    Love it! I can see it blasting up the Stevio right now. Shame so many people are quick to jump to comment without thinking through its purpose. Its never easy to own the moral high ground when one doesn't consider all the facts. I think this could be great fun in its intended environment. Its funny that people don't shout about electric cars that can go faster than 30mph. A great review John, and one thats got me thinking about owning one. Have fun John, and long may it continue. 👋

    Great vlog John .. Actually made me want this bike but in the Hard tail version..it’s lighter fully foldable as in the Handlebars fold down and seat and handlebars are adjustable but has same motors as this one😎👍

    Exposed inner tube seems odd. Looks like an absolute beast though

      That is not the inner tube it's the wheel liner on the inside of the wheel.

    Needs a "discreet" switch that immediately limits it to rear motor 250W just in case the local constabulary take an interest.....

    Great review of an interesting bike…. It’s good that there is ever more choice and hopefully such bikes will force the review of the Uk laws around electrically assisted transport …. Anything that gets more people on two wheels however powered has to be good. Question is has it kicked the other folder from the garage ?

    I predict the first ebike company to put out simply 3000w. 72v and 80ah with the ability to quickly and easily flip between 25 mph class 3 and over will be king. All while making them in that semi affordable price range of $3k and under.

    my guy, i love this bike. i have a question though. the official site says that the load capacity is 180kg. without the bike of course. i sent them an email, they confirmed it. now i understand that they exaggerate a bit. i weight around 120-125kg. in your experiense with the bike, is it gonna be safe for me? i really want it to be foldable, eitherwise i would go for mg740 plus wich looke safer.
    i would greatly apreciate an answer plz. thanks in advance

    What is the point of dual engine? That's just less efficient. Put one more powerful controller into one motor and that'll be much better.

    • @brittanybradford9239
      @brittanybradford9239 10 месяцев назад

      Makes sense on 4 wheels but I think it's more a gimmick selling point to charge more money and they can say it's still a class 3. There's a ton of bikes out there that would be so much cooler if they quit worrying about stupid regulations and atleast use 72v, 60ah and 3000w with the ability to switch down to a class three with a button.

    I just don't see the point of this bike and others like it. Maybe it's an age thing? Well I am a grumpy old git, fast approaching 62. However, I suspect that these "bikes" may end up subject to legislation even without having a proper engine...

      it’s a bike that has configurable pedal assist, you don’t see how that could be useful for many people?

    • @ciaranokelly3693
      @ciaranokelly3693 Год назад

      @@maybemymoney5764 yes I do see how some folk may benefit from electric pedal assist. However, I'm just wondering when these bikes stop being bicycles and are more akin to mopeds are small motor bikes without sparkplugs and petrol? My wife and I are coming to the end of a European road trip.. Whilst in Germany I noticed that electric pedal assist bicycles have outstripped the sale of traditional / normal bicycles and the really interesting thing is that the motor is integral with the crank and chain wheel. The prices of such machines is staggering.... Anything between €2.5 and 6.5k in one particular shop.

      I'm 65 - I bought one of these bikes 14 months ago - and it's transformed my life. I've done coming on for 4000 miles in all weathers - I've got fit - and thoroughly enjoy my weekends exploring (respectfully and considerately) the countryside around me that I've barely noticed the 30 years odd I've lived here! It's even prompted me to start walking as well - for me, at least - it's the best thing I've bought in years - apart from my Musicman Stingray bass perhaps.....

    Sadly, I have to be a curmudgeon and wish these things were banned. Whilst many people will use them wisely, the morons will be tearing along footways or going cross country on ecologically sensitive ground.
