oil treatment after washing the relaxer out and use a nourishing shampoo and conditioner

Yes, you’ll have to do it every once a while. Once you feel your growth is too much... you blow it out again.
I do it every 2-3months

I did a blow out at the salon and I got burned and now am dealing with heat damage. It sucks for real.
I’m so sorry that happened to you. I honestly wouldn’t even recommend going to the salon. I’ve seen many people end up with straight hair.
