Hi guys! Made two mistakes in the video, my apologizes. 13:45 I got copyright claimed which is why there is a significant audio change, with no music. Please bare that in mind. 12:08 - I got the VAs mixed up! Aaron Barashi is the UK VA for Thomas, the VA you hear in the clip is known as "David Kohlsmith". 6:18 - Accidenly referred to Tidmouth sheds as "Tidmouth station". My mic also changes a couple of times in the video (which annoys the hell out of me) - this is due to it being somewhat sensitive.
In the RWS, Bill & Ben were already on Sodor being built and arrived in 1948, so this makes sense for them to be in the TV adaptation of Percy Takes the Plunge.
1:22 Oh my god, why did they never expand on this?! I can see why Diesel prefers to be called Diesel now. The other engines would make every Reindeer joke under the sun if they knew! Imagine a Christmas episode where we find out his name is Rudolph and Diesel ends up with a red nose!
So youre telling me Thomas isn’t even the first Sodor engine to travel the world. What a massive L for that guy, bro got main character syndrome so bad that he makes everyone look for him but when Salty goes around the world everyone is chill with it smh
I think that it was because Thomas just took off without telling anyone (except Carly, who loaded him onto the boat heading to Africa), while everyone most likely knew in advance about Salty setting off around the world.
8:43 Also, in the scene where Thomas asks Rocky to lift him onto the incline, Rocky is lifting 2 narrow gauge trucks. Possibly a remnant of the deleted scene.
15:09 THERE IAM GARY AMAZING AS ALWAYS!! really happy i was able to contribute with a fact for this amazing series of videos hjshshsj learning about useless Thomas facts is always a fun time
Adding onto the flash game Sodor Races, Thomas, Percy and Duck being the options for the game, is also a nod to the RWS story "Triple Header" from RWS book no. 27 Really Useful Engines, where 3 said engines were used. I 'd just thought I'd point that out.
1:28 Actually, it doesn't say that Diesel's name is actually Rudolph, but instead it says that the name Diesel comes from Rudolph Diesel (the inventor of the diesel oil). Anyways, great video!
In the series 24 episode Thomas and the inventors workshop, there is a back to the future reference as Thomas is used to go fast enough to power the windmill (not entirely sure how that works but ok) it’s kinda hard to explain, but if you watch the episode, you will understand. It’s not a very popular episode (or series for that matter) so I’m pretty sure not many people noticed.
The "stupid/silly animal" part reminds me of how the words "loser" and "stupid" were apparently beeped out of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic when it aired on Treehouse TV in Canada.
@@ScottMalkinsonisWim pretty sure in percy takes the plunge or something when the twins and percy are in the shed henry tells them to leave because its for sth's engines only (unless he bought them later on)
...the only new thing I got from here was the fact that the HiT Era Character Bible states that Salty has worked around the world. Salty is a real engine, so that can easily be confirmed or debunked.
I don't remember if it was confirmed or not but there was this weird bit of trivia going around that James's tender is connected with buffers and a chain opposed to a drawbar. (I think it started with the illustration of Thomas taking James back to the sheds from the books)
Another amazing facts video! There were a lot of facts that I didn't know like how Diesel's real name is Rooldoff and how in seasons 8 and 9 Bertie had CGI eyes. Amazing job on this video! Hope you have a great day!
There were a lot more facts I didn’t know about and some surprised me like 1:22 Rudolf is a interesting name for Diesel 1:31 2:12 2:53 2:59 3:22 3:51 Bertie’s animated eyes 6:52 i would’ve never known that detail 7:21 sure…like Oliver doesn’t exist 7:45 8:12 I was surprised when I heard that but it’s interesting 8:55 10:27 Frankie’s concept designs 11:17 I would’ve loved to have seen the intro in CGI 12:44 I did find that strange 13:19 interesting how that detail was used in AEG even if it may be unintentional 13:56 14:31 the culdee fell engines with no face at the back feels weird to me
I'll mention whatever I want, it is MY video. You're more thanks welcomed to skip the AEG parts, they're put together so its easier to skip them. OR you can not watch the video all together. AEG is part of Thomas in the current generation whether you like it or not. Its been 3 years, wake up.

TTTE twitter account: ''there is no number 11 engine on Sodor''
Oliver: am I a joke to you
and Jack even though he's not a train engine
I guess in the CGI era Oliver just sorta showed up one day

Meanwhile, James breathes a sigh of relief because he's no longer the butt of those jokes.
DENNIS VIDEO! Loved it! Can't wait for 24 hours of useless infomation about Thomas & Friends.
Oh yeah

8:39 when I was little I always wondered whose body that was as most of the other scrapped remnants looks like at the engines. Lol
7:23 Oliver:am I a joke to you?
If its information about Thomas and Friends, It is not useless. In fact, it makes you a really useful Engine

That was the only page I had access to but apparently another section of the page refers to Diesel as "Rudolf Diesel". Make that of what you will.
Victor Tanzig: Uggh, screw it I’m keeping Diesel’s name Bruce.
Schools: “only 15 minutes of useless information? *That’s insultingly low.* “
heres some useless info: sir thoppom hats name was bertram in the tvs episode, happy birthday sr
FF : calling all engines is the only special to not introduce a new character

fun fact: i think one of the cgi learning segments about railways its shown that The thin controller owns the culdee fell railway
Okay, most ironic thing to consider; Donald has more appearances than Douglas, while Douglas has more lines than Donald.
more ironicly, your instrumentals are terible

Okay, don’t see what that had to do with my original comment.
@@DoviHechtDon't be rude
@@fanofeverything30465 its true you know
@@DoviHecht It.doesn't matter you're still being rude
5:20 I kinda wonder if Diesel’s Ghostly Christmas was a callback to this, the crashes are very similar…
Imagine being one of the first characters added through an episode/book, then for your company to say you don’t exist
Crazy how much trivia there is in TTTE and how awesome it is
12:32
My favorite aeg Thomas voice actor
The amount of useful information that is interesting in this fandom is nothing short of amazing.
Also correction bill and ben were owned by Topham in the show.
@@ScottMalkinsonisWim pretty sure in percy takes the plunge or something when the twins and percy are in the shed henry tells them to leave because its for sth's engines only (unless he bought them later on)

... I don't think I've ever met a person who knew the word "where" was said 26 times in the WITWIT song. That's crazy.
@asodorlife Ah, no, that one is just obvious. I mean, seriously, we know the lyrics. It's practically the only thing they say.
Absolutely spiffing video and a ton of very intriguing and obscure facts!
Very well done my man!!

Also in the Korean print of Mountain Engines, Godred's name was changed to Loui.

I enjoyed the video! Congrats on getting recognized by The legend himself!
So much Donald and Douglas information I wasn’t aware about

so you're telling me pig slaughter is canon in the nitrogen era.
We're doing a sequel, we're back by popular demand.
Come on, everybody, strike up the band!
RIP Audio 15:01 ❤❤Loved the vid
Diesel real name is the one unanswered question I always wondered and I’m not disappointed of the name choice
the way this is fixing my attitude holy fuck
Your biggest mistake was making a sequel, now all the little Timmys will beg and beg for another

Wow, just wow.
Thanks for the extra 40 seconds!
9:33 yeah thats because Ferdinand is american he's based on the climax that was used for American logging railroads
I personally think that Hector was built by the ndem
Better than the Tyson fight 🔥🔥🔥
finally we can hear proteus cgi voice
kids shows often have inconsistent VAs.

Did u know canon ball curve was based on an mobile game called magic tracks
@@niwarajgurung4871 It has a resemblance to it but isn’t based off it, I talk about THAT in my 10 mins video.
But the name is the same

I did
Why is Salty literally 4x the size of Thomas and Percy, like wtf even is AEG
Thomas and Percy are kids and Salty an adult, so they are scaled differently.
I'm going to stop watching here to ask. Why did no one think of renaming Diesel as Rudolf?
Love your vids
nah this is useful information
Where does the info about Gordon special coaches come from?
