Just put the 600hp power adder on my c10 with a 350 and mild cam most definitely seen a major improvement in throttle response and runs better than I’ve ever heard it run
Great video , I can’t seem to find the return fitting for the fitech tho. Bought everything I need and I’m having a hard time find that one fitting . Any idea where I can find it. My fitech only came with a block off fitting
@@TonyTheTechnician good idea, I’ll call them and see what they can do. It sucks cause it’s a smaller inlet then the feed so it’s even harder to find lol
Pretty cool. When you go over 350 hp odd things begin to happen. Fuel line is main jet (3/8" should be good). Return line at 5/16" should be good with no restrictions. The old days of Holley carbs we fed both bowls to ensure no starvation. That filter looks puny. An in fuel tank pump able to support 600hp is loud as hell too. When it takes a crap you have to drop the tank. Not fun.
Thanks and ya the lines should be good. Ya the filter is small but nice that it's able to be cleaned and replaced. And ya your 100 percent right about the pump. It wasn't fun to drop it all and get it out. I know alot of people cut a trap door but I really don't want to do that either lol
@@TonyTheTechnician My 450+ hp Fox body Mustang sits with a bad pump and I have no garage. Dropping the tank sucks but on gravel or grass even worse! I have seen trap doors. Most Japanese made cars come with them which is interesting, as they rarely fail. Butchering my Mustang is not happening.
I believe I have the same fuel filter an lines. Hate to ask a noob question, have u replaced filter altogether? clean / reusable? and how is it removed? Does it unscrew like a jar. Thx
Hi Dave good video, just a short question you or someone might be able to answer. My mechanic stalled my Fitech and Command Center 2 to my big block chev 454 which has turned out to be a disaster massive engine failure !! His plumbed the fuel return line back into the fuel tank extremely low at least 40+mm below the highest point on the tank. Hence I believe the return line MUST always be at the highest point on the tank to prevent any returning fuel being blocked by the fuel within the tank, causing any pressurized return fuel to be sucked-back via loss of vent/vacuum etc into the engine via the return line. My engine has got very easily 4+ litres of fuel being dumped throughout the engine coming to rest into the sump. Do you feel the incorrectly placed return line plumbing is/could be why so much fuel has been dumped back into the engine. Cheer's Warren
What fittings did you use to adapt your 3/8 hard line to the 6AN fittings? I need the same but for the life of me I can only find the one for the 5/16 line. Thanks Tony! Great video.

Very nice. Glad to hear it!!
Nice clean set up and engine bay 👌🏻😈👍🏻 🍻 thanks Tony
Thank you. Ya it's basically all done. Just a few final touch ups and some small jobs to do.

Oh dang really? Both of mine were already installed in the unit. You may want to call Fitch and let them know. They may just send you one

I second this question but need to add that I'm trying to adapt both hardlines. Thanks very much in advance.
