there is no real canon, there were the alien movies....several books and comics, all of them not considered "canon".....there is no canon to identify, even ridley scott himself refused to see AVP movies as "alien" movies. as long as you have enough money, you can do what you want with this license
Idk I didn't mind resurrection, i think 3 was pretty bad tho, at least the way alien looked. I wish we could just have all these stories on screen, there needs to be an avp tv series so they can actually flush out this universe its so cool, they just need someone who can do it right.

These stories would make a good video game focusing on various characters some characters would have survival horror. Some characters deal with action packed suspenseful missions.

She then dodges a labotomy, stows away on a suicide mission to the alien world, falls in love, gets laid, gets called a cunt, becomes a murderer, gets the love of her life ripped from her again and then worst of all, the very worst, she discovers an android sheep has been balls deep in her!

Thematically I guess you have machismo versus brutal savagery in common. But that's only part of Dredd. How would Dredd's comportment and morality affect the plot? Have to be some... Crimes and maybe the chief justice wants to sacrifice cits to avoid risk. Maybe ... Dredd gets assigned to some crappy sector house and the cits have it under seige when a smuggling operation gets compromised. Maybe throw some muties in to produce novel xenos?

When I was young, around ten years old, I read the comic book based on the original Alien movie. It was horrifying and traumatic.
