If they would do away with the NFA stamp I would agree. But if I’m paying $200 (extra) to buy one regardless I want to get one that’s going to work well for a long time

Buget guns here isstil not that budget. But would like to test and review the webley & scott. 22 Xocet. Here we have the model webley & scott 22 x kettie mk 2. Dont know if it is the newest mofel. I have a cmmg 22 lr upper for my ar 15. It has a 4” barrel so everything is subsonic. I also have a a Ruger 1022 sbr with a 9” barrel and everything is subsonic. Like you said some mini mags will break the sound barrier. I chrono all my loads. Everything 4” is subsonic. I have had very little ammunition break 1000 FPS out of my 9” tactical solutions barrel on my 1022. The only cartridge to break the sound barrier I could access was the cci stinger. They chrono 1120 FPS out of my 9” barrel. Great video.

My backyard range is on a Tennessee hill like you and Hickok. The hill crests at 85 yards though so that's my limit unless I go over to the farm I work at.
The range is just as nice as the peace, quiet, privacy, and good neighbors. We only stayed in a city long enough for my wife to finish school. That was PLENTY.

I know CCI are your buddies and supply you with ammo.. but I would like you to try some other ammunition... that sucks. Aguila super extra. honestly I would like your opinion on it as well. I only have a 10-22 and a pistol to shoot it out of but its been ridiculously bad for me out of both. You may ask why am I putting myself through that? it was super cheap 8 months ago and they had a lot of it.
This is stupidly quiet. I can see this being one of the more dangerous firearms you could own. There's already a huge problem with .22's because there's an issue with people viewing them as not "real" guns and hurting themselves or other people. Then you make it quieter than an airsoft gun and you have a deadly combo. Still, super cool.
It’s quieter than my Diana model 34 classic .22 air rifle is. I was just out shooting my .22 air rifle on Monday and Tuesday at my 7 inch wide circular steel plate target shooting the H&N 16 grain hornet pellets I shoot. Using open sights as I do shooting from 20 yards away I never miss that steel target and the pellets make such a nice ping sound when they hit the steel
Have you taken a look at all the new air rifle offerings that are available now a days? My buddy just picked up a .357cal Seneca Recluse. I was very impressed with its accuracy in round ball and slug. 983fps. Weight of the projectiles vary (145 grain) and their are some aftermarket companies that take it to another level.
Ive always wondered how safe it is to have your hand be beyond the start of the suppressor? Is their potential for there to be a baffle strike that sends the bullet through the suppressor body? Im guessing no in 22 but in large calibers? Anyone have any writing on the subject i would love to know.
The innovative arms mp 15-22 is quieter. There barrel is ported at the barrel nut so all ammo is subsonic. It also came way before but it comes as a whole gun.
I'm still shooting PCP rifles for a penny right now. Fun stuff. Dirt cheap. It's getting harder to find pellets and slugs for those right now too, but nowhere near as bad as powder ammo.
Just the way it is recorded. Electronic devices attempt to equalize audio and it never sounds right. Try it with yours and tell me it doesn't sound louder being recorded.

I think 8" is too short a barrel, you can't afford to lose 22 velocity. Need 10" or 12". They should add barrel and reduce baffles IMO.
I'll just point out the obvious that a similarly suppressed bolt action would be nearly silent.
That's one helluva mini mag going 3500 fps might have to rename it to the mighty mag 😂
