9:20 Agreed. The only thing I'd ever really change would be Walney Bridge being built in the late 70s for some reason instead of 1908, just because it seems weird. Though it does mean the whole car ferry thing makes no sense.
15:12 An RWS research about Toby and Daisy? Isn't Toby already confirmed to be No.68221 and Daisy to just be a one-off in the IOS book? Even if it's just implied, Awdry wrote the IOS in an "in universe" context as if he is documenting everything and not just outright saying "this engine is the basis for that character", which means this is the exact engine he intends Toby to be
I found out that the Clayton Class 17 diesels (Derek's basis) worked in west Cumbria around Egremont / Whitehaven so not difficult to imagine one visiting Sodor. The USA tank and Class 07 fit very well on Sodor; I agree with you!
I found your Diesel videos very interesting; amazing that you narrowed down Diesel to 1 out of 996 Class 08s and that the real Diesel still exists and not too far from me!
I think we can just conclude James is LMS No.12620 by adding 00001 to the last of the former L&YR Class 28s. But we do need to check if this number was occupied before 1925 when James arrived, as I can’t find a reliable source (or one at all).
James only appears once in my RWS fan stories as he isn't my favourite character. His only appearance is in one I'm working on where Derby or Matlock fails at Norramby with gearbox troubles and he gets diverted rounds the Ballahoo loop, much to his disdain!
The Hornby James model was the old Triang 3F (tender engine version of Jinty). I think the Hornby Midland Compound 4-4-0 No. 1000 looks a lot like Edward.
@sodorislandmodels6332 I have its allocations from 1948 to 1951 1-Jan-48 IPS Ipswich Mar-48 COL Colchester Mat-48 STR Stratford Oct-48 IPS Ipswich Jan-50 Recoded 32B Ipswich May-51 withdrawn
New character as in cgi? I quite like Samson or Bradford. I would love the msr to have stayed open, but the story and Stuart and Falcon going to the Skarloey are good things!
I like Derek & Salty; I feel the Class 07 & 17 would fit well with Sodor & the Railway Series. I've decided Salty is D2988 and arrived on Sodor in 1973, the year the real D2988 was withdrawn.
51:03 I don't think you said a name there "Y'know what i think i'm gonna go after all the other ones i said wouldn't therefore i think he would've been a great um... addition to The Railway Series"

Guys I think he likes derek
Guilty as charged
I like Derek as well
🙂
@@1020dane Me too!
😁
Thanks for answering my question! And I will definitely be looking out for RWS Research 7!
Cheers!
21:54 thats me!
Thanks for awnsering! Ill be sure to keep this in mind for future edits i make :)
No worries
6:36 Nostalgia 😊
🙂
7:46 I wonder if an original character construction crane and Kelly could have their own story?
I've not really read the ers, I recognise Brad though!
@sodorislandmodels6332 I did mean the crane in the image, that's all.
Ah! I understand
Nice idea for a RWS Emily!
Thanks for answering the questions!
Thanks :)
1:22 mine is either the black 5s or 9fs
Good choices

There is more to both than meets the eye 🙂

Great!
Thank you for awnsering my question
No problem :)
Harold’s stripes running down his face look like he’s wearing a medal.
Well, he is a hero 😁
Thanks for answering my question.
No problem

Yeah I will look into James but probably not until the year after next, good idea though
20:22 It's a shame both Lady and Proteus weren't used more in the tv series, just my opinion.
That's true
14:00 “Donald Duck”
haha
Haha
40:22 Love the paint on this version of the spiteful brakevan, much better than the tv series verson. 😊
Cheers!
38:32 😂😂😂😂 love this Bulgy edit.
Thanks 😁
Thank you for answering my questions.
No worries!
I wonder what the 5AT Advanced Technology Steam Locomotive would be called as a rws/ttte character??
Interesting idea! To me it looks European, so something that is used in both Britain and Mainland would be good
41:50 love these rws style road vehicles, both thomas characters, non thomas characters and original characters too.
Thanks!
This was a great video. Keep up the good work 👏
Thank you! Will do!

He's not my favourite either
39:52 hope we can see an adaptation of this mavis ghost story in future, sounds awesome. 👻
Thanks I'd love to do it
Definitely get back to Sodor: The Early Years. The creator is still uploading with the series now being called Sodor: The Modern Years.
Oh nice!
Thanks for the Answer
And keep up the hard work
Thanks!
31:56 Water truck
Yup
I did not know you collect ertl Thomas models. You'll love my ertl collection videos. You'll also love my model railway videos as well.
Nice, yes I like the ertl stuff
I've already imagined that Hank is a USATC S160 built in World War 2 to the UK loading gauge.
Yeah I have heard this before

Yeah :)
I wonder if a cement mixer wagon could be turned into a character?? Just an idea on my part.
Why not!
@@sodorislandmodels6332 exactly 💯 I fid see a small 4 wheel flat wagon with a cement mixer ontop earlier, just an idea on my part. 😊
That's pretty cool
@@sodorislandmodels6332 I did leave the link to the page but it disappeared 😔
😢
Toby is easy to research as the Rev confirmed who Toby is based on which is C53/LNER J70 No.127/7127/8221/68221.
Yeah I need to look more into the engine
@sodorislandmodels6332 I have its allocations from 1948 to 1951
1-Jan-48 IPS Ipswich

That's right
Which is your favorite Thomas and Friends new character? Do you think the Mid Sodor Railway should remain open and in business?
New character as in cgi? I quite like Samson or Bradford. I would love the msr to have stayed open, but the story and Stuart and Falcon going to the Skarloey are good things!
I like Derek & Salty; I feel the Class 07 & 17 would fit well with Sodor & the Railway Series. I've decided Salty is D2988 and arrived on Sodor in 1973, the year the real D2988 was withdrawn.
I like em both :)
I wish murdoch exsited in the railway series
Yeah he's cool
I always hate it when someone says to Be Continued!
Haha
51:03 I don't think you said a name there
"Y'know what i think i'm gonna go after all the other ones i said wouldn't therefore i think he would've been a great um... addition to The Railway Series"
Neville 😁 sorry I had been talking for about 45 minutes straight by that point haha
Waleswood is peak ercy
It's cute
Edit: an Airbus a300 in The Railway Series Style and all the other Airbus aircraft and Boeing aircraft
What's that?
@sodorislandmodels6332 just search up Airbus or Boeing then you find out
Okay
I'm going with Oliver being 1453.
Same
Have you ever watched TUGS?
I did
Yes, a few episodes
I know where abouts i would love to live on the island of sodor is crovans gate 🇬🇧
Oh yeah good shout
I’m a cow
😎
I do not know you can make a T.U.G.S RWS Edit in the past
I have done three, I want to do more and put out a specific video of them though
Btw thank you for mentioning me in your video this is the first time I got mentioned in a video
Congratulations 😁
Thank you
No worries
Peak!!
also, was my question answered about the Henry research??
Hey there, really sorry but I don't think I saw that one! What was the question and I'll answer it now?
@@sodorislandmodels6332 it was the Henry research
As in will I be doing Henry research? If so, yes I will be in the future!
@ ok!
James isn't my favourite character as he's a show off:-)
True

I have a blue sky account but not yet posted to it. I am thinking about keeping twitter and blue sky going at the same time
