Possible apply a moisturising leave in conditioner or spritz it with water before applying a butter/oil because the oil and butter serves as a sealant so if you apply butter/oil on dry hair then you are sealing dryness. ❤️
I feel sad to see so many people struggling with hating their 4c hair. I think the hatred can be solved with education about hair care to improve the widespread imagery around black hair and also building one's self worth.

You should have put it on the hair first and on the scalp last that way it would still have time to process ur hair and u could wash it of when u feel ur scalp burning.

Blow drying breaks the hair and changes its shape I normally blow dry it when I’m going to the plait my hair at the salon so that means I can spend months without using a hairdryer
