- The two best selling midsize sedans..the 2020 Honda Accord and the 2020 Toyota Camry in their top trims against each other. Both are fantastic cars in this class and are very similar with what they offer. This Camry XSE V6 has some additional options while this Accord Touring 2.0T has everything that comes standard because Honda doesn't do options..just accessories. Leave your thoughts on each car and which one you would take!
Huge thanks to these two dealerships:

Prime Autotainment I would pick the Camry my mom has and 2013 model so yea and plus she is about to buy the XSE V6, also great Review or comparison
Very cool, those ‘13s are great cars! Thanks for watching as always! 😁👍
Prime Autotainment Your welcome
Love your reviews out of everyone else! They not biased in anyway! But I will be taking the Accord Touring in February 2020 😍🙌🏽🙌🏽
Dante E thank you very much, I appreciate it 😁👍. Man that sounds great, you’ll love it!
Camry has been good to me. I had one for 240k miles. We went through a lot together. Finally gave it to a youth in the church. It is still in good shape.
That’s awesome, great to hear 😁👍
david doggy No need to brag. Lol I wrecked it couple times too. Poor car.
Godbelss you amen
Up to a few days ago, I had a 2001 Acura TL with 224k miles on it. It was wrecked last Thursday when someone crashed into my RR side, putting the car in a spin and ultimately sending it off road. Total loss. To replace it, I'm seriously considering a 2020 Camry XSE.
I own a 2004 Toyota Camry with 300,000 miles on it.
After it dies I will get another Camry
Baba Jan should last you till 700k miles if you keep up with maintaince
@@mikexcanxjerk thanks I take good care of her.
haha
I have Honda Odessey. 300k. It just won't die.
That’s why American brands not selling no more. Ford Fusion be feeling so cheap (interior and motor)
I have the 2020 Honda Accord EXL. Nothing against Camry. Toyota makes awesome cars. For me, this year’s Accord just got me. It’s an amazing ride and the features are perfect for me. 👍🏼
Very nice, enjoy your new Accord! 😁👍
I got one too! Super happy and I’m doing all kinds of things already
Yessss girl ! Hope you enjoy it ! I agreee

Christina Martinez I have the the slate grey. So outside. I smoked the lights darker, Dark tints, Did the roof black. And did a simple lip kit all the way around. Under the hood. All from prl motorsports I did the intake, Downpipe, front pipe, and Hondata flashpro. I will not do the flex fuel upgrade.
I own a 2018 Honda Accord 2.0t and have never been happier with a car. This is my 3rd Accord and they just keep getting better.
how is reliability? I’m planning on getting one!!🙏🏽
my family has owned 3 honda accords (92, 96, 2000 V6), 5 camry (89 v6, 96, 2011, 2014, 19 v6). In summary: the accord was a little more fun to drive but all eventually had transmission or engine problems, the camry lasted over 250k miles with no issues
I have a 2005 accord exl manual for 10 yrs. Most I've done was clutch, drive shafts and upper and lower ball joints once each. I have 19" 47lb (w/tire) chrome wheels which is why I've done ball joints. My dad own a 2003 Camry that always has issues. He drives like old man he is. I burn tires often until I had to change clutch. Im on my 3rd gen accord with 17 yrs driving while pops been driving camry forever. We compare quality and efficiency all the time. Both cars are much better than class competitors either way.
You are so right about accord.Accord doesn’t stand test of time like toyota.Toyota is a die hard machine
Toyota 💙
Good comparison review. No silly loud music in the background, in depth review without being too long and boring and articulated well. Good job and thank you.
Thank you, I appreciate it!
Both are good but I prefer the design of the accord. Can't go wrong with Toyota or Honda
Cam for me!
+fernand0 so I'm assuming u prefer the more simplistic non fancy design in cars then?!?!
@@tufflucal4037 yeah I really dislike the grill design of the Camry, it’s hideous.
@@fernand0167 interesting...

Drove a Honda Accord for 15+yrs. Just purchased the Camry XSE & it is amazing!!! I’m obsessed ❤️❤️❤️
That’s awesome, glad to hear it 😁👍
I am very happy that these two models, each of which has advantages, are both good🙏
Make sure you know how to drive not just hold the steering 😀
V4 or v6?
My 2002 Camry with 228K miles (and no issues) got totalled. I now got a 2019 Camry LE and I'm VERY satisfied.
2020 Honda Accord Touring in White ❤️It’s amazing!!!! I bought it on July 2nd. AMAZING!!!!!!

Great job from these two automakers the aggressive look and stance looks awesome!!
I'm still driving my 2014 Accord Sport, White, leather, 5 star Rims and Tint. Love it!
They are both perfect but personally I love the Camry.
Man I like the Honda to but then again I would go with Camry the Camry offers so much that the Honda doesn’t my Opinion Honda really needs to step it up that Red interior in the Camry is what got me
@@jeremiahmarchbanks5120 what doesn’t Honda offer that the Camry does?

camry = exterior
Accord= engine and interior
"Both cars feel very similar but very different". Hahah, make up your mind! I actually did like your review and you did a good job of showing us the differences. I think this was one of the better reviews comparing the two cars. I think I'm going to get a Lexus.
Both are excellent cars. If you plan on keeping the car for many years get the Camry. A turbo puts more strain on the engine. Also check if that Honda engine needs the values gaped every so often. If that Honda engine calls for 0-16 oil, use it. Don't be cheap on the oil and changes.
Just bought the exact same Camry you just tested and man I love it! Love the Red interior. Looking forward to many years and miles out of this car!
Glad to hear it!
My dream car ! Hoping to get it in a few months ! Red seats and all 🥰😍
Lol man city have fans?
Love the red leather in the Camry and the exterior styling. Honda has the more responsive power train. If I really had to choose.................Camry. Red leather and V6 all the way! The best review of these two I've seen so far.
Thank you very much Randy! I like the red leather too and definitely that V6!
I own a 2000 Honda Accord v6 lx coupe, it now has 374000 miles and has not miss a beat. It has been a great car. But the closer i get to 400K miles the more i look at the new camry TRD and honda 2.0t touring. What ever we as consumer decide buy we can’t go wrong with either car. Thanks for the detail review.
Great job man! These have been 2 of my favorite cars for years. But my choice is definitely the Camry. The v6 alone makes it a winner with me. And now they've added ventilated seats and android auto too! I'm sold. Keep up the good work man!
I appreciate it! That V6 wins me over too lol. I always appreciate your support!

I did too a 2019 manual 2.0 T, too bad they don't have white in 2020
HalospeedGT5 they don’t have white for 2020? Wow my 2018 is white
It looks nice but I rather pick Lincoln mkz 2017 v6 400hp
nothing beats a bigger displacement N/A engine, more reliable and direct power. You dont got smaller engines that have to work harder with a turbo. This not even a question, Camry takes the cake.
What are you talking about.. The 2.0t engine is bigger than the 1.5 and the 8 speed camry transmission is ass,
Smaller engines with turbos/gdi are more efficient than NA cars.
We have been in love with Honda all our life until the transmission problem broke our heart💔. Our first take on Camry seems to be a new found love 💕 that makes me feels like to say Baby I’m Back. I love Performance(power, strength&speed) and some Sound(good sound system) Now the 2020 Toyota Camry XSE with 301HP with 800 Watts speakers, very good reliable Transmission&Engine, and also the 2020 Toyota Camry XLE/XSE AWD is a win win for the Camry. I’m just gonna say OMG Honda is in big trouble, although they have great engine but they need bring that transmission reputation back. The Camry still remains a no match and you can’t beat that bro.
These two cars are amazing! Can’t wait to purchase one one day
I bought me a 2019 Honda Accord 2.0 liter, Because I am not into sport sedans I thought I will go with the Accord. I drive around 1600km every week and I found Accords adaptive cruise control system to be one of the best.
I have the 3.5 v6 camry and I really like the Reliability of this Engine. I've had it for over 3 yrs now and have only changed the oil and air filter. This 3.5 v6 IS The Best V6 in the World. Great power and it's Good on Gas Mileage.
That’s awesome to hear! Great engine and should last a long time. Thanks for watching!

Honda will forever be my favorite..love everything about it
Toyota is better overall... I'm not playing favorites, I'm just reporting on real data you can look up at Carcomplaints.
Okay 👍
I like the integrated infotainment screen on the Camry over the accord, but I hate the red leather seats. Some red accents would’ve been great , but not the entire seats. If the engine on the Camry is both GDI and port injection that eliminates the crap that builds up on the intake valves of GDI only engines. I would still install an oil catch can on both cars though. If you’re gonna lease go for the accord, that way you won’t have to worry about losing engine performance when the gunk starts building up on the intake valves because you’ll be returning it to the dealer and it won’t be your problem anymore.
I have 2019 Honda Accord and I love the drive and pick up of that but Camry is also a nice car but I prefer Honda
@Jarmal timberland The Camry. The V6 is so silky smooth and the car just has a more luxurious feel to it compared to the Accord. This is after driving them back to back. I'm going with the Camry XSE V6.
@@jonasblane2157 that’s just cap bro the accord has better suspension better acceleration pretty much better everything just cus it’s a v6 doesn’t make it better accord is 4cylinder turbocharged and I’ve driven both but went with the accord
@@josefuentes2329 I actually went with a brand new 2021 accord touring 2.0t in the end after riding in a friend's 2.0t with a tune. Yeah, I bought mine and tuned it right away. It blows the Camry XSE V6 away.

Would love to see Honda come out with a two tone White on Black. I've had Hondas from the 80"s great car as well as the Camry. For me in the end it all depends on your driving refence. I've always loved the way my accord handed.
Toyota is more reliable.

I like the Honda but I don’t like the shifter
I drive 2016 Accord Sport. I like the car. It is naturally aspirated. I will not go with Accord because it is turbocharged now. I would get the Camry with the V6 if I was buying today.
Robert Johnson is it bad if it’s turbocharged??
@@nawfalbensaidi5350 Turbochargers do not have a long lifespans. Turbocharged engines frequently have oil dilution problems. Honda is known for this issue.
Robert Johnson thank you
The V6 is a huge upgrade!
Plus turbo engines lose power approaching higher speeds. They're good off the line, that's about it.
Just traded in my 2004 camry for a 2020 camry xse v6. Made a good choice over the accord, the V6 was the deciding factor.
I can't say anything about honda but I own Camry XSE v6.I and my 2 friends, we did a whole canada tour in a month with no issues in my car.
Comfort is very appreciable.
At high speeds of 200kmph, Car was stable, fuel economy was good and. At the end, It's a big thumbs up for toyota. If anyone of you considers to buy toyota, then definately go ahead. You won't regret your decision
I have a 2014 Toyota Camry SE - very practical, reliable car. Bought a 2020 Honda 2.0T Sport which is an awesome car. To me both have things they do well. I just like the interior of honda better and handles better. You can’t go wrong with either
I have the '18 XLE v6 I would recommend the camry to anyone who wants to drive a fun car.the camry is amazing
James great I agree I have 2020 Camry TRD is very good and little bit expensive than Honda
I have the '18 LE Hybrid and highly recommend it. Super fun, not boring like most people envision Camry's to be. Handles like a dream and is really enjoyable to drive. :D
i would take camry's powertrain with accord's frame.
Toyota has gone full-on Japanese animation with its design.
Exactly. Toyota embraces the iconic Japanese design whereas Honda just compied KIA.
I like the blocky look of the Accord but I like the V6. Take the Accord look, the Toyota engine and the VW DSG
Nick S I find the accord ugly as hell. Did you ever see it in real life?
Honda looks like a 🐡
I like both (Accord & Camry) but I would pick the Camry XSE. At this time, I drive a Mazda 6 GS-L Turbo 2018 and I love the style & look of it so I"ll keep it for some years. BTW, great video & review.
great review bro! I still cant decide but love that v6!
Thank you very much! Gotta love the V6 👍
The Honda’s design is soooo luxury and sexy. Toyota’s are really the best car. It’s a hared choice.
I GET BOTH , ACCORD IN BLACK AND CAMRY 2 TONE SILVER AND BLACK COMBO IT LOOKS SOOOOO AWESOME.
@derrik tie THAT IS SOOO AWESOME, GREAT CAR CONGRATULATIONS .👍
Great review as always Nolan

I'd no doubt take the Honda Accord.
hell no, with all their recalls ill take a camry over any honda 7 days a week and twice on sundays
@@cantwealljustgetalong2 You can't go wrong with either one.
Accord is by far the drivers car. Camry is for people who think sporty cars just look sporty.
I just bought the 2020 2.0t sport I really like it I have not driven the Camry but sense I owned my 2004 Camry I figured let’s try Honda this time and I’m glad I chose the 2020 to do so it just looks so much nicer then the last few years looks almost full size
I just bought 2020 Honda sport after owning a BMW wasn’t sure I’d like it but I absolutely love it the car handles great many safety features and CarPlay all around quality car
Both are very impressive sedans which the average American can upkeep. Both are very reliable car companies and are both going to last you long. It all comes down to brand loyalty and aesthetic appeal. I have owned an Accord before but never a Toyota. I will choose the Camry in a heart beat.
That Accord will age much better, very clean lines.
??
Not as fancy as the camry tho! Plus the sun roof option for the camry!
But Honda has always been the higher end and preferred, if u were comparing the 2!
That's why usually the camry's are cheaper; Affordable, but it will last long!
I have the 2016 civic touring with the integrated infotainment screen. Not fond of the tablet type of display. Glad to see Honda brought back the volume knob, my civic doesnt have the volume knob and i'm still reaching for the temperature knob to change the volume.
Just bought me an accord 2.0 sport. Loved the test drive. It was a hoot to drive for sure.
how is reliability? I’m planning on getting one!!🙏🏽
The XLE V6 is the best trim to compare to the touring. But overall great comparison.
Thank you! Yeah definitely...this was the only V6 they had. They had another that was about $100 different than the Touring but it must have sold right before I got there lol. Thanks for watching!
Jxmar Xse>>>Xle
toyota camry is better then honda accord because camry structure and light is beautiful than honda accord
Accord. I like European cars so I think that’s why I like the Accord vs the Camry as far as looks go. It has that toned down elegant/sporty look. Perfect look imo. Camry looks really nice, but a little too tacky for me.
You look good as always bro
I have a 2012 civic. Not sure if i want another civic or if i should switch to an accord now. So excited!!
Love the red interior on the Camry as well as that 360 camera but overall o would take the Accord more bang for your buck and it’s just nicer inside
Thanks for the video. Both are really nice and well built, and will meet your family sedan needs. You really can't find a bad 2020 family sedan out there, makes it tough to chose one, but very good for the consumer overall.
Im gonna order both the look good and very practical for around town and city use.
Recently bought my Toyota Camry XSE AWD 2021 and I absolutely love my car!
I like the Camry better and I have always been a Honda guy I love the red inside the Camry just looks more premium to me also like the V6 in the Camry
I like Toyota and Honda but since Honda was my first car & I genuinely loved it. I'm a have to go with Honda.
2024 Camry XSE V6 here...sold my 2022 XSE 4 Cyl... The V6 thinks is a sports car..i like it alot.
Awesome vid from two great car companies. Both cars look stunning however, I like the V6 with a naturally aspirated engine over a 4 cyl turbo. I own a 2018 Camry Sports (no CVT model) here in Australia and it’s an amazing car, so smooth to drive and the quad exhaust pipes look amazing. Toyota for me.
I have the 2020 Toyota Camry Se. Amazing car
Camry V6 all the way... Loved to have chosen the Accord (driving experience/suspension) but the Turbo did it for me... i.e. the more moving parts, the more chances of something going wrong... I will remain old school until these new Turbo engine prove themselves as reliable as their Naturally Aspirated engines they replaced (which you could easily put with 500K+ miles on them if you take care of them)... likewise for the new CVT engines... I just love how reliable the (Honda/Toyota) automatic transmissions have proven themselves since the early 90s.
I have to agree...
I think I prefer the Camry's V6 over the Accord's turbo
They get the same fuel economy anyways
I have a 2005 Honda Accord with 335,000 miles and still going and going, enough said
Cool story 👍
Toyota is better overall... I'm not playing favorites, I'm just reporting on real data you can look up at Carcomplaints.
I just had a look for you, 2005 Toyota Camry has 120 complaints. 2005 Honda Accord has 310 complaints. Now, these are registered complaints, not opinions, but facts. Both are quite low numbers, but since there are 10 times more Toyota's, you can see Toyota has a much more reliable product. Just the facts.
Great review my dude!
Thank you very much!
Just got my wife the 2020 accord literally just yesterday but also love the Camry. Tough choice but the right choice when either picking hinds or Toyota. She went from 2011 accord to 2020 accord. I myself am loving my Tundra. Is it too much to ask fir a Toyota Accord?
I tested both and went with Camry. The build quality is better.
I'm about to go out and test drive both today. I heard from other people that the accord is the one build with more quality. Tell me do your doors sound clunky when you close them? Thats a complaint I've heard so far. It's not a deal breaker for me I just want to know if you cab say.
I’ve got a Camry, I’ll get me a newer model one day.
Muku Ro this is exactly why i didn’t get the Camry.... I don’t know what part of a Camry’s build was better.... one thing I will say is better is the straight highway ride is a little smoother but the accord handles corners and sudden movements wasaaay better. Not to mention almost 50 more hp....
Not to hate but i opinion that toyota just really seems to focus 90% on engine 10%on everything else honda is like 70% engine and 30% everything else. Why hondas like inside and build is that slightly better.... JUST MY OPINION :🤖
Accord has better quality interior but Camry has more features
I have the 2019 accord and i love accord and forever accord
Personally I just bought a brand new Camry xse in the real world with real pricing and incentives you can't beat the Camry.
That’s awesome! Enjoy your new Camry 👍

TEAM ACCORD IVE ALWAYS ADMIRED THEIR STYLE. HONDA ACCORDS ALWAYS APPEARED TO ME AS CARS THAT WERE MADE IDEAL. SPORTY,CONVENIENT,ECONOMICAL BASICALLY IF POSSIBLE PERFECT!!!!!
I agree
I would get the Camry for the sole reason that the accord has turbo while the camry natural aspirated v6.
For long distance turbo is okay
jeric cordero not in the long run though it’s causes premature ware
Frijolito I’m not sure about that, maybe 10yrs ago. Besides Accord engines have been used on racetracks globally, so they have seen issues with the turbos and adjusted.
John Reid yes but still at the end out the day turbos cause premature ware to the engine thus making the engine less reliable
@@frijolito1845 how about turbo diesel?
I'll go with the Camry. Beautiful V6 that is naturally aspirated. New generation Honda is having problems with oil dilution on their turbocharged engines.
The 1.5 has that issue not the 2.0.
1.5T Civics. Better than Camry's killing people with their pedals a decade ago.
I question the longevity of turbocharged engines. Is it risky for Honda to go this route like the Germans?
does supercharging it shorten the lifespan of the engine? just curious...
No it isn't on 2.0
Great review
The red leather seats in the Camry are awesome!!
Team Camry all day, everyday. The styling on the Camry looks bold, but clean. The Blizzard White pearl is beautiful, but I prefer the ones without the black roof option. The Accord looks like an Impala love child to me. It’s not bad, but just doesn’t work overall to me. The Camry interior wins me over with that crazy sexy red interior. The traditional shifter is much more to my liking as well. Honda offers some equipment that the Camry doesn’t, but the big ticket items like the panoramic roof and JBL audio are missing form the Accord. The hard touch plastic door panels in the rear of the Accord are blatantly downmarket. I wonder why Honda can’t beat Toyota on gas mileage? The Accord has nearly 50 less hp, 2 extra gears, and weighs less but on ties the Camry. I also have to add that my 2015!Legacy has ventilated brakes front and rear. Lol
I’m with you! They’ve both done a nice job but yeah those big items on Camry really stand out. Good question about the MPG. Same size wheels too. Who knows lol.
Great to hear about your Legacy haha that’s awesome!! Good ok Subaru safety right ?!
Prime Autotainment you know it. Haha. It also has active torque vectoring which I don’t think was on too many mid-sized sedans at the time. Thinking about upgrading after New Years. Can’t decide between a Crosstrek, Forester, or Outback. 🤔
Honda Accord hands down. Im the original owner of a 2000 Accord with 391,000 miles and shes still going with no issues. I also have a 2016 Accord, once that one is paid for getting the new Accord for sure. Love the style, equipment and wheels of the new Accord Sport 2.0t.
Camry of course! I own one 2015 Camry XSE. Whenever mine dies my next one will be the TRD Camry. The accord looks more like Hyundai. Camry is much sportier and more power
Which one has the better automatic transmission? Do either of them have a limited slip differential?
Toyota gives you two options l, you can go with the 4 engines or 6 engines that is up to you.
I had a Camry with wind chill and realy like the red interior with the panoramic moon roof that makes more sporty. I want to point out one think that the two ton wind chill color really makes the my Camry look different with the other cars on the road . It is really shine under the sun. You can go you any Toyota dealer for a driving test
I really like the Wind Chill Pearl two tone
I think it looks better than the Accord
@@ridwanmahmood9711 I got wind chill Pearl with the TRD package. Some say it lacks features but it has what I want and the extra braking power rigidity, exhaust and V6 is exactly what I wanted. Everyone thus far has liked it and some didn't know it was a camry. Styling not for everyone but I will say it looks better in person. I considered the 2.0t sport as well. My wife preferred the TRD and the beefy V6 she felt the accord was more plain and lacked a shifter... although I would have gone with a manual... I am happy with the camry to say the least.
The accord absolutely
Toyota is better overall... I'm not playing favorites, I'm just reporting on real data you can look up at Carcomplaints.
💯
What’s the warranty comparisons?
Which one’s better on gas?
Which one has most safety features?
Which one scores best on crash test?
Which one’s cheaper?
Can’t forget the turning camera. When you turn the blinker on the camera gives you a side view
That Accord has the blind spot monitor instead of lane watch - they’re phasing out the lane watch camera
With the Camry.... If you leave your hand on the driver door for an additional two seconds.. All doors unlock
Those two extra second is what it takes to actually open the door and hit the unlock button, though.
@@edgardocandelaria4987 it's a very rarely used feature. But I still like it
The accord doors lock when your a certain distance away from the car
CHRIS KARSSEBOOM That can be very convenient for thieves since when you approach automatically the doors open the thing is that you operate the machine, not that the machine handles you
I own a 2014 V6 EXL Accord. I am soon trading to a 2020 model. I absolutely love my Accord. Appreciate your comparisons and enjoyed your video
Thank you and I’m glad to hear it!
Can you give us a list of the $2,000 worth of options on the Camry that are a upgrade??
Also i'd choose the accord, Torque is a mover & the more comfortable seats, soft leather. Does Accord offer Red Leather interior?
Very good review, helps with our choices, since Ford & GM for the most part have given up on sedans & coupes. {save for the Mustangs & Camaro's] Yeah !!
I have 2018 cam xse, v6 silky smooth. Had a lil bit of roll till I changed suspension. I love it and wouldn't get anything else.
Eco mode easy going
Sport gives u stiffer steering with torque, it can move, it's no sports car, which is fine.
That’s awesome! You’ve got a sweet ride. Thanks for writing in 👍
I love the styling of the Camry with the integrated infotainment it's a badass looking car inside and out (except for the interior color. I would prefer a shade darker) but I would go with the Accord for better comfort, handling and acceleration
Hold up they added cooled seats in the Camry
Yep just this year!
Yes, that sold me on this one. Being in Florida, I really need these.
That's one thing I've been waiting on. It's almost a necessity here in Texas!
Now they even added AWD!
I’m pumped for that AWD!
I had a Camry SE, it was nice, I absolutely HATE the red seats on the one in the video, would never get them. I think leg room is more important and truck space is a must for me. I drive a Pilot daily because of my hobby and I live in a snow belt. I would probably buy the Accord in a few years, right before I retire. When it snows, I'm home anyways, no need to go out. I think I like the lower end snapiness of the Accord and the 10 speed, overall I'd go with the Honda.
If you compare the headlight, which is the brightest
Toyota for life! Great what a great car the only difference is that I wish Toyota was extra glossier like most Honda cause Honda’s are only great based on their glossy exterior look! But either way Toyota for life
Toyota all the way, way cooler car
So helpful! thank you :)
I have 04 Camry with 106,000 on it, you know this car is good for 10 more years easy, just amazing how they run, quite yet great power for a 2.4liter car does everything you need, forget about gas 40 drive for 2 weeks, just amazing car, but i think all cars are how you take care of them, i had American cars were just as nice when you take care of them
