Some people have said this theme is trash, but I think it’s my personal favorite.

this is _literally_ the first time i've actually loved the regular trainer battle theme in a pokemon game in all my years of playing them, outside of maybe us/um _(i don't remember how that one sounded but i remember it being a welcome improvement over s/m's version)_ and i love that - i feel like the little bit of the b2/w2 credits theme at 1:23 might be a big part of it, probably the credits theme i have the most attachment to in the franchise and it's such a wonderful surprise to hear it come back in any form
US/UM had a terrible Trainer Theme imo.
FOOLS! Obviously the Megami Ibunroku Persona battle theme is the best Pokémon trainer battle theme!
Aye man, I just picked up pokemon sword a short while ago and while many people including myself trashed on this game for having even more obligatory tutorials at the start and the animations and dlc (which i just found out recently can be shared as long as you have at least 1 friend lol) swsh is actually a huge visual/design/music overhaul that they actually put a ton of effort into and it really shows. Dynamaxing actually feels pretty awesome and they implemented so many quality of life things such as the dude in the pokecenters that works as name rater, move relearner/forgettor. In short, I actually like Sword now that I’ve actually started playing it. I can forgive the dex cut xD the other pokes that got left out were prob pokes almost no one uses anymore anyway.

What battling at the Galar Battle Tower's Endless Mode, even after 10K+ Victories in Both Single & Double Battles, feels like, as no matter the Galar Adventure, it continues on, no matter what!
During my first battles I thought this theme was lame, then I listen after 0:57...ufff

The keys in the background at 0:12 are so awesome, this one part of the song has been stuck in my head

I agree, I personally think that the music of Sword and Shield when you are at the hometown, this kind of music resembles the music of Sinnoh, it reminds me a lot of the Sinnoh musics!
This theme appears to have used all the other trainer battle themes from the earlier generations.
This would be even better if the bass was an octave lower and the bass drums had more of a punch. It is really catchy tho

This one has a lot of hate but its like the X and Y battle theme and people liked that one sooo
This one is nothing like the xy one. Not instrumentallly nor arrangement wise. The xy focused on electric guitar and this is more of a heavy synthesizer mess of sounds.
