Hi Anuj - how has the car been for you in terms of reliability? Heard the "sensing" sensor is prone to debris causing the entire dash to light up like a Christmas tree. Secondly, I've seen a lot of these X gen accords having very sensitive front windscreens that easily crack. I used to own a 9th gen V6 accord and that car absolutely needed nothing but regular oil changes for the 40K miles that I had it for. Thanks!
@@khibulls Hi man, how is it going? I have been having a great time owning the 10th Gen. Accord. Until now I haven't really faces an issue with the Honda Sensing sensor malfunctioning in any way plus the windshield seems to be fine with no noise or vibrations creeping into the interior. Only thing as a downside I have noticed on the car until now is the fact that the 19 inch rims on the Touring model seems to eliminate a large portion of the road noise generated but still that is something that can be improved as over slightly rough patches the decibels start to annoy me. There is one more issue that I was aware of even while purchasing the car & that is the fact that the Side Mirrors are not electrically folding in as Honda has built in a way where it can bend in the opposite direction upon impact & not break which makes sense but when moving with the car in tight spaces, I really need to stretch myself on the right size to fold the mirror which is honestly annoying. Other than the above mentioned issues, I honestly am satisfied with the vehicle & hopefully Honda can come with better noise dampening methods & Electrically adjustable side mirrors in the next refresh for this model. Nice review man. I own a 2018 2.0T Sport and I can tell you that this is the most amazing car I've ever owned. The power from the engine is a lot more than most people expect when I blow past them. Also, it gets very impressive fuel economy. I would recommend it to everyone.
I bought the sport!!!!! Love it so much and your reviews helped for my decision. I wish they would make an AWD version. I have the blue pearl color and it’s really a head turner
@@VirgosGroove3 actually it does. Even when comparing a new Camry to a new Accord, the Accord seems/feels bigger, more planted on the road. The fit and finish of the car is miles above the Camry IMO. We have owned it for over 3 months now and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I bought the Touring Hybrid btw.
I have a 2018 Touring 2.0T with 43,500 miles and love it. I have the white platinum exterior with the light tan interior and wouldn’t change anything. I can fit my family of 5 in it easily and it has plenty of power in any driving situation. There is a USB plug in the center console so a 6’ charging cable will solve the no plugs in the rear. Great review!
Honda's reliability has gone downhill the last few years. Expect quite a few issues if you plan to own a modern Honda for 100,000+ miles. Your're better off leasing a modern era Honda.
that's the question we're all asking, and why I'm not touching the turbos. I expect my cars to last 250k. and we just don't know if this high compression turbo with yet another part that could break, will make it that far.
Gotta say, the best tachometer among the class. Simple and elegant. Some brands just keep adding in all kinds of number and graphics. I just need the speed, rev, gas, and water temp.
Honestly, Honda really needs to give the Honda Accord and the Civic a facelift especially at the point where there are no USBs for the passengers. Other cars that are cheaper than the Hondas offer USBs.
Civic is already in the facelift year now. Next year will be a new generation Accord will enter the facelift in 2021. Two more years of the generation is left
@@HOTPLATEGAMING I'm hoping the next gen Civics really push the platform forward. Blind spot monitoring needs to be standard. Maybe a hybrid option somewhere in the lineup as well?
I was a little hesitant to go from a V6 Accord to the 2.0T four but my Grandson's 2008 Acura RDX has the same basic engine, known as the K engine and all that I have determined is it is a very reliable and durable engine. I have a 2019 Touring and feel it is the best driving car I have ever owned, extremely pleased with it after just over a year. My only disappointment is that it does have more road noise when on course road surfaces than I would like. I considered adding the factory accessory of two USB outlets for the back seat but instead keep a long cord plugged in one of the two USB outlets in the center console with the cord in one of the pockets on the back of the front seat. No complaints from our teen age grandchildren in the back seat. I have another car and a truck but they always want us to take the Accord and they prod Grandpa to "gun it". They like the acceleration.☺
Best car I have ever bought. Went from a 2016 Accord V6 to the 2018 Accord 2.0 touring. No complaints for over 2 years. I like V8 muscle cars but this car is plenty quick. Don't normally keep cars very long but unless Honda improves somehow I plan to keep this for a while. Don't drive many miles anymore (15000) so far. Just an edit: wish they would add limited slip, traction is my biggest problem.
@@PLATINUM2U Nah, usual accord buyers are moms that use them as groceries carts. I know I wouldn't buy a car with that body style and I am not young :-P
Great vlog as always! The thing that makes Honda Superior in any other midsize car is the aftermarket support just by bulking up a Honda or Flash Pro for a measly $650 you get rid of the top speed governor a mid to low 13 second car but if you want a downpipe a PRL Cobra intake a PRL front mount 85 you have a high-flow 12-second car for under $3,000 that in itself is amazing you cannot say that about the Camry or the Mazda and especially Nissan with their garbage cvts. Or you can just do the accessory route which there are hundreds of parts either way at far is super customizable which is not the case for the Mazda Nissan Hyundai and Camry to an extent
I still prefer my TRD but I really like the dark wood grain material, it looks pretty sick! In comparison, I really like how this car has no fake air vents, better infotainment and the ventilated/heated seats (especially being in Florida lol). Really don’t like chrome on a car though. I think for the price point, this car is awesome, but I’ll still take my Camry any day haha
@@sexy02081988 love the car. Very responsive, great mileage. One thing to keep in mind is, if you go with the 19 inch wheels, you will feel the road. The car is very spacious. Love my A cord.

Chivas127 well if your taking about the technology you get with it, yes! But space and power for the factor I would take a Honda or Camry over a sonata
@@Cynical496 Not necessarily. The Camry has a V6 and it is a Toyota. The Maxima has a V6 and it is a Nissan. Just some examples. It has nothing to do with luxury brands.
I’m saying if you want a Honda V6 you need to get Acura. Still the same reliable engine, it’s their way of boosting sales for Acura. It is seen as a more premium brand, Honda meant to be a good/cheap brand focusing on technology not driving performance capabilities.
Hands down, the ultimate best daily driver, out there! Would like to have an AWD option! Lower up-sweeping chrome trim, isn't necessary, and I'm, "Zonking", that unique rear quarter glass and trim. Did they steal that from Cadillac, or vice-versa? Outperforms a Camry? "Nuff Said"!! Interior, clean crisp, and nicely updated! Business side is perfect, with the HUD, being an added plus!! Definite, "Zonk", with the no connectivity in the rear, however, those seatbacks are the way seatbacks should be on all cars! Excellent review, with a lot of positive opinions! Thanks Joe, for bringing this to the channel! 🏁🏁 (Disclaimer: Biased Honda retired employee commenter, here! 🤫)
Great car Joe if you don’t live in the Northeast. FWD is terrible in the snow. I will never buy another FWD car. I’m sick of the stress caused by the bad weather in the winter. As you know I got an Audi A6 in December of 2019. Of course the second I get the car we have a winter with no snow! But that won’t always happen. Here in NJ we often get buried in snow in the winter. If this Accord were made with AWD it really would be one of the greatest cars in the world for the masses. It’s affordable, reliable, and good looking. Needless to say extremely practical as well.
My 01 accord catalytic converter just got stolen, time to buy and your videos are essential during this time. Leaning towards passport, waiting for a great deal. Wish they had this steering wheel in the passport.
My dad have the 2014 Honda Accord till this day. It drives great. Very stable. Interior looks very luxurious and clean but the only annoying thing is about the Piano Black trims, need to clean it up when there's some kind of dust or dirt. Other than that is just beautiful. The size of the Accord is really large eventhough it's a mid-size sedan. Very comfortable and it performs great on the highway... I'm surprised that even this size of car can reached up to 240km/h (around 149mph) despite its large size and the weight though. Great review on this Accord too. Love the redesign. Very beautiful.
The only problem with a turbocharger is that they don't last as long as the engine and will eventually have to be replaced. When that happens, chances are, the car will no longer be under warranty and will set you back roughly $1700 for parts and labor. For that reason i'm glad I went with the Camry SE.
The Honda Accord are beautiful, the bad thing about these modern ones is the CVT automatic transmission , they are GDI, and that almost everything is electronic, in the long run they will bring us problems.
I had a 1980 Accord LX hatch back in the day and I loved it. My buddy owns a 2005 V6 Coupe and he's let me drive it. Accords are sweet, but you do see them everywhere.
I just picked up a 2020 Accord Touring 2 days ago. Went with the Obsidian Blue Pearl w/Grey interior. They grey isn't much darker than the Ivory interior on the car reviewed here and it looks great. The blue really shines in the sun. I wish the seats had better bolstering. I drove a 2001 Acura CL for 19.5 years and that's one thing I miss, is how well the seats held me in place. These seats are more comfortable overall, just not as snug of a ride around turns. The rest of the car though? It's a rocket for a family sedan. The amount of computerized things worry me a little bit for long term ownership, but I plan on buying an extended warranty for it (shop around. they can be had for really good prices). Overall I'm extremely happy with the car so far and it's been a lot of fun to drive so far.
Jankuba Kromah NL I don’t have the V6 Camry but I do own the 2018 SE Camry 4 cylinder. Camry is a good car but for me Honda is the way to go for the following: 1. Cabin is bigger. I have been lucky enough to drive my fathers Honda Sport 1.5t and I must say it’s a lot more spacious in the driver side. Which for me is a big deal because I live in Illinois and I have wear a big winter jacket in the winter. While wearing it, I feel restricted. Again this my opinion on it. 2. 10 speed feels less jerky and awkward than the 8 speed 3. What the accord lacks in power, it makes up in torque. With that said it can get to traveling speeds efficiently. At least that’s how it felt in my dads Honda 3. Again it’s cheaper 4 Lastly Honda makes more of their powerful engine variant than Toyota. If Toyota made more V6s I would get the the Toyota
That rear end look tho is awful...it’s not a civic so what’s up with the C taillights. I’ll give you points tho on the front end. Very aggressive and refined, but for me the rear is a deal breaker. The 9.5 gen Accord will always be the best looking model💯
Great review as always. I love this Accord. Sadly the Uk does not get the Accord anymore. Typical Honda, beautiful build and looks classy. I like the fact it has a style of its own on the outside. The Civic like the Accord does sway opinion on styling.
@@RaitisRides its madness. They pulled out around 2013. The latter Accord/ Accura Tsx 2008 as you know it didn't sell well in the UK unlike the previous version. Nice review man. I own a 2018 2.0T Sport and I can tell you that this is the most amazing car I've ever owned. The power from the engine is a lot more than most people expect when I blow past them. Also, it gets very impressive fuel economy. I would recommend it to everyone.
The bee comment was really nice. Thanks for mentioning that wonderful fact about the bees.

I have a 2019 Accord touring only 2 things I want that they don’t offer, panoramic roof & red seats
How's the sound system and bass?
@@ft9kop its ok, i upgraded mine. you can see it on my channel
i bought a benz a year after getting the 2018, whoa big difference in quality. i thought it was a great car until i rode in the e 400 coupe
@steve it’s ok for regular people but I’m definitely upgrading mines, it’s has 450 watts the new Camry has around 800 watts
@@JayeBass My buddy has a new E class. Honestly, it's a big difference, as it should be, but not a big enough difference to makeup double the price.
I bought the sport!!!!! Love it so much and your reviews helped for my decision. I wish they would make an AWD version. I have the blue pearl color and it’s really a head turner
Owned one for about 3 weeks now. Love it so far and I've been a Toyota Camry over for over a decade
Does the accord feel like a bigger car when driving compared to a Camry ?
@@VirgosGroove3 actually it does. Even when comparing a new Camry to a new Accord, the Accord seems/feels bigger, more planted on the road. The fit and finish of the car is miles above the Camry IMO. We have owned it for over 3 months now and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I bought the Touring Hybrid btw.
Corey Harmon I want to like the Accord but the seat seemed uncomfortable and bigger in the front hood area. (I’m only 5’4)
Honda has really been doing something special especially with the prices. Great value car!!
Kordell Agree, good value
I have a 2018 Touring 2.0T with 43,500 miles and love it. I have the white platinum exterior with the light tan interior and wouldn’t change anything. I can fit my family of 5 in it easily and it has plenty of power in any driving situation. There is a USB plug in the center console so a 6’ charging cable will solve the no plugs in the rear. Great review!
Stereo Typist no issues at all
My 05 Accord manual 4cyl has over 330'000 miles. Still going strong. I wonder how long these new turbos will really last..
OWNER458 mine is at 180k, I love it got some wheels coils and it’s perfect even for today’s era
OWNER458 my 07 Accord 4cyl is at 52,000 barely
Honda's reliability has gone downhill the last few years. Expect quite a few issues if you plan to own a modern Honda for 100,000+ miles. Your're better off leasing a modern era Honda.
03 5 speed accound 217k miles
that's the question we're all asking, and why I'm not touching the turbos.
Mopar Tom They can be added at the dealership.
Mopar Tom it’s a 120 dollar option
Civic is already in the facelift year now. Next year will be a new generation
Accord will enter the facelift in 2021. Two more years of the generation is left
They just changed the accord what are u saying
I bout this car in January and I love this car.
Damn this is faster than my IS350
David i really wanted an is350 but got this touring... wanna trade? haha
V.I.R Lap times
Honda Accord 2.0T - 3:18.4
Toyota Camry V6 - 3:25.3
Okkkkk? And? Both cars are slow. Its a daily commute vehicle. Who cares about lap time?
@@troytruong8246 exactly my thoughts. However the Camry will easily outlive the accord due to the fact it doesn't utilize turbochargers 🤓😇
@@PLATINUM2U Nah, usual accord buyers are moms that use them as groceries carts. I know I wouldn't buy a car with that body style and I am not young :-P
Kia K5 is imported from Georgia and I think Nissan Altima is imported from North Carolina

Thank you 🙏🏽 thank you great review. My next car 🚗. Strong 💪🏽 work Joe
Three years ago today! Planning to buy it!
"as hard as an old piece of sushi" 🤣🤣🤣
Thanks for letting me share some laughs with you!
I can't wait to get behind the wheel of this Accord! Everything about it is on point!
It's always nice to have choices.
Love this new Honda Accord, you killed it with this video, Joe!
Joe brother that’s a nice car , thanks my friend like always you are the best
Great review 👏 👌
“Import Sedan”... imported from Ohio?
bscu0493 you get what I’m saying, right?
Are you taking shots at Ohio ? Lol
He probably means that it's NOT an American brand. It's Honda, the real deal of Japan.
Meanwhile, "American" brands (as well as a few others) are mostly built in Mexico.
40% of Americans are imported 😆
I just bought this exact car i love it
I have a 2019 same color and trim. Love it.
Any advice about the car
@@sexy02081988 love the car. Very responsive, great mileage. One thing to keep in mind is, if you go with the 19 inch wheels, you will feel the road. The car is very spacious. Love my A cord.
@@joelcruz998 thanks:)
My first car. Purchased just 4 months ago. Can't believe I made such a good decision.

Another phenomenal review from Joe Raiti! Can't wait to watch your review of the 2020 Chevy Spark, the cheapest new car in America!
Thanks Andrew! Stay tuned my friend!
I love the design of the front seats as the iron rod is not visible when almost all the luxurious sedan have the iron rod visible in the seats..this is great..the interior design is exceptional!..I love it!
Thanks for letting me share this one with you!
I bought a Sonata over this and I don't regret it.
Chivas127 a car that u can tune and modify easily. I will take accord any day over the Camry and sonata
Chivas127 until you’re about to trade/sell it , then you’ll realize how much your Sonata would have depreciated
@@Zayd0o0o I don't care about modifying. IMO
@@danielallan2537 I won't do that sorry. Just my preference.
Chivas127 well if your taking about the technology you get with it, yes! But space and power for the factor I would take a Honda or Camry over a sonata
I never noticed the stapler style headlights, but now that you point it out, I'll never un-see it.
Joe this car come with USB charger in the back
People need to add the USB charger
Correct, it's an option. Honda loves offering options.
What's insane is the current Acura styling they're going for isn't for me but Honda is still killing it. I love the Accord.
Thanks for letting me share this one with!
I wish they kept the v6
It’s called Acura
@@Cynical496
Nahh. If i want awd. I would get an Acura but i shouldn't go to an acura for a v6.
@@samlung2724 Be happy you still have an i4. There will come a time when all you have is a turbo i3 or electric.
Thanks buddy! You’re reviews have helped us select this accord!
Every time I see this body style Accord taillights all I can think of is a Stapler lol
I know right!
So sad
ruclips.net/video/ggbuS6q_N1M/видео.html
(Disclaimer: Biased Honda retired employee commenter, here! 🤫)
I totally agree with you Donald!
Love this! Such a nice car.
That is an excellent point and now I understand even more why you went with your Audi! I hope you and the family are doing well.
Like the style inside and out...Don't like the taillights and hood prop rod.
My 01 accord catalytic converter just got stolen, time to buy and your videos are essential during this time. Leaning towards passport, waiting for a great deal. Wish they had this steering wheel in the passport.
Ours did too funny they are still very valuable after 18 years
Chand G. Yup, heard the metals inside are valuable.
Bring back the 3.5 V6.
Thanks for sharing that great information!
19 inches wheels? Dang even changing tires on a Accord is getting expensive
Kenny Phun yes sir! Nothing is cheap anymore:
You could get the EX model which I believe has 18 inch wheels. Or the LX model has 17 inch wheels
The wheels on the touring and sport are also prone to theft - I would be always worried and opt for an EX-L instead!
The only problem with a turbocharger is that they don't last as long as the engine and will eventually have to be replaced. When that happens, chances are, the car will no longer be under warranty and will set you back roughly $1700 for parts and labor. For that reason i'm glad I went with the Camry SE.
That red color is sexy. It blends well with the horrible taillights vs other colors
The Honda Accord are beautiful, the bad thing about these modern ones is the CVT automatic transmission , they are GDI, and that almost everything is electronic, in the long run they will bring us problems.
Idk... kinda want a stinger too
I could understand that!
Great real world review. Especially the driving portion. Great job!
Joe, I'd give ya 5 likes on this one if I could AND, some Twinkies you really deserve more subz on your channel
Thanks man for that awesome support!
I had a 1980 Accord LX hatch back in the day and I loved it. My buddy owns a 2005 V6 Coupe and he's let me drive it. Accords are sweet, but you do see them everywhere.
In Canada we get 2 usb ports and heated seats in the back
Pranavan Sada here too there is heated seats I saw one at the dealer in buffalo ny
Car Man 04 yea I don’t know why he doesn’t have these features. The accord imo is the best sedan on the market
Great review Joe! That’s a great looking car for the touring trim level too!
Really liking these Accords, except for that chrome piece at the bottom
Rear USB ports are a factory accessory you can order and have installed at the dealership.
I wish there was a coupe version of it. I always really liked Accord coupes
Conscious Robot Bring back the Prelude as a 2 door Accord

@@sdmcwilliams70 I agree
Love Honda products, I've owned four Accords all excellent vehicles. My current ride a 2018 Sport. Best bang for the bucks in my opinion.
I am so glad that you like this one.
The taillights are just awful.
Yes. Cheaper than the V6 Camrys in my area and more importantly,
Honda makes more 2.0Ls over Toyota’s V6
The V6 has more power and is normally aspirated.
Ivanov Preslav
Yet the Accord is faster by an a hairs length.
@@HOTPLATEGAMING do you have the v6 Camry?
Jankuba Kromah NL I don’t have the V6 Camry but I do own the 2018 SE Camry 4 cylinder.
Camry is a good car but for me Honda is the way to go for the following:
2. 10 speed feels less jerky and awkward than the 8 speed
3. What the accord lacks in power, it makes up in torque. With that said it can get to traveling speeds efficiently. At least that’s how it felt in my dads Honda
3. Again it’s cheaper
4 Lastly Honda makes more of their powerful engine variant than Toyota. If Toyota made more V6s I would get the the Toyota
Loving the new Honda Touring, great review 👍🏾
Honda Best of the best 👍
I am so glad that you like this one!
I love it Joe, sounds like a race car on throttle!!
I totally agree with you Rich!
That rear end look tho is awful...it’s not a civic so what’s up with the C taillights. I’ll give you points tho on the front end. Very aggressive and refined, but for me the rear is a deal breaker. The 9.5 gen Accord will always be the best looking model💯
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this one!
Great review as always. I love this Accord. Sadly the Uk does not get the Accord anymore. Typical Honda, beautiful build and looks classy. I like the fact it has a style of its own on the outside. The Civic like the Accord does sway opinion on styling.
That is really crazy Andy!
@@RaitisRides its madness. They pulled out around 2013. The latter Accord/ Accura Tsx 2008 as you know it didn't sell well in the UK unlike the previous version. I have that 2008 year type model and it's great, love it. The Germans dominate the saloon category in the UK. Even GM Vauxhall Insignia and Ford Mondeo are poor sellers by comparison to the German saloons. I can't help but feel this Accord could do well in the UK, guess we will never know☹️
