This pork bone broth was done unintentionally, as I had a request from a friend to prepare a broth for a hotpot-get-together dinner. So I get all pumped up and come up with this pork bone broth recipe. It is more of a fusion pork bone broth, sort of an east meet west technique which I mashed it up. Here it is, I present to you a thick, creamy and gelatinous pork bone broth!
p/s : You will notice the recipe is a little different than what I had in my video, cause I had it slightly adjusted as some of the flavors overkill some other ingredients

It's the dark garlic and roasted veggies that give it the nice color

Did you remove the bone marrow(brownish stuff)? Wouldn't you lose most of the flavor then?

It looks amazing and I will make it for sure. Lovely soup. I love the way you cut the garlic!
(Did you scrape off the dye on the porkrind?)

Very nice, I enjoy those strong broths very much. What are those yellow sheets you´ve cut into the broth?

I think that’s the inner pot of a thermal pot. *Thermal pots come with an inner pot that can be placed on the stove to cook soup till they are boiling hot and then you place the inner pot back in the thermal. The thermal pot itself just makes sure it’s an airtight environment for the food to continue heating up. That saves time and gas (for those using open stove) because you don’t have to leave it boiling, you just pop it in the thermal pot and hours later everything is cooked and meat becomes tender too.

I skim top while making broth, use lots of salt and boil then simmer long

@@jrt1776 it's the same thing either way, skim/boiling then washing it is just to remove the impurities, they both work the same :)
