    My carb was flooding so badly, at times I would see fuel under the mower, and it would no longer start. I'd come back the next day, and it would run again. I tried all the tricks I could find on RUclips. I finally figured out the problem. It was the little rubber tip at the end of the needle valve. The tip was cracked about half way through and leaning to one side a little. It was an easy fix, once I figured out this was the problem. I had the mower looked at twice by our local shop, but they didn't catch this.

      3.one end governor spring is hanging on the lever. I have to figure out where the other goes. I can't quite make it out in the manual.
      Anyway I got it running late last night and it sounds good. I forgot the oil that ran down on the muffler. I'd had the valve cover off. I let it run long enough to get hot several times and had the neighborhood smoked up.

    • @billseivers3528
      @billseivers3528 2 месяца назад

      Probably not. The solenoid under the float bowl usually sticks in the down position which lets the fuel pass through the bowl and into the cylinder, through the valves and into the crankcase. Be sure to check your oil and if it feels really thin, or if it smells like gasoline, then you need to replace the solenoid or install an in-line fuel shutoff to stop the fuel from flowing into the carb after shutting the mower off.
