- Huge thanks to Honda of Wesley Chapel for making this review possible! You can check out their inventory at wesleychapelhonda.com or give them a call at 813-473-7300 and ask for Joey or Hunter.. Thanks for watching!!
We just bought the 2022 Touring model in White with ivory leather interior. We love it!! Fast car and very comfortable!
It’s a really impressive car all around I’m glad you like it! 👍🏼
Thats the one i wanted when i purchased mines but i was a week late so i opt for the silver one.luv it.and yes its fast especially in sport mode
How much did you pay for it? Did you pay markup?
@@happychildeod8307 We paid sticker and an additional $1750. For the $1750 they added wheel locks, ceramic window tinting, all season mats. We went to a dealership 1 1/2 hours from the SF Bay Area where we live because around by us they wanted a $3200 mark up that didn’t include anything extra! So we were pleased (as much as we can in this weird time!)
@@susangardner294 it’s really crazy here, they wanted $10k ended up paying $7k got appearance protection coverage interior and exterior for 7yrs, floor mat, door guard. It’s really scary buying cars these days. But however still happy with the purchase being my first brand new car.
I absolutely love this Honda, I’ve had mines for a week now and I am very pleased with everything on this car. It has all the best safety features and just enough power for my driving. I’m adding mods and things to mines real soon the finish product will be so smooth! I was going with a 392 scat pack charger and suddenly just fell in love with the Honda!
It’s gorgeous!!!!
If not the Best review on the Accord, it’s surely one of the more informative reviews for sure!! Keep doing what you’re doing young man! You articulate extremely well 👍
Thank you I really appreciate that! Glad you liked the video!
This review is ok, but as noted, too many mistakes. Someone who is not familiar with the vehicle wouldn't notice. I got the 21 a couple months ago, so the errors stood out. Not a biggie, but should at least outline your spiel ahead of time, to make sure your accurate on specs etc..
Here's a couple others.. (these are all for the 2021, but the 2022 is basically the same. Virtually no changes, as the redesign is supposed to be coming on the 2023 model)
This one is for the 2021, but for me, this was the best one :

And then this one :

I have a 21 Sport 2.0t. It is a fantastic everyday car. For a sedan with an auto, it is very quick, handles great, and just a fun car to drive all around. This car is at home running a quick pace on a backroad or cruising 80 all day on the interstate. It also has a luxury “feel” with modern technology and comfortable ergonomics. Really a great bargain as well.
I have a 2010 accord sedan and a 2021 and the double wishbone 2010 is more nimble, love my 2021 touring but it’s heavy in the front and doesn’t compare with its MacPherson strut front end. I also have a 2012 coupe with a V6 and the handling is better in that one too. The 2021 is the quickest and most advanced. Love where Honda has gone, I wish they turbo charged a v6 and kept the double wishbone. But we got our Touring very very cheap. In all great 👍🏼 vehicle 🚗 that’s my honest input.
does the 21 also suggest premium fuel? how does it run on reg
You can run it on either it seems
Worth every penny even at full sticker. Awesome vehicle and we love ours. The adaptive dampers really make a difference on the Touring in Sport mode.
Because of this great review I just purchased the 2.0T, good job!
Thanks man good luck with the car! 👍🏼
You were incorrect, premium fuel is not recommended by Honda only 87 octane. It’s in the Manuel
Incorrect it's in the manual
Honda says 87 or above.
Calls for 87 octane not premium fuel- have a 21 Accord Touring and have got 40 miles per gallon highway at times mainly 30’s per gallon highway- powerful engine very smooth riding car great sound system
There is no hill decent button on the steering wheel as you said that is the HUD button- Heads Up Display
OMG! Someone else that has squeezed 40mpg out of a 2.0t. I wasn't going 80 when that happened. Love my 2020 Sport 2.0t 6spd.
I have the refreshed 2021 Honda Sport 2.0T in blue. My car has excellent steering, handling and performance Wishing some of the features of the new Civic Touring were incorporated in the 2021/2022 Accord: like Bose sound system, and full 10.25 digital gauges and panoramic sunroof. My impressions that the upper trims of the Honda Accord were a lot better than the Camry XSE. Much cleaner, luxurious interior, low speed follow and braking, wireless connectivity lacking in the Camry.
Wonderful review. Honda continues to impress even after 20 years. I bought my first Honda accord 20 years ago, drove it for 13 years with only one issue. It was the radio screen that went out in the first 6 months. Honda replaced it no issue and it was my daily for 13 years no other issues (v6, 5 speed auto). Traded it in 7 years ago for a CVT Sport (lightly used). Been driving it for 7 years now, not a issue yet. But I really been wanting that throttle response and true sporty feeling of the Accord v6, and well they don't have a v6 anymore. So seeing you tip in the throttle and the 10 speed mated to the 2.0t respond so quickly.
Well this video just proves to me that the 10th Gen 2.0t accord will be my next and 3rd accord. So glad I found your video, and it just reinforced that decision I made 20 years ago, to buy my First Honda. I have owned 7 different Honda's and only one had issues to even speak of, and it was a recall that was covered under warranty. I look forward to bringing a 2021-2022 Honda Accord Touring 2.0t home real soon.
Thank you for all you do.
As a 20-year Honda driver, I wish I got this car as it is an amazing looking car with lots of power. I was not looking seriously last year and the 2023 just does not have the sporty look and power options that I am looking for. I will probably go with a Kia K-5 GT. It looks great but I will always have some attachment to the Honda name and well earned reputation.
Got rid of my 2016 Infiniti QX80 for the 2021 Accord Touring in sonic gray pearl. Definitely one of my favorite cars. So many “luxury” features in a practical daily driver.
That car is Gorgeous
There are actually two different places in which to prop the hood up. The first is at about the halfway point of the hood. The second is closer to the the very lowest part of the hood (close to the wipers) to hold the hood almost completely at a 90 degree angle for easier access to the engine.
Did my 1st road trip and the car is phenomenal for the price. Great Video
Thank you🙏🏼
I'm currenly on a 2019 2.0 Sport and I'm just waiting for the 11th gen. I love the wheels on the touring
3:37 Shame on any dealer who is still putting pinstripes on vehicles these days!
3:55 Regular 87 octane fuel is recommended for all Accord models, including Accords with the 2.0T engine.
5:28 The hood prop goes into the square holes, not the round ones. There are 2 positions for the prop.
8:15 The button on the steering wheel that was referred to as, "hill descent", is actually the main cruise control button.
14:54 The difference in a sunroof and a moonroof is that moonroofs typically are glass panels and sunroofs are not.
The Accord Touring 2.0T is an awesome car! I have a '20 model that I absolutely love. You get so much car for the money in my opinion and I cannot praise that gem of an engine enough. It never feels underpowered. Nice review overall.
Sheeeesh lmao thanks for clearing up the mistakes.. Appreciate the comment glad you like the car!
This reviewer didn’t take the time to get his facts straight. Should be embarrassed 🙈
@@markmorgan5999 5 mistakes in a 25 minute video... that's not bad. I'm sure you didn't notice a single one of these mistakes
He also referred the boost gauge to being bar when it's not. The number only goes to 1.5 because it is measured in bar, not psi.
@@Aultmind Just in case you were serious, which I hope you were not, I own this model accord and noticed all of them.
Great review. Your thoroughness and attention to detail is much appreciated. I was never sure about moon/ sun roofs. Simply put a sun roof is a removable glass or metal panel. A moon roof is the sliding automated type we see here.
Can’t wait to get this in June🙌💪🏽
This is my dream sedan!! Nice review bro.
Just ordered one of these in the Touring 2.0T and can’t wait to get it!!
I bought my Mazda cx-30 from Mazda of Wesley Chapel. If you live in Florida this is the best place you can buy your car. There are no surprise charges, they are great. I will definitely upgrade my accord 2018 from here when it is the right time.
The boost meter is in Bars of pressure, 1.5 Bar is 21.76 PSI.
Waiting for the redesign accord. Hoping for premium sound system and panoramic roof and possibly even better horse power 😁
well i guess 1 out of 3 ain't bad 😂
The last of a dying breed, glad I got one last summer
Man incredible review. Very informative
Thanks brother glad you liked it!
How do you put the car in neutral if the battery is dead, with that push button? That's a very important question you should ask.
All vehicles with brake locked ignition have that same button for pushing/towing
Absolutely love my 2.0t Touring.
How is the road noise inside this car compared to a Camry?
@7:40 now that it's winter the lack of heated steering wheel in the touring model is a huge let down
How did you manage to snag it for 38, I can't find 1 for under 45
You're wrong on the hood and there's two places to put the support rod in. Did you see the notch for it by the windshield wipers that allow the hood to open the hood at almost 90 degree angle? Actually very well engineered and you should edit you video due to your mistake.
The 2022 Accord Touring has a different dash air duct layout, infotainment with an extra knob, and the 2.0L Turbo, and a bit more room than the 2022 Civic Touring. The Accord Touring has a somewhat quieter Cabin until you accelerate hard and the engine Turbo whines. The similarity between the Accord T and Civic T are noticeable. No wonder people call the 2022 Civic Touring the "Baby Accord".
The boost gauge is in units of Bar not psi. 1 Barr = 14.5 psi.
I’m trying to decide between the accord touring 2.0 and the Camry XSE i4. I can’t decide between the two. Any thoughts on which one is better for long term reliability?
I test drive both, the Accord handles great and will be faster with the 2.0t vs the i4 Camry. My brother has a Camry XSE v6 and it’s also a great car. Hard choice but I like the classy look of the Honda Accord more. Good luck
@@LexCTF I decided against the Camry. It’s now between the Accord and Civic. I’m actually leaning more towards the Civic. I’ve had a 10th gen civic and was really happy with it.
@@reginaalear Why did you decide against the Camry?
This is a huge difference from my 2018 1.5t in the same crystal pearl or whatever they call this color, if I had the money, I’d definitely upgrade.
Edit: I went to a Honda dealership for an oil change which I then say this in the showroom and went inside, boy was I impressed.
I’m a little confused what is the trims for all Honda accords 2022 except hybrid. Is this one sport trim ? Or touring? I thought touring didn’t come with a 2.0
Was this available in any Right hand drive countries? Wasn't sold in the UK and doesn't seem like they were sold in Japan or Australia either :(
Do you hear road noise in the Accord 2022 touring?? Is there any noise cancellation system? I heard the 2021 accord is very noisy. Is that true??
I'll never understand why dealerships put the name of their dealership on the back of their cars. I would go buy my car someplace else if a dealership did this. It's borderline offensive.
I completely agree. I've actually had dealership name logos removed from every car that I've ever owned.
I hate that. I luckily got my CPO 2020 2.0t touring without any badges or logos
I hate it too! I tell them to remove it or do it myself
Is a wireless charging pad able to automatically connect your android or iPhone to the car's specific OS car interface (android auto/Apple CarPlay)? I drove a newish Hyundai Kona and I guess the Apple CarPlay for my iPhone toc connect to was either Bluetooth or cord, but better interface if connected physically via a cord. Since there's a charging mat, does that count as a physical connection for the Apple CarPlay? Or do you have to use a lightning cable?
You have to put premium in this ? Man I am so tired of that gas, this was the reason why I wanted this car regular unleaded I wanted to go back to. What is the main difference between the 2.0t sport vs 2.0t touring ?
Idk why he said this car takes premium fuel. Other sources I've checked, including Honda's website, all say regular unleaded gas.
I have a 2017 accord Touring. I think I’ll be purchasing another Accord soon. 2.0T, that is.
I thought these only had cvts in them.
I really wanted to Buy the 23” accord, but I’m heavily disappointed they stopped the 2.0t, so the 22 it is 😢!
I was riding my Honda Accord 2004. I wish I buy the 2022 one.
Great. Review man 🤙
Accord Hybrid review anytime soon?
Is 38k really a bargain? The performance is okay, the sound system is okay, the looks are solid... decent tech... but for 38k? Meh.
These days , yep its about right
Cars are sooo expensive now. I got this car for 30k in 2019
what car would u get?
Premium fuel requirement is prolly a deal killer 4 this Kid !
Can you point me to a Honda sourced premium fuel recommendation?
This might still my dream car I want to buy.
Thanks for watching! Hit that subscribe button if you’re new and stay tuned for tomorrow’s review on the 2022 Honda CRV EX-L!
Love how you know that motor but not the were the hood prop goes, 😂❤
Come on Honda…what a strange thought process. You get a HUD, but no 360 camera system! And then you charge for white. Look at Kia/Hyundai for inspiration, they have the missing Honda options.
What is the range on a full tank of gas?
What kind of gas does this take?
Once again you're wrong about your comments the Pacific type are K20CI and the K20C AKA Honda Accord The major differences Is the about Springs the fueling systhe fueling system and the Pacific type R has dome relief cut pistons for a higher boost applications worth the K20C Honda Accord is a flat top piston . The crankshaft the rods are both forged the pistons are Forged The part numbers are identical on the crankshaft and the rods the pistons are different so that covers the bottom end ! And they're making 500 to 600 horsepower on the K20C if it did not have a forge crank that they would be grenading all over the place ! So do your research before you make comments all you gotta do is research the part numbers version or even Google and go to RUclips and there is a Blogger that breaks down peace by peace part number by part number the differences between the K20C and the K20CI
I like the touchscreen and I hope they stay the way they are.
Hello W.T.F Car Reviews do all new 10th gen Honda accord models come with run-flat tires from the factory or am I going to have to buy a different set then what is currently on my brand new accord touring and what would you suggest as far as tire brand's go?
P.S. I ask because I recently blew and eventually shredded a tire in a tunnel up in northern Alaska after running over a lot of debris and was wondering if there were any better tire options than what I currently have on the other 3 wheels on my 2022 Honda accord.
Also I still do not know how to change a flat tire do new cars even come with a jack if they do not have room for a spare tire?
1.5 was not meant to be in PSI's but in bar, which equals to 21 PSI
does it have automatic high beams? I didn't see it on the window sticker
Yes it has that feature
Yeaaa in the business
Is the cabin noice loud ?
The last of the high performance Honda Accords. I have a 2018 Touring 2.0T (pretty much identical) and it is the best car I have ever owned. But I have a few gripes. Turning radius is the worst of any car I have ever owned. Low profile tires are noisy at highway speeds. Push button shifter was a bad idea.
Nice car I like that new Gray Pearl color
Can you get the touring model 1.5 not turbo ?
I’ll try ASAP!
@@WTFCRLT1 wtf thank you
There's no such thing as a non turbo model, unless you're talking about the Hybrid. Both the 1.5 and 2.0 engines are turbo charged.
How do you feel the fuel economy is? How many miles for a full tank?
Asking the same!
40mpg highway, 30 in city
Does the the 1.5T sport SE compare?
The 2022 Honda Accord Touring 2.0T is quicker and is fully loaded granted it is the top trim level for the Accord
I will buy this soon..thx!!
Good luck! 👍🏼
@@WTFCRLT1 I was a BMW fan but nowwwwwadays they are useing so cheap metarials without guarantie..
Thats why I will buy that Beauty because it is Perfect in many ways and Japanese cars are Trustable!! ☝🤗
THX for your answer, keep on!!
Is the sound system any good?
no it sucks
The only thing I hate is the button shifters. They should have kept the conventional shifters like the other trims
Is the really good on gas around town before I get one
The 1.5T engine is great in town and on the highway. The 2.0T in my car is not so great in town. Fortunately for me, most of my driving is highway and I've averaged well over 29 mpgs since I got the car 10 months ago.
@@a32tl so is 2.0t for further? Would you say a 1.5 is good for like not long rides
does the TPMS tell you which tire is low pressure or does it still make you guess?? 🤬 #cmonman
Unfortunately, it makes you check each tire. My previous '16 Acura TLX showed each tire's individual pressure. I miss that feature. But I swear this car is amazing. The more I drive it, the more I love it.
@@a32tl I have the 2020 Touring. Its an awesome car don't get me wrong. My 06 Pilot even tells me which specific tire is flat. Not sure why they couldnt keep it that way. 🤣

Did it came? Any issues with the car?
@@xXFUEGIxX It never did come. I had to do something so I got my deposit back and ended up buying a 2022 Kia Stinger, which, now that I have had it a few months, is a better choice.
@@tubincubin98 sorry to hear I'll check it out
its a great car, but few extremely critical deal-breakers are missing on this car. those are: 360-cam. awd. pano-roof. and cng or diesel option or extra large battery on hybrid.
Diesel? WTF?
@@brianmanning9271 lol
Does U.S have right hand drive models?
No lmao
Nice car but you know that iPad thing. Ugh. That cupholder looks strange too. Not really dealbreakers but definitely head scratchers.
Yeah man the layout is a little questionable but it definitely works while being really fun to drive! I’d personally probably go with the 2.0t Sport but this touring trim is also a great car.
While those are your issues,Point well taken as well my biggest pet peeve is that push buttons for R-N-D & push button parking breaks👎🏽
@@paullansville I got the 21 Touring couple months ago
Absolutely amazing vehicle
I had some trepidation also about the push buttons
But adapted quickly in a day or so.
Kinda like learning to type.
At first the keyboard is overwhelming, but soon your know where all the letters are and it's a breeze
Same theory here, easily adapted to it. And, actually like it better. Much cleaner in that area, spacious
Got the 21 Touring couple months ago
Beautiful vehicle
And the ipad thing, once its right in front of you, it actually fits right in. For me, it responds quick, no lag time, and the picture is crisp and clear.
If you can swing it, go for this top trim.
Kinda like a luxury class vehicle at a mid size sedan price.
And it has some major kick also. Even in normal Drive mode it can fly off the line
In Sport mode? Buckle up 😊
@@chuckfan1 Glad you like I would still easily pick it over many others tho.👊🏽👍🏽
Did honda discontinued the sport 2.0t?
No.
Needs a panoramic roof, and a premium sound system. (Bose or better)
you can actually adjust the sound system through special settings. bunch of RUclips videos on it..did it to my accord and made a huge difference in base etc..

Having to pay the bogus destination fee is why a lot of people like to buy a newly used car. There's no way the manufacturer spent $1,000 to ship that to a dealer. Let the first owner overpay for all that crap.
It’s called capitalism. We have to pay for the privilege of having the opportunity to buy these nice things.
@@2004cyrus Not sure that makes sense, but I'll still buy used to avoid bogus fees.
@@4seeableTV I’m an intellectual guy. I do the research. And it’s cool that you don’t want to pay it. But there are trade -offs to everything. You lose manufacturer warranty buying used, and if you tell me you can just buy the extended warranty from a dealer then you are at an even bigger disadvantage. But yea I say capitalism to everyone who talks like you, because attorneys and corporations all get to benefit when we buy things. America is a consumption system. Everyone gets a small share of the pie. Hence your beloved destination fee. It’s just part of the privilege of living in America and having endless options, I’m told recently if you wanna play… you have to pay the tax. That was said to me at a doctor on Monday when they ordered tons of expensive and unnecessary tests. Anyway I’m boring you now. Buy used. I personally can’t stand buying cars that others drove first, after selling cars for 5 years. They come in to filthy. Sneezed in, farted in, used condoms in the trunk, food rotting unread the seats, toddler vomit, and bloody panties. Of course we detail them. People drive them to hell and back. Most of us, any car manager, will tell you we dread having to get inside 3/4 of them. So in our car industry bubble, we are all happy to pay the bogus fee. It is a privilege to have the option.
@@2004cyrus Warranties are tied to the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) and transfers with the car until the warranty has expired. So, if you buy a vehicle with an active warranty, it will remain intact until the end of the original warranty period.
@@4seeableTV I think what I said went right over your head, your reply didn’t address what my point was. I already know warranties follow the car. Used car, used meaning it’s been in service shortens the length of the warranty that will be transferred to you. Does that make sense?
4500 rpm rev limiter????................What's with that?? ...Is there is problem with the engine??

Personally, I’d take the 2.5 Camry with the 8-speed over the 1.5t Accord with the CVT however I might be taking this 2.0t Accord with the 10-speed over the Camry V6 with the 8-Speed. Power might be a little down but the 2.0t engine is proven to make a lot of power with just a few bolt ons.

I purchased a 2020 Honda Accord in February 2020. This car is a
disaster. I have spent more time at the service dealership with
multiple problems with the vehicle than I have spent with all other cars
in the previous 43 years of driving. Annoying rattle coming from the
dash. Heated seats don't work with remote start. Passenger mirror does
not return to correct position after reverse gear. Car repeatedly does
not recognize connected smartphone. This is my third Accord. First
two were great. 2020 Accord was a huge mistake purchase and has been a
total disappointment and pain in my rear end. I meet with the
dealership again on February 16 to find out if they are going to buy it
back, provide me with a new Accord, or some other solution. If no
solutions then the lawyers get involved. Total pain in the ass. I am
planning on making another new car purchase, this time probably a
Hyundai Sonata at the dealership right next door. Honda used to be
Great. Most recently Honda is producing unreliable, dysfunctional
vehicles which for me have been a total waste of time.
That’s crazy I’m going threw the same bullshit wit the rattle noise from dash I been literally trying to get this fixed for over 8 months and they still basically don’t know how to fix it I have a 2018 accord sport and I was going to get in the new one but me knowing that you going threw it to with a 2020 is tragic cause I love the new accords but I’m not going threw the bullshit again

Premium gas and regular gas, There's No difference, But that's a Nice video
The hp numbers are bit low... a like 275 or 280 hp wud be surfice...
You should drive it. My previous car was a '16 Acura TLX Advance with 290 hp. I loved the V6 in that car and thought I would miss it dropping to a less powerful 2.0T engine. I was wrong. The 2.0T engine is an absolute gem and it never feels underpowered to me. It's actually faster than my TLX. The Accord is at least 300lbs lighter and that makes a huge difference. It definitely feels like it's packing more than 252hp. This is coming from someone who swore they'd never go back to a 4 cylinder engine after exclusively driving V6 engines since 2002. I have no regrets.
