- The Accord has been a top selling midsize sedan for years and Honda wants to make it even better for 2021. Under the hood of the Touring is a 2.0L turbocharged inline-4 that is producing 252HP & mated to a 10-speed automatic. On the outside is an all new color of the Accord, wheels, front fascia and grill. On the inside you will find new technology and interior color. I think this accord interior still has a cleaner and more upscale/luxurious look than the 2021 TLX. The use of the knobs for the climate control and the volume and tuning knobs looks so much better than the TLX’s center stack.
TLX needs a redesign.
I would love those rims but with the black Honda emblem on them rims and put them on my 2017 Honda Accord touring 😭😮💨
Great update video Joe! I have the 2019 Accord sport and love it but this update is really tempting, especially in that color! I rented a Camry on a recent business trip and when I got back and drove home in my Accord I realized how much better it felt to me.

To me,adding the 'Touring' moniker to a vehicle implies a certain level of comfort and long distance cruising capabilities. It should also feel fast and sporty,even if it isn't necessarily either. If you are comfortable enough in a car that you can grab a cat nap or even a couple hours of sleep if absolutely necessary, then you can certainly tour,even if it's not in the traditional 'grand' style. If this car offers those capabilities,then by all means,go for it. 😎

I just like the fact that the accord offers ventilated seats standard with the touring trim yet with the loaded Camry you have to get ventilated seats as an option. Props to Honda for Cooling our asses without extra pricing!
It's not so cool than I expected. Just remove heat little bit. That's it.
My 2008 lexus has ventilated seats lol nice and cool with the leather.

Mazda 6 Grand Touring Reserve costs $32,675 which is over 4 grand cheaper and has ventilated seats standard too
@@ridwanmahmood9711 Mazda6 may be cheaper, but, Accord is known to be more reliable, longer lasting, better resale value, and less mechanical issues, if keeping it longer. Plus, on the 6 the infotainment system is very dated, camera picture is very grainy, and also no trajectory. Also, no wireless charging, which is pretty much standard in every other sedan in this class. Even compact cars, most have wireless. And the 6 has quicker and steeper deprecation, and the Mazda6 has been discontinued, so with all that, would rather pay a couple grand more, for long term reliability with the Accord Touring
Thank you for throwing in the sentence; “Don’t go buying a SUV”. Sedans these days with fold flat rear seats really do have as much if not more room than an SUV of the same size without the crappy tippy handling and poor gas mileage. Enough with the Crossovers and SUV’s people.

For some reason, I thought this car was ugly. Haven't paid much attention to Hondas in years. Then I found myself looking for a new car and stumbled across this exact review. Then I saw a white, 2021 Honda Accord Touring at my local Honda dealership. Made my deal right there! Thanks Joe! It's been a happy two months 😁😁

Almost no reviews ever talk about a car’s sound system. What does music sound like?
What Honda really needs to do is have a higher trim Sport model. I love how the 2.0 sport features look but don’t like the wood grain, chrome, and some other features of the Touring. But I wish my The sport model would come with more bells and whistles

@@C2daF the 2.0T Sport is essentially the Touring w/ no wood, no cooled seats, no satnav, and worse sound system. Otherwise it's got pretty much all the same features as the Touring. Oh and I think the 2.0T Sport may also lack the park distance control but I'm not certain about that. However all Sport trims have the black headliner and pillars which I think look much better than the light shade of the other trims.
Nothing like good old Toyota Sensing Technology in your Honda Accord.

I have the 2019 version. Honda called me today to see if I want to get this version. Not much difference. Still no panoramic sun roof.
The wheels are a bit over the top. They'll be the new "most stolen wheels" in America. But I love everything else about the rest of the car (minus the round fog lights. The previous strip fog lights were better looking).

I love this color I'm so glad they made this color for an accord. Love it on the K5 and love it on the chargers. Now its on the Accord and I love the new wheels.

if honda adds 3-things on accord the those are: awd; and panoramic roof; and 360-view cam,.. it will become just number 1 in its class. come on guys. this 3 things are deal-breakers and extremely critical.
The one thing they probably won't do is AWD since the TLX already has it. Honda won't want to cannibalize its own sales. But I can see them adding the other things. Oh and an improved sound system across the board.
Im a Honda technician and I get these new cars all the time but somehow I still watch this dude review them 😂

I love my 2018 2.0T Sport. The only thing that I would change about the Accord is the audio system. They should be using a premium audio system like Harmon/Karden, Bose or maybe a version of the ELS audio system.
It’s really terrible I agree. Absolutely no midbass or bass.
And what audio system the use?

Oh, okay. I have the Accord touring 2021 and i think is sound much better with the 11 speakers. But it's true, I don't know why they don't put a better audio system.

Is it listed as a six speaker by Honda? Our Sport 2.0t has mid-basses in the front doors and rear deck, and tweeters in the mirror area of the doors and far corners of the rear deck so it’s technically an eight speaker.

I like new wheels more than the previous Touring wheels. They remind of the wheels you could find on the 16-17 Accords. Looks great!
I thought the same at first, but after comparing the 2, I still think the 16-17 Sport/Touring wheel is better. Still a huge improvement over the 2020 wheel though. Just wish Honda would have replaced the Sport wheel also.

I just picked up a 20 Touring for a great deal. I actually like my rims better then this new one. It's actually even uglier then the 16-17 Sports/Touring rims which are better looking. Pics don't do it justice on the 18-20 Touring rims tho. You have to see it in person. It's a lot nicer but of course the Sports one is more flashy.
That's kinda exactly why i don't like them lol. In my opinion they don't fit the overall design that well... looked better on the 16-17 models.

Thanks for the review. The Accord has quickly become my #1 choice in a sedan as I do some car shopping. Looking at 2018-19 for pricing, though. Looks like the 2021 doesn't have THAT much new that wasn't there before.

I really love my Audi but it has cost me a fortune over time and I am trying to decide what to by next, trying to see if I can even talk myself into a more reliable car like a Honda. But the cars feel so different, sit so different, look different, and well, how do you convince someone who loves German cars to buy a Honda? If I do go to look at Hondas and really want leather and power seats and other high end features, what should I consider if I cant find a Touring model which seems scarce at the moment around here? Oh, and I want to stay around 20k. So obviously its going to be a 2015-2016-2017 model. Sell me a car Raiti,lol.

I got the 2020 in August knowing there would be a refresh. The only thing I’m jealous of is the wireless apple car play. Other than that, not a huge fan of the added chrome grill or wheels. Also i got the Blue which they don’t make in the touring anymore! I personally like the sonic gray pearl on the civic more.

Aside from not having a front camera or heated steering wheel, I’ve had nothing but great success with mine. The only other knock is the speed signs are not always accurate.
Front end looks pretty good but the rear end looks terrible. Some of the worst taillight designs, and to think that they use these terrible taillights on almost every honda...shame

So far I'm really liking the Accord I bought on 12/22/20. Same trim and color, only difference on mine is the windows are tinted. The sonic grey pearl gets a lot of compliments from people as well. Have not had a chance to really get down on mine yet, want to wait till I hit over 500 miles so the engine is broke in.
I see this at a parking lot on way out of work and was amazed. They did one hell of upgrade on the 10th gen. Super gorgeous

Have owned my '21 Accord Touring 2.0T for 18 months. I still love it and look forward to driving it every single day. Too bad Honda nixed the 2.0T for the 11th generation.
Nice review Joe. No one wants to mess with hood struts though when they go out. Hood prop is fine. Unless the car industry wants to go back to metal springs. Lol.

Sorry, but I don't think the passenger seat has 14-way adjustability. There is no lumbar control (round switch) like on the the driver's seat, which, btw, is only *12-way adjustable.* Also, Honda would sell many more Accords if it offered AWD. I will not buy a FWD car ... especially with the torque steer your demonstrated.

Let’s face it the Accord has also been a top seller for years. I don’t recall what year exactly ,around 2001. The Ford Taurus actually over took this car in sales for one year. Can you imagine that??? Today they are history. In fact today you won’t even see an older Taurus on the road .
For one change needed . Honda needs to go AWD like the Camry did.

1998 to 2002 were the worst accords ever so many Transmission issues with Automatic along with Electrical problems it killed sales.

I hate that the center screen is not integrated into the dashboard. It's just a design after thought, sticking out like a sore thumb. Also, call me old school but I prefer a regular stick shifter rather than push buttons.

I have two Accords, 2008 coupe and 2013 sedan. And the one thing I wish they improved was the amount of outside noise when all windows are closed. Have they recently worked on this and made for a more quiet ride?
Yes they have.
Only the touring, as the sport 2.0t and other trims are still pretty loud. The accord page for the main Honda website states it is down to the adaptive dampers. Shame it’s only in the touring
You are the reason I bought a honda accord 2020 sport manual. Was going crazy looking for a manual since I own an Isuzu rodeo 1997 thats manual and needed an efficient car. @Raiti's Rides, *SIGH* They still couldn't change that 'stapler' aka 'lobster-claw' aka 'crab-claw' or whatever the heck you call it tail lights! And by the way, the sonic gray color seems a bit strange on the accord. It's almost as if it looks better on hatchback for some reason, I can't really put my finger on it. Oh well.. at least the next gen Accord is around the corner I hope :D

I also have a hybrid touring - been driving and loving it for two years. This is a seriously comfy ride that is just as good chewing up highway miles as creeping along in the maze of tunnels underneath Boston. And the rear seat is huge - it is like a freaking limo back there.
