Just keep applying, if the school really needs teachers, they will consider you. A friend of mine from South America had the same issue as you but she managed to secure a job after 2 years.
I don't have any access to any simulation test nor can I remember the test questions. All I remember is that the uni entry literacy and numeracy test wasn't hard.
First is let your qualifications be assessed first through NZQA. You will need to pay. Then, wait for your qualifications if it is level 7 with major of ECE then you can proceed to apply for Teachers Council overseas. You have to take an English test, either IELTS or PTE. Then apply in Education Gazette for a job. Good luck

Hello mam. I am from India and want to ask that for becoming a primary teacher, is it compulsory to teach maori language as you can understand that I don’t have knowledge about this language and also please tell me which subjects do I have to teach as a primary teacher.
What is the chance to hlget selected as primary teacher in new Zealand from overseas if all the proccess in online or person not present in New Zealand, and also tell me that mam some selected from overseas via full process is in online mode mam?

Hi mam...im from India...i applied for the post of English and sent mail...how the interview will be conducted...is it online or something kindly tell the whole process...and one more question is it compulsory for me to clear IELTS or PTE exams because i have master in English and B.Ed.😊
You can choose to do it online. A proof of English language proficiency is necessary unless you are from a country where English is your native language.

Hiring usually starts around October onwards but there will times when schools also hire around mid-year.

A Bachelor's degree in ECE should be helpful. If you have other relevant teaching experience, you can include it in your assessment.

We teach all subjects. The more Māori that you incorporate in your instruction, the better.

Some schools who are desperate for teachers take on applicants from overseas. However, it’s more common in secondary than primary.
