    You must be an IT instructor cuz you've explained the subject extremely good, a very comprehensive and in-depth detailed instruction. Absolutely amazing.

    This is hands down the best instructional video on this subject. You really break it down for everyone from the techy experience to the 80 yrs old grandma who doesn't know anything about technology other than plugging in the extension cord and hitting the power ON BUTTON. You should make more instructional videos, it will help humanity especially in today's world. Having to deal with lockdowns because of the COVID-19 VIRUS, people are stuck indoors. So give them a easy way to watch their programs on their big tv sets as Opposed to watch it on their tablet.or phone.

      This is nothing what it says it is. All he did is take his laptop and extend the screen to the television. You can buy a cheap tablet and do the exact same thing much cheaper and easier and not have to sit in the floor with your laptop. Also you want have 30 sets of wires all over the place. He went all the way around his elbow to get to his a$$hole. I'm not trying to be mean but he paid more for all the connectors splitters wires and so on when he could have bought one usb cable and like I said a cheap samsung tablet or if you even wanted a cheap budget computer for a backup system just incase your main laptop goes down, then you could go that route. I will paste this above because this was just to much work and to much money to spend when it could have been much simpler and cheaper.

    I I'm a senior citizen. Found this video user friendly. Have a smart tv, but my (young computer savvy) neighbor told me I didn't. As a result I have 've been suffering watching Netflix on my phone or laptop uncomfortably. Although I would like to inform my neighbor of the new development, it's not worth it. Just shows me that I can do things on my own with the right instructions. RUclips is a great too. Thank you for your video.

    I have fond memories of a tv you used a basic electrical cord to plug in the wall, a rotary dial changed the 5 available tv channels, and there were no remote controls. We got up out of our chairs to change the channels. I am only 64 years old, and I remember. It’s astonishing just how complicated life has become.I am watching this trying to learn. Thanks for breaking this all down.

    you seem to know what you're talking about it been looking for videos like this for years . and it would seem you have knowledge of mirroring imagery and data. I know this is not a forum so please forgive me I have a smartphone and when I go to mirror it shows that I have a Roku sometimes a Roosevelt TV Fire stick other times I do not have a smart TV in my house it also says mirror in bedroom. I've tried talking with my provider. my question is could you point me in the right direction so that I might find out why this is occurring
    PS thank you for your time putting this video out also the audio is good and loud in the cinematography it's helpful Peace Love tie dye and Beads✌

    • @Mymatevince
      @Mymatevince  7 лет назад +2

      Hi, thanks for the comments. It is probably picking up your neighbours equipment. When I go to mirror (cast) on my phone it picks up my neighbours TV but if I was to try and connect then it wouldn't cast onto that equipment unless your neighbour allowed it. Normally the 1st time you try to cast (mirror) to a new piece of equipment then you have to allow it on the TV or PC or Laptop etc.
      Many thanks Vince

      it says it is connected thank you for taking the time to answer me though brother is it possible to find or pin down where are the frequency is coming from I won't bad you're with anymore security questions I know people get paid for that type of thing but I had to ask I have two beautiful children and there are a couple of sex offenders in my neighborhood I may be paranoid but I lost one child when she was two now I can't help the paranoia please forgive my long-windedness

    • @Mymatevince
      @Mymatevince  7 лет назад +1

      Your paranoia is understandable. I personally don't know if you can pin point it but normally in my house I can't get it to work much past 10 -15 meters so I would think the equipment like the Roku you are picking up would be very close. Also it only mirrors your phone onto the other equipment so they won't be able to control or do anything to your phone like turn on the camera and look through the pictures or contacts as you still have control of your phone and the TV is just viewing the screen of your phone so hopefully you are just being paranoid and nothing sinister is happening. If I was you for piece of mind I would just disable the mirroring function so on my Android phone I just hit cast to turn it off or on and you will probably be able to do the same under some 'screen' or 'display' setting.
      Good luck with it :-)

    How is that tv considered old lol, anyone could still be watching tv on it. Looks new to me. Old is like 4:3 TVs from the 80s or 90s.
    Nonetheless, nice video, liked it

      Only works when streaming through wifi / network connection, if you dont have wifi these cables still work, granted you will only have access to stored media
